Hi all. It's now been just over a month since I had my hair transplant with Now Hair and I have to say, I genuinely couldn't be happier!
I was constantly second guessing whether I should get it done at all, should I get it done here in the UK or in Turkey, which clinic is the best.... we've all been there right? Well I can honestly say, I'm sooo so glad that I went with NOW Hair!! From my initial call with John I knew I was in the right hands. Such a genuine guy, completely understood my hesitation, didn't push me at all which was really refreshing and appreciated. He talked me through everything with patience and compassion and once I'd made the decision to go with him and his team, he was there with me every step of the way. So I'd booked my surgery for the 1st December 2024. Up until the date came, John stayed in touch, making sure that I was ok, that I was prepared with all the relevent steps to ensure a great surgery, he kept me on track.

The day of the surgery: I'd walked into the clinic and sat in the reception area with 4 other people also in for the same procedure. Not even 10 minutes later, I was greeted by Dr. Shuaib and his team who would be performing the transplant. In a private room, Dr. Shuaib firstly went through everything with me and collaboratively drew out where the implants would be ensuring I was happy with the goal. Dr.Shuaib was great!! He fully understood and saw exactly where all my balding spots were and immediately started to draw out where and what needed to be done. I was in awe at how accurate he was, knowing exactly where my biggest aches were with my thinning hair and sure enough, he covered all bases. Of course this is expected from such a decorated doctor in the field, but to see parts that still had hair but was thinning, and tackle those areas at the same time? I couldn't be happier!
Once all agreed, I was straight in for the surgery, with no time to overthink which was great! The team were so gentle and clearly very experienced, which immediately put me at ease.

The surgery itself: initially I'd asked for my hair not to be shaved (for work purposes) but after my pre-op consultation, we agreed that I'd have a much better result if they could see what they were doing without all my hair in the way, so off it went. After shaving my hair it was time for the anesthetic....
This part was not fun, it hurt! A lot! BUT, that only lasted for around 10 minutes and from there on I literally couldn't feel a thing. No pain whatsoever! It felt like a head massage more than anything else and sure enough I'd fallen asleep. They also give you valium which probably helped me sleep and I'm someone who doesn't fall asleep easily at all.

A few hours later I wake up and ask the question "how much longer?" Only to be told 20 minutes.... fantastic!! Again, the team were so gentle and respectful that time just flew by. The surgery took 6 hours.

Post surgery: the black band was put round my head to stop the numbing/swelling dropping down into my face. I looked like the karate kid but I could deal with that lol. Another post op consultation with Dr. Shuaib to ensure I knew the steps I'd have to follow for the coming 2 weeks, with all the medication they'd provided and I was on my way home.

That's it! After building it up so much in my mind before the operation, only for it to be that seemless? I can't believe I waited so long to have it done. It's not scary at all, I promise you that.

A little after I arrived home, I received a message and call from John to make sure I was ok, and checking in on how the surgery went. Having John around before, and after the surgery was a God send. He constantly stayed in touch with me for the following 2 weeks, answering any questions I had and boy did I have a lot lol. I couldn't be more greatfull for all the help and support he provided throughout. I owe him a drink or 5!

It's now been a month since the surgery. The swelling was gone by day 3 and the scabs were gone by day 10. I'm now going though the 'ugly ducking' phase where the implanted hair is falling out which is expected but it's fine. You can wear a baseball cap after 2 weeks to hide that which is perfect!

I really want to thank John, Carl, Dr. Shuaib and all his team for everything. I genuinely couldn't have asked for a better team to do this for me, and in my home country! Thank you all soo so much!!

The result? Before my hair started to shed, you get a rough idea if how it's going to look when it grows out and boy I can't wait to be rocking this new hairline I know is coming lol.

John has been fantastic from our very first phone call, right up until weeks after my procedure. The communication has been extremely reassuring from both John and Kerry, always available to answer any questions or concerns that I had.
The procedure itself was stress free and went very smoothly and I felt I was really looked after.
2 months post procedure and John is still checking that everything is ok and still offering after care advice. I couldn’t ask for better aftercare.

Nice people to deal with and very knowledgeable, great at explaining every detail.
Great customer service from start to finish. Still early days in my treatment, but everything going as planned. Looking forward to seeing the results it the months ahead.

I spent 12 months doing the research, the pros and cons of clinics in the UK and Turkey, and I’m so happy I decided on Now Hair.
From my very first contact with there consultant John Davey I was put at ease, answering any question I put his way.
I was fully briefed by the day of the procedure, and pleased to say everything went just like clockwork. The staff at the clinic are all very friendly and professional and they take great care of you. There are no language barriers, which is very reassuring on the day.
Following the procedure John is in contact daily, checking progress pictures and answering any questions I had. I really didn’t expect that level of customer service once the procedure had been done, John’s been fantastic. I’m certain no foreign clinic will be able to offer this level of after care.
Im so happy with my choice of clinic, and beyond excited to see my future results. 10/10

If your looking for a hair transplant this is the place to go! On the day of the surgey I was nervous but I was welcomed by polite and professional staff, in the treatment room I was told if I can get through the next 5 minutes of anesthetic injections the rest of the day will be a breeze, and it sure was I'm only 8 day in but most of the scabs have come off and my head is healing perfectly

Also to mention John Davey who has been incredible! checking in with me everyday making sure the recovery is going well, and all the after care questions I needed answers to John always replied almost straight away to give me the help I needed,

After my surgery, I received a text message from Kerry asking how I was, what to expect and offering a call in the morning. This was very much appreciated after the long day I had surgery - it certainly helped my mood knowing someone was there to chat too.

I am now nearly 3 years on from having my transplant. The results are still amazing. I genuinely still to this day am grateful I took the step to contact Scott at Now hair and will be the best thing I ever did.

I still speak to Scott now and again and can honestly say the after care from top to bottom is top class.

I would genuinely recommend getting there hair done if they are thinking about it, ESPECIALLY with Now Hair if you want amazing results!

From first enquiry to way past the transplant date the support I've had from both John and Kerry has been brilliant. They're super friendly and not pushy at all. Everyone at the clinic were super friendly and very professional. The clinic was clean and well presented. If you're considering going aboard, don't. It's much safer and more professional here and similar pricing. Its been nearly 3 weeks since my transplant and I'm super happy with the results so far. I’d thoroughly recommend Now Hair for anybody looking at a Hair, Beard or Eyebrow transplant. I’d been looking at a potential Hair Transplant for a few years and saw on Facebook that Now had excellent reviews, so I got in touch via the online enquiry. Within a couple of hours on a Sunday evening Karl got in touch with me and I spoke to him the next day on the phone. Karl was super helpful and honest, and he took me through all the details including looking at my current hair photos. Now was by the most competitive company I had approached about a Transplant and offered more in terms of product and service also. They had slots available within a few weeks so I decided to book. Ahead of the surgery day I was provided lots of information via email and an online portal about pre and post op steps so I felt armed with info ahead of the day. The day itself was very thorough and all the staff were really nice, taking through everything step by step. With my hair I required additional grafts and this was done at no extra cost with the surgeons really taking their time to do the best quality job possible. Even before I arrived home that evening I already had a message from Kerry asking me about the day, and from there she contacted me daily to check in on progress and make sure I was ok. She was super helpful and reassuring throughout the healing period after the surgery, giving me great advice in addition to the info I had been provided with. Within 12 days my head had healed and Karl took me through the next few weeks and next steps. I’ve also been given great aftercare tips so I can hopefully maintain my new hairline. Great experience all round.

From the initial contact with Karl, who I have to say has a wealth of knowledge on this subject and definitely not a salesperson. He will give you everything you need to know and follow it up in writing.
The next stage is the transplant. It’s a nervous day for sure but it goes in super quick. The staff are amazing and make you feel at ease.
Then there’s the aftercare. Kerry is unbelievably on the case, she even called me in a Sunday whilst at birthday party with her kid. She is super friendly and agains follows every call up with a txt afterwards.
This is a big thing in your life and there are so many surgeries doing transplants now so it’s hard to pick the right one.
I can assure you this is the one. Faultless.

I have had a hair transplant and have had outstanding support throughout the entire process. Karl takes customer care to a different level; he is extremely professional and knowledgeable.
I honestly don’t think anyone in this industry is doing anything quite as polished as these guys are.

Still early days yet but the surgery went through fine,easy to deal with from the get go and aftercare has been spot on,kerry (in charge of my aftercare) was in touch with me every day to guide me through the process,would reccomend

Was apprehensive in my search for a provider to go through. Ultimately trusted in the reviews and verified business recommendation. Glad I did.

Walked in thinking I'd get the partial shave but just rolled the dice and within ten minutes realised the buzzcut would just be better.

The day was quick and I can't say painless but definitely not enough that anyone should be put off. There's some not so fun bits but as an investment in yourself it's a no brainer! I drove myself home afterwards. Wasn't fun and would probably advise just getting someone to pick you up. Make sure you eat plenty for breakfast. I went a little light and regret it.

I opted for the plasma injections to help the healing and again, felt like I got my moneys worth. I stuck to the protocols and within 14 days (I'd recommend taking this amount of time off work) I went from a balloon head to a healed up.l scabless member of an infantry unit with a cracking hairline.

After care from day 2 post op to 14 was amazing. Kerry constantly checked in, gave me all the info, answered concerns I reached out with promptly and made me feel like I wasn't alone. Really can't stress enough that you'll be inside for 14 days if you follow protocol perfectly... have a plan have things you've prepared to do. Make sure you check in with people if you live alone.

I had Karl keeping in touch before and after top bloke. Again reached out and replied to any queries.

Should add I went through the service based in Manchester.

Anyone on the fence just go get it done.

I'm 3 weeks into my recovery so, reviewing the service, not so far, the end result.
Karl from the outset, was matter of fact and, importantly, not at all pushy. The scope of result I could expect was not overstated to try to get me signed on and, he left me alone until I contacted him again to discuss booking a date.
The clinic itself instilled confidence, lots of staff and, the pre surgery consultation was thorough.
The actual procedure was painless, once the anaesthetic was administered and, was painstakingly long.
Post op, I've been supplying pictures of my scalp and getting care advice tailored to my progress.
All healed up now and playing the waiting game
