Just had my insulation fitted by Kelvin and his team . Arrived on time and straight on the job . Very professional and kept clean as they went . Saw the job when finished looks good and could feel the heat in the attic already . Will see now over tge next couple offcdays

constant cold calls and will not stop in-spite of being constantly requested to do so.
Already on TPS so passed over to the ICO

Marvin & Alix were very polite & efficient, they let me know when they was running late and explained the process to me along the way. I am really pleased with the work and the company, thank you

Employ high pressure sales techniques - avoid. Insisted that my partner had to be there for the survey, which was an alarm bell. Said they would not do the survey without her there and "that was one of the conditions of the survey" - I told them to cancel. I have been a sales and commercial director for over 35 years and recognise poor and underhand practice when i see it. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Friendly, efficient and totally skilled in doing a perfect job. Highly recommended.

I'm feeling much warmer

We had the insulation fitted in October 2025 and on the .January 2026 Ian (from Nutec)called in to inspect the fitting of the insulation and found that it required some additional work.
Ian and Lee came 3 days later and rectified the problem. We can not fault the service the company provided and we would gladly recommend them.

1 star is really too many, anything and everything started and finished ( at least Nutec, thought it was finished) went badly and even dangerously wrong.
Their surveyor did a very thorough loft survey, which according to readings and video pronounced our loft as in a dangerous and toxic state, with added pressure regarding EPC ratings, being so important for future sale etc etc. Must admit to being very naïve and concerned as I am in the throes of a very serious lung illness. So we did indeed sign up, lots of warning bells, "Oh the Wolverhampton team are available tomorrow", our fault for not thinking straight. Anyway they came 3 lads in un unmarked hire van, 2 hours late, lots of banging about, and advised they had to leave early to get back, very short session. Asked to come back next day, agreed on 11am as hospital appointment. Rushed back only to have them turn up 2.30 pm, bags of "toxic waste" on drive and them shut loft door to say all done. All of both visits no health equipment, only face masks for 2, one the leader not even a mask. Coughing and choking all though the insulation visits.Bomb site on having a look, mess like you could not believe, boards that were in place now not, loft light broken (not advised) etc. Biggest worry they had wrapped our gas boiler in foil only front numbers showing, staggered. Contacted Nutec to complain in no uncertain terms, " don't worry we have a really good Wakefield team", who's leader Marvin turned up. Nice lad who appeared genuinely concerned, agreed with all our concerns, even said that team will not be with us after this. Lots of cleaning, and came to point out a big area that should not have been wrapped and a big area not wrapped that should have been, then even he failed, agreed boiler should not have been left as was, only to pull it back and still have it wrapped around sides. More complaint as regs say a 60m.m gap at least around boiler for safety, no heat or fume build up, and of course gas engineer visits. Marvin just said, " well how do you want it doing" we were lost for words. Did as we requested to gas regs. How many people, clients who have paid a very big sum, do not know what they have in their lofts after Nutec insulation wrapping??? Nutec, if you ever get to speak to the same person, or more importantly a person who makes things happen ie Ms Ana Shinh Installations and Admin Manager, constantly ignores messages, but have not yet have found how to get to the Managing Director Mr Robert Fodor. Still awaiting surveyors video and written evidence which was promised by Ms Shinh upon payment. Even the surveyor has not responded since. A NOT RECOMMENDED COMPANY, WE STILL DO NOT TRUST WHAT WE HAVE UP THERE.NEVER KNOWN ANOTHER COMPANY SUCH AS NUTEC.
As a P.S.sad to say but no surprise as of today 3rd February still no video and written evidence of our loft issues, both Nutec and their surveyor are ignoring our requests for this promised information. PLEASE READ REVIEWS BEFORE YOU CHOOSE YOUR LOFT INSULATION COMPANY, WISH WE HAD, AND DO NOT FEEL RUSHED, OR PRESSURED.
PPS, as of 10/02/2026, still waiting for information promised on completion of payment, not even replies to emails to Ms Ana Shinh, admin and installations manager. Can only conclude not interested or no good in that role. Sadly thinking our 25 year warranty will be of no use as this company will most likely be not around, or at least not under this name. PLEASE NOTE, UNLIKE POSITIVE COMMENTS, REVIEWS, NOT ONE COMMENT REGARDING THIS REVIEW FROM NUTEC????

I received a call from this company to check my loft. I agreed and an engineer visited and told me I needed all manner of things doing to make my loft meet government standards. I paid a deposit of £300 for a job that was going to cost £3,000. I decided to get a roof expert to slso check and was informed there was nothing b wrong with the insulation I already had. I therefore request full refund. It took over a month and numerous phone calls to get my money back, since then I receive daily calls from this company despite constantly requesting they remove me from their database. AVOID they are scammers. And now to add insult to injury they have asked for information to prove my complaint is genuine and asked for my phone number. Not a chance I am nog giving them another reason to contact me with their scam.

Dan made an arrangement to inspect loft yesterday at 4pm .. no one turned up, no call, no message.. Dan followed through a few days later and a new guy did come and have a look as per the new arrangement, but in the end couldn't assist..

If I could give zero stars, I would. Nutec have still not processed my refund, and instead of resolving the issue, they keep cold‑calling to arrange yet another “survey” of our attic — something we’ve made repeatedly clear we do not want. We just want our money back and to be left alone.

To be fair, the initial rep who visited was polite and presented well. That’s where the positives end. After getting two independent quotes the next day from traditional insulation contractors, it became obvious that Nutec’s £4,700 proposal was wildly inflated. Both contractors advised simply replacing the old insulation properly, clearing the loft, and fixing a few minor issues — all for around £1,000–£1,500.

I cancelled immediately. I phoned and emailed Nutec on 27th November. I chased again on 14th December and 31st December but still no refund in sight.

Meanwhile, the calls keep coming — not to process the refund, but to push another inspection. It’s exhausting and completely unacceptable.

Nutec may well have a product they believe in, but the way they handle cancellations and refunds tells you everything you need to know. Quick to take your deposit, painfully slow to return it. My advice: get multiple quotes, explore all options, and think very carefully before handing over any money.

A 5 Star experience. Work was completed, efficiently, professionally and on time. I am happy to recommend this company and the men employed. The 2 man team had everything they needed to make this happen knowledge, tools and products. Thank you.

The Nutec staff were very professional in explaining the benefits of Nutec space wrap roof insulation. Such as, better home heating and insulation, potential improvement in epc ratings and elimination of damp and mould. Also the engineers came to do the work promptly as scheduled, carried out the work with due diligence and care and I was able to inspect the roof area to see for myself. I immediately saw a difference as opposed to insulation using spray foam , and l have noticed the upper floors feel warmer with less need to switch on the heater. Good job Nutec. I recommend using Nutec for insulation needs.

The salesman Robert Callaghan was excellent, very thorough and very informative. Pleasant manner too. I hesitated afterwards as I realised I couldnt really afford the price quoted but the price was adjusted down and I was very happy with the new quote. The fitters Kelvin and Shane were excellent, completing the job swiftly and with care. I am impressed with the look of the finished product.

My loft had severe damage due to a rat invasion and Ricky and Lukas came this morning to clean and disinfect the whole area. They were both very hardworking and determined to do a good job. I was much relieved after a long wait to at last get my loft back in use again. A grateful Thank You to both of them.

They very prompt, got the assessment on Thursday and the installation was done on Friday. The finished work is amazing my loft looks a different place now.

Had my insulation fitted yesterday after I called them for a quotation they were my third quote and were marginally cheaper than the other two but the sample I was showed was far superior to the other companies and was branded with their company name so was assured they were not fitting inferior product. I’m over the moon with the choice I made. Right from initial phone call they were brilliant. Can’t thank them enough I’m already feeling the benefit.
