Had my insulation fitted yesterday after I called them for a quotation they were my third quote and were marginally cheaper than the other two but the sample I was showed was far superior to the other companies and was branded with their company name so was assured they were not fitting inferior product. I’m over the moon with the choice I made. Right from initial phone call they were brilliant. Can’t thank them enough I’m already feeling the benefit.

From the Surveyor, Akash, to the insulation team, Ricky and Lukas, they all did a very professional job. Akash was punctual informative and very helpful explaining all the details required to make an informed decision. Ricky and Lukas were punctual and did a clean and a very good job. They explained what they were doing gave us options for the location of the storage area and worked efficiently fitting the insulation material. Cant say enought about the workman. Polite talked me through everything during the job. Once fitted I was shocked to pop my head up and feel the temperature in the room rather than cold air. Would recommend highly.

Do I trust Nutec??
Before I start, I should commend the Rep who visited my house. He presented well; informative and explained everything very well. The result, I agreed to leave a £100 deposit versus a £4,500 cost. The next day, I had two more traditional insulation contractors from a builders/tradespersons website. They both advised just replacing the old badly fitted insulation of various types instead! Costs ranged from £1,000-£1,500. This included clearing out a mass of junk stored in there for 18yrs, patching tears in roof felt & installing verge mesh to stop birds entering loft space. As a result, I immediately cancelled the Nutec booking. I phoned & emailed Nutec. No acknowledgement to my email. Needless to say, no refund within 30 days. I sent a chaser on 14th Jan following up on my 4th Dec cancellation email. Got a cursory “sorry” so, I’ll see how long the refund takes to hit my account. Thank goodness I refused the usual 10% deposit. Upshot - get multiple quotes from different types of insulation companies. Nutec obviously sell their own product. Tradesmen tend to have their preferred product but will price for a product you want. I’m not saying Nutec are bad but, why is it that companies are quick to take your money & slow to return it! It tells me something, I’ll leave you to decide but check out all options.

Ricky and lukaz were very polite and were very thorough in my loft,as I had a lot of pipes and wires around.
They had to be very carefull when in the loft so it took them more time as they had to be so carefull.
