As a novice I found my application for a demo account easy to process and the welcome call from Brett extremely helpful.
Its refreshing not to have the hard sell from a call centre in Cyprus!!

Great so far. Easy to set up the account which was done within 24 hours. Georgi was on the phone to help pretty quick too. I have added funds three times seamlessly but yet to withdraw. I don't think that will be an issue though. Generally I find if people have problems they are of their own making. The Android tablet app is surprisingly good and I will use that over MT4 - there is no MT5 app support. I have also used it on my phone and that is good too albeit not a patch on the tablet one. Good integration with TradingView. Note: not sure for how long but Oanda will reimburse you for a year's subscription to the Essentials package of TV. Pay for it up front (about £150), send them the invoice and they will add that amount to you account. That's a really good deal.

Update 22:14 2nd May.
Just had an AUDNZD trade wiped out by a 25 pip spread!! I accept, but really don't know why I should, that you are going to be up against the spread if you are in trade at 22:00 but 25 pips!!!! That is just taking the mickey. I am shutting my account in the morning and going elsewhere. They can have the money back for the TV account - not a problem.

Oanda have been very helpful in setting up my account and quick to respond to any questions I had. Nothing but positive experience. I Would recommend Oanda to anyone starting out and looking for a quality broker

As a UK customer, the option to have a tax-free Spread Betting account with these guys is invaluable. I trade commodities mostly: Gold, Silver, Oil (BCO & WTI), Copper & Natural Gas using Expert Advisors (AI Trading Algorithms) on MT4. They have super quick execution times and are also rolling out MT5 soon also with 1600+ Stocks which will be a welcomed addition. You can also find these guys on TradingView. Customer Service is consistently fabulous!
