Rachel Reed, Katie Taylor, and the entire staff is amazing to work. If you want to start a business and need actual customer service, this is the place to go. The pricing is affordable, the company is adaptable, the customer-facing portal is easy-to-use and clicking thru the steps of setting up a company is very easy no matter the state.

I spent a lot of time choosing between formation services. Ultimately I went with Northwest to start my LLC because although they don't look the cheapest, they are much cheaper in the second year. They don't explain this very well on their site, but if you look at how much other companies are renovating, you'll see that Northwest doesn't bother with hidden fees. Plus, their emphasis on customer privacy is nice because you don't have to list your home address.

I wanted to use this company for my LLC formation, however, I’ve emailed several times over a month ago and haven’t received a response. Big red flag

This was a really great Customer Service experience with Madison and Haydin! I did follow up calls with Haydin, and I asked alot of detailed questions. She answered all my many questions in a friendly way and with thorough knowledge. Their focus was on what was best for my business. I was also told that the company is available for any help needed after my purchase. With such great, patient Customer Service Reps (they deserve a Raise!), great packages and a currently nicely discounted package, there is just no other company I see that is comparable.

I recently utilized Northwest Registered Agent's services, and I found their website to be user-friendly, especially as a new business owner. Initially, they appeared to be honest and reliable. However, my experience took a negative turn when I discovered their policy of holding mail hostage for a steep fee of $50 per letter. This practice is truly disheartening and unacceptable.

I’ve been using their virtual office because I do business from home and don’t want my home address out there. I read my company’s mail online on their website and they send me notices when there’s something new. They throw out the junk mail too so I don’t have to mess with that either. Great experience so far.

Logging on here to say that this company has really helped me out. I use their business address service and their mail scanning service and both of them work great. Never had a problem. Whenever I call them with a question I talk to someone right away. They don’t pass me off or tell me to call back later. I like how strait forward and easy they make things. I pay my yearly fee (which stays the same) and they do everything they say and they pick up the phone when I call.

I was registering my very first company but had issue on the website. I called one of their representatives (Allen) and he made the how process go smoothly. Highly recommend them.

I’m used to switching registered agent services every year because they all raise their price on you in the second year. I figured it was just the way things are done with registered agents. Being my own registered agent doesn’t work because I don’t want all the mail and stuff coming to my address. Well, this year is the first time I’ll have the same service two years in a row. Northwest advertises they don’t raise their prices and you could have knocked me over with a feather when they didn’t raise their prices. Honesty in the registered agent world? I’m in. Thanks for keeping your promises guys!

Easy to use and very friendly customer service. I used Zen Business for my first LLC and realized I got screwed. Way too much money for that service. Northwest Registered Agent was what it was advertised. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and more. I could not have asked for a better experience. I received all of my paperwork in 2 business days. I am going to register my register agent with my other company the day my subscription is over with Zen Business.

Fast and simple. Their Corporate Guides answered all my questions as I was kind of nervous about starting my first LLC, but turns out, it’s actually pretty easy.

The support tried to find a solution but it was too late. At the end we are humans and make mistakes. Nobody should be treated bad for one mistake.

My experience started good but went very bad. I don't know if I can trust their services because they have lost post which was delivered by UPS with tracking number. The prove is there but since weeks I'm waiting for information to get my post. First, nobody knew that anything was delivered, second, since weeks they contact their document people and no answer.
It seems that they lost the internal communication ability. Something is wrong and the danger of losing important documents must not be explained, right?

Ok I got tired of getting business mail to my home business. I run an acupuncture studio out of my house. I’m comfortable with my clients knowing where I live because a lot of them have being going to me for a long time. But I don’t want anyone to be able to find me because I’m living here by myself. So I started using NW for their address service, which gave me more privacy. (I googled “registered agent privacy” and they were one of the top listings that wasn’t a paid ad.) Now all my mail goes to the business address and I can see scanned copies in my portal. I think it’s well worth the $125 I spent.

I hired them to start an LLC for me. They started an LLC using the name I gave them. When I tried finding where the LLC is owned by me, I couldn’t find it. So I contacted an attorney and the Ohio attorney general. Both said I have no tie to this LLC and they don’t recommend putting any assets in it.
Then they tried to bill me for services I canceled after telling them I didn’t want anything to do with them because they already scammed me out of enough money.
Do not trust these people. Pay the extra for a local attorney to walk you through the process.

Leaving review because either the bad reviews are fake or left by morons. Either way, my formation experience was fantastic.

Formed my LLC in Delaware super fast. Got an EIN and didn’t have to sacrifice my home address and I didn’t have to pay extra. Their corporate guides were great answered all my questions, even though I called like 20 times and their privacy by default policy is pretty dang refreshing.

Disappointed in these folks. I used them as my RA for 3 years and they were fine, until I tried to use them to dissolve my company.

They told me I'm required to file my state's (MD) annual report before they could dissolve my company; they refused to file the company dissolution until I filed and payed the annual report. However, both my attorney and the state of Maryland said that a business can be dissolved without filing the annual report. The reason this was problematic because filing the annual report and hiring Northwest to dissolve my company would have cost me hundreds of dollars! Having to close my business was hard enough, but to cause more financial stress by attempting to force me to pay for something that was totally unnecessary is egregious. I ended up filing a non-expedited dissolution myself for free.

This is a shame, because Northwest does have friendly representatives, but giving advice that would needlessly cost a client hundreds of dollars is unforgivable.

I respect the reviews of those who had more positive experiences, but I can't see me using them again.

This company employs false advertising to get additional funds from its customer base. It claims it has an address that can be used in paperwork to file with the IRS, an essential component of maintaining appropriate distance between one’s LLC and the IRS. They make you pay a fee to use this address and then turn around and tell you the IRS has flagged the address as fraudulent in paperwork. AVOID this company and their scams. This is just one instance I encountered.
