Oakleafe were invaluable in helping us with our claim following damage to our home caused by fire. They made the process much less stressful for us at what was an awful time. Leion was extremely helpful and made sure that we received everything we were entitled to.

I was introduced to Leion at Oakleafe Claims at a time when I was in despair, following flood damage to my flat and not being given the proper service by the loss adjusters engaged by my contents and buildings insurers. In both cases, after months and months, no progress had been made. Mr Leion Attard, a Director of Oakleafe Claims, then stepped in and was the most efficient, helpful agent I could have wished to meet. I received a one to one service from the company, regular updates, telephone calls answered personally and a short time afterwards, both of my Claims were settled favourably. The contents insurers even sending me compensation on top, for their delay. What I believe makes Oakleafe so special is their genuine ethos and kind support. A wonderful company to deal with. We felt totally out of our depth and overwhelmed when a property of ours had a fire, we found Oakleafe on the internet and contacted them at about 8.30 in the evening. We had a call back that same evening taking the details from us. The next day the team was at the property assessing and already putting things in place to move the claim forward.

There professionalism from the outset, has been the way the whole claim has been handled, the insurers dragged their heels, but James and Grant just got on with it. My mum unfortunately suffered a fire back in June last year. The insurers were unhelpful to say the least. I am so grateful to Oakleafe for their handling of a very complex insurance claim. The bridge, which is our only access to our property, collapsed in Storm Ciara in February 2020. At first we thought it would not be insured at all under our policy, however I found hidden well away in the small print, that the policy covered my drive. I raised a claim with the insurers who duly sent out their loss adjuster who appeared totally out of his depth, however did throw about some figures. It all became complicated when the insurer started trying to claim that we did not own the bridge as it was not shown on our title plan. This was because being a very old property, the title plan pre-dated the bridge being built. It became apparent to me that the insurer was probably trying to wriggle out of the claim as the work was going to cost a great deal more than their adjuster has first thought. I was out of my depth and very stressed and worried. Luckily a neighbour mentioned they were dealing with Oakleafe and recommended I call them which I did. From the very start Oakleafe were courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Our assessor was easy to contact, he explained everything, he listened and took on board our wishes. He dealt with the insurers, chasing them up regularly, and arguing our case. He discussed everything with me and made sure I was kept up to date regularly. I cannot praise this firm enough. Without Oakleafe, we could have ended up either having to fund the repair or replacement of the bridge ourselves, or face a costly court battle to prove ownership. However, our assessor managed to negotiate a realistic settlement so we can finally move on, which has been a great relief from the worry of the past 2 years. I highly recommend this firm and cannot thank them enough for their help. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I was flooded last July causing significant damage to the ground floor of my home. The insurance company were fine to deal with but their loss adjusters were a nightmare. I felt intimidated and was treated appallingly. I contacted Oakleafe and James Christie was allocated my case. James was from the start, friendly, sympathetic and professional, he took the time to explain the process to me, making sure that I was fully informed at all stages of the claim, nothing was too much trouble. Without James' help, I would not have been able to achieve a fair settlement. The Contractors appointed by Oakleafe, NCN, were also outstanding, the Director of the company made a personal commitment to ensure that I had my home back in a livable condition by Christmas and made sure it happened, despite the apathy and incompetence of the Loss Adjusters. The support I received from both Oakleafe and NCN was superb. I can't thank James and Steven enough for all their hard work and support throughout what was an incredibly stressful time.
