Booking is very easy
Booking is very easy, and you get plenty of reminders of payment dates and contact details of owners. Also, useful information on what attractions are available in the local area, and things to do.
Fantastic house in Sherringham
Fantastic house in Sherringham. (Cherry Tree House) Beautifully decorated and very child and dog friendly. Great position and lovely large garden.
Spotless, well equipped and comfortable.
Spotless, well equipped and comfortable. Originally built in the 1600’s as several cottages, Reclaim Cottage has been beautifully and thoughtfully converted to one cottage which has lots of character.
Great holiday experience!
Very easy booking procedure, good information updates and accurate description of the property although the 3rd double bedroom is small with no wardrobe and little drawer space.
Steep stairs
Steep stairs, we struggled to safely get up and down them, small bed, loud neighbours - some good touches, ie dog bed, torch. Good location and in the main very well thought out and provided for, but better description at point of sale should be provided.

Very enjoyable stay would definitely use again
The booking process was easy and the property accurately described
The booking process was easy, and we were kept appraised of our reservation in the lead up to our holiday. The modern two-bedroom apartment itself surpassed our expectations. It was in a quiet location on the outskirts of Cromer, spotlessly clean, and the owners have furnished it really well.
Very nice area with soo much to do and the cottage is bigger than it looks and very well equipped
Very nice cottage and bigger than what it looks. Is is so good for all that there is to do in this area.
Nice walks nice places to eat and very comfortable property
Booking online with Norfolk Cottages…
Booking online with Norfolk Cottages was very straightforward. Set in a quiet village Redshanks was well placed for exploring Norfolk. Very clean, comfortable and cosy with a good sized kitchen which was well equipped. Living room also had good sofas and an excellent television. This was the first self catering cottage we have stayed in (and we have stayed in quite a number) that you could actually watch the television, good reception and HD picture. Highly recommend this modern comfortable holiday cottage.
We were kept well informed after initial booking leading up to day of arrival and following up after departure.

Positive reviews only
Booked our summer holiday through this company. On arrival at the property, Hawthorne Cottage Ref 1653, we were disappointed by the condition of the property. There was a stark difference between the pictures on-line and the actual property. The actual property was tired, dirty, poorly maintained and the furnishings were different. It transpired that the property had had a change of ownership which we were not aware of. A number of things were pointed out to Norfolk holidays on our return but they simply passed them to the owner. Be aware your contract is with the owner, Norfolk holidays are just a booking agent and take no responsibility for poor experiences. I also wrote an honest review of the property which Norfolk holidays have not published. They only seem to publish positive reviews which isn't very honest or transparent. Think before you book.
Merryweather Cottage
Lovely cottage but parking is limited and the road in is very rough with many potholes. Mundesley beach is nearby and is very clean, super for dog walking.
A map of the village would be useful but it is easy to get around on foot. The Ship Inn well worth a visit but best to book beforehand.
An enjoyable stay but could have been better!
We had a enjoyable stay at Dahab. The house was nice and warm and very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything required and the lovely welcome pack and toiletries in the shower / bathrooms were very much appreciated. The decor throughout the house was, we felt a bit clinical however and lacking in cosiness.
Also, the sofas in the main lounge were hugely disappointing! Having looked quite comfortable in the online pictures (an important factor for us after a day out and about!) In reality they were very low and very uncomfortable!! We would have considered watching TV in bed instead but there was only the one in the lounge.
I personally experienced a couple of showers ending with very cold water, I assume due to the tank having run out of hot. There were only three of us and so I'm not sure how it would cope with a full house of six?
The ironing board, which I very much needed seemed to have gone awol! But a new one was purchased and delivered the same day, along with a new toilet seat fitted after the one in our ensuite broke following a call to Norfolk Cottages, which we very much appreciated and was excellent service!
All in all we would happily recommend Norfolk Cottages, but unfortunately Dahab wasn't for us.
Holiday in Norfolk.
We had a relaxing week's holiday self catering in a cotaage in Norfolk.

Great location
This cottage is in a great location in the centre of Mundesley with good off-street parking. Cottage is light, bright and airy. Handy to have a park within a very short walking distance for the dog. You could stay in Mundesley if wanting to just chill and relax, but it is also a good base to explore the north Norfolk coast.

Forget using them if disabled
Search and booked Holidaze House, Cromer only as said walk-in shower under accessible. Only to find the walk in accessible shower was upstairs, so was not accessible!
I highlighted to them the properties incorrect details, however not changed.
Be careful on their T&Cs
Dreadful company, not interested in you just money. Be careful on their T&Cs... If you pay a deposit you are committed to the full payment whether you go or not unless they can re-sell your booking. 30 mins on hold from being only 2nd in the queue. Very unhelpful in my view and not at all interested.
Many other sites are not like this. I will never use them again and nor will anyone i know. There are plenty of alternatives so book with someone else.

A fantastic property to rest and relax…
A fantastic property to rest and relax in that's within easy reach of other destinations within Norfolk. The house is stunning and provides everything you could possibly need.
Expected 5 star, got 2 at best.
We hired Bosuns Cottage, Wroxham and to say it was falsely advertised is an understatement.
The cleanliness level was poor, the bed sheets and towels where fresh but I had to thoroughly clean the kitchen, as the counters where sticky and dirty and then the floors, as within half hour our feet where black with dirt, in fact I had to hoover the whole house as the carpets were awful. There were huge cobwebs in every room, I appreciate there are a lot of spiders near water but that is not my issue, these cobwebs have clearly been left for months. There was a large yellow stain on the main bedroom's rug, that made the room smell like a toilet, the rug itself was sopping wet and we had to hang it outside for the duration of the holiday. The wheelie bin was overflowing, we had nowhere to put our rubbish, I contacted the landlord directly about it but sadly it remained that way and wasn't resolved by the landlord. The PVC chairs in the diner were in such a poor state that we had to cover them before seating as they left black pieces of PVC all over our skin. I had to thoroughly clean the terrace furniture and collect cigarette butts before we could use it, the outside chairs were filthy and the area a mess, we bought extra cleaning supplies to tackle this area. On the subject of filth, I found a very dirty razor in one of the shower, raising the question of whether or not the room had actually been cleaned and inspected.
This is before even getting to the fact that wallpaper was peeling, the furnishings were haggard, drawers didn't open properly, none of the extractor fans for the toilets were operational and not one single window had a blind or curtain any thicker than tracing paper so we spent the entire holiday unable to sleep past 3.30am due to sunrise. It was pretty shocking, we had to buy sleep masks for our children, not that it helped. On the subject of blinds, half of them had broken pull cords so they had to be operated by hand, not that we wanted to touch them as they were covered in dust and cobwebs, also the angled windows in the master bedroom had no blinds or curtains at all so simply let in light, and compromised privacy, permanently. The utensils in the kitchen had to be cleaned prior to use and were in need of replacement, the oven was dirty, we didn't use it because of that and the toaster was positively vile, it needs throwing in the bin. Much more eating out than anticipated was had, due to the dire state of the kitchen.
I suspect this house was lovely once but hasn't been maintained well. Honestly, I feel as if we've been ripped off, we paid over £1500 for one week (triple our monthly mortgage payment!) and expected a lovely, well-maintained house, what with it having achieved your 'Gold Star' award, and we got a dirty, rundown, haggard property that was not as advertised. Norfolk Cottages have basically said it’s my fault for not raising the issues and allowing work persons to intrude on my holiday to rectify - where they going to replace furnishings and wallpaper? I doubt it.
Absolutely shocking disregard of a customers experience, take your money and run merchants. Will not use again.
Great location and family friendly holiday accommodation.
Our holiday bungalow is in a perfect location for town and beach. It was spacious, clean and well equipped for our week’s stay. It is very family friendly.
