While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

One star

One star. The assessor they sent was genuinely good — on time, professional, ex-RAF and fire service, and easy to deal with. After completing the fire risk assessments on our flats he flagged four minor points and, completely unprompted, offered to come back and check the fixes for free because he lives locally in Formby. He confirmed it in writing by text: it would still be logged as a finding to resolve, but he was happy to pop back over once it was sorted and would tell the office not to charge for his time.

That promise meant nothing once the office got involved. When the works were done, suddenly the revisit had to go through the office — and then his manager wouldn't allow it. My daughter rang Alex, explained the agreement and sent him the assessor's own message, and he still demanded payment. I never asked for the free revisit; their own assessor offered it to us in writing, and the company simply refused to honour it. I found Alex rude and only interested in the money.

Good people on the ground, badly let down by a company that won't stand behind what its own staff put in writing. I won't be using or recommending them.
