Staff are good but takes forever to the computer system to generate a receipt, generally avoid the store for that reason.

The new guy running your Dawson City store is trying hard and is much better than the previous manager. However, he is still learning and the problem with not enough inventory and delays in obtaining merchandise have us continuing to give most of our business to other vendors in town.

Adrien is doing a great job there on his own. No easy task

Midday Saturday we needed a specific item in order to repair our asset. We called various suppliers with none being able to support our need. I called Mr.Hyatt who was on his days off AND the store was closed. Mr.Hyatt was able to get us what we needed in a very quick manner and get our asset back to work. We saved tens of thousands of dollars with not having to wait and it was pleasing to see your employees understanding and acknowledgment of our situation. This is the main reason we do business with your store.

The guys are always good to deal with. Jeff I particular. The payment is a pain in the butt because most items do not have bar codes that can be scanned. Need to update this and get into the 20th century. This item is at a corporate level I assume.

Empoyees are helpful but The new policy and signs no employees . Blking off access to bolt bins and water fitting and everything else is a pain the *** I went in expecting to spend 500 plus on bolts but not being able to go though and pick inventory I wanted I bought a 25 cent bolt and left. Will be looking for another source which is more buyer friendly.

Good service from Doug in Terrace when walk in the door

SInce being Under New management, NIS in Dawson City has dramatically improved in both service and product availability.

The new manager, Adrien Le Diuzet, goes above and beyond to assist his customers. He continually follows up with orders and has come out to the mine site to deliver parts when needed.

I recently purchased a new welder and had a few issues with it. Adrien drove out to my mine site and fixed it after many emails consulting back and forth with Miller. He has also come out to deliver parts when they are not on time (due to no fault of his own). Adrien certainly goes above and beyond for his customers.

I will definitely use NIS for more of my purchases now due to such amazing customer service.

Occasionally I will buy a hard to find item at this store. I don't buy much here because I find the pricing not very competitive in my community. I am also appalled at the overpackaging of the most recent flyer in June 2019 wrapped in plastic. Poor environmental stewardship from this company.
