I’ve been stitched up just like everyone else on here. Promised a 50th birthday gift I ordered 9 weeks in advance . Left a negative review and then got a phone straightaway asking me to
Take it down promising me my goods would be delivered. Just to be strung along and lied to. They seem to be well experienced in this ordeal having several different companies under their names . I got a refund for a plate under the name of peacock
And flamingos Ltd . Looks like they know how to work the system take peoples money and live off that telling them lies and with no care in the r we told how that spoils birthdays and the distress it causes. I like all the others have to wait for my money hopefully to be refunded back to me. These people own numerous companies many have gone into liquidation please google the company and see what other Companies they have directed and put into liquidation. they are all registered at the same address . I will be wary these two experienced business owners !

Pre ordered a beautiful set of wizard of oz garden ornaments in December 2022. Knew from get go that they would not get to me until late January early February 2023. In February was told that the stock had been damaged in transit so they had to send them back. Every step was clearly sent in emails & to aid my disappointment they gave me a £25 voucher. Was informed may would be when I would receive them. We are now in may & being close to the end of the month I messaged them through their Facebook account to be told they would look into my request. One hour later I receive an email to say they have ceased trading & as they are a small family run business they have no money & are in debt etc. I try to message about my money being returned as it was a total of £95 to find I am blocked from their page. Luckily PayPal are on the case as I used their pay in 3 option. Am actually very disappointed by how I've been treated it all seems very suspicious.

Ordered Wizard of Oz Garden Ornaments back in December 2022, with expected delivery Feb 23, then got email saying stock was not up to scratch due to corrosion, so more due May, then got put back again, then got the same email saying they are closed, and I have to recover the monies myself, not they are refunding the money as a good company should do, hopefully everyone that is in the same boat can recover their money, as was not a cheap purchase!

If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid avoid avoid avoid. Purchased some garden ornaments, Wallace and Gromit type back in January 23. Been in regular contact with Olive & sage, to be repeatedly told that they were waiting for stock and they will be delivered the following week. Contacted again this week had no reply until we received the standard email outlining. They’ve been targeted , 80% of their stock has been stolen. the police were unhelpful and the insurance company were complicated, I just feel it’s been an absolute scam. This review probably won’t hurt Olive and sage If they’ve already ceased trading looking at more recent reviews, it would appear they’ve just carried on taking peoples money knowing they can’t fulfil the orders which to me is dishonest and the police should be investigating their company for fraud.

Liars. Pre-ordered garden Wallace in December. Had several replies to messages saying they would deliver asap once they had stock. Excuse after excuse. Glad I paid with PayPal, money refunded very quickly. Would have been more difficult to claim back from bank.

I have had presents and ordered from olive and sage it was a good company I ordered on 11 may and waited couldn’t contact and got answer phone I go the message like several people and was lucky I payed through PayPal I’m not sure what happened as I’ve had no trouble before and they do sell lovely products

Emailed them on Tuesday because of a late delivery
Reply was they've a backlog of orders and will send out my order with UPS with email tracking
Email yesterday stated they have ceased trading
They've advised me to contact my bank

I have been contacted by Trustpilot regarding my original review as there were certain phrases they felt were defamatory towards this company, therefore this review is an amended version. However it does not negate that the detail of my original review was factual. I placed an order for a floor lamp costing £265.50 In February for delivery in April. When I didn’t receive any updates I followed up my order. The company were impossible to contact. When they did get in touch they said the item was delayed. Eventually I cancelled the item. They told me they issued me a refund, but I did not receive any money back because they had not processed my refund. I like many others then received an email to say they had ceased trading due to theft etc. Why did this company keep taking orders, avoid responding & use delay tactics?? They deserve zero stars. Further more they will probably start trading again under another name. Folks need to watch out for this & beware.

Absolute disgrace they took My £295 in march and iv been waiting for my gold leaf palm lamp since! Had a feeling when I contacted them last week something like this would happen I should of asked for a refund then !!! Absolute joke of a company with excuse after excuse .

I ordered the palm tree lamp in January and was told it would arrive at the end of April. Kept emailing them and got numerous reply’s saying they are delayed and would arrive in May. I received an email yesterday telling me they are not trading anymore and to claim my money back from PayPal. I think they new when they took my money in January that I would not be receiving my lamp. I feel robbed 😡

Always been happy in the past and had many items from them. Like many I have been waiting on an order since beginning of March and had emails about stock issues. Just had the email about cease trading I payed with PayPal and was refunded instantly so I hope that others will be able to get refunds.

Warning! Do not place an order 🆘I placed an order in April, have had emails with dire excuses as to why it’s not been delivered. Stocktaking, rearranging the warehouse etc then today received an email to say they were ceasing trading due to theft and ironically I feel they have robbed me as there will be no refund I have to pursue it with my bank.

Same story with me. Empty promises since Jan 23! ....As i trusted the guy the credit card company closed my initial claim back in Feb, so cannot even claim anymore.... £250 down the pan. When will we all get bored of internet companies and go back to shops for tangible products...

I’ve ordered from them before (2020 and 2021) and had no issues at all- but this time (April 2023) they never dispatched the order and now they were apparently robbed and I have to sort out claiming my lost money back. Their website is at least down but this is the most absurd company going bankrupt I’ve ever dealt with.

Had some amazing stuff from the company over the years then today, boom an email that states they've finished trading, won't get money back, 'police haven't been helpful' and something terribly worded about insurance. I'm totally disgusted with a company I trusted for this. Now have to try and contact my bank to get money back, which is unlikely. But feels like they've taken my money and ran with it, especially as I purchased two days ago from them and people here today are writing they've been waiting months for goods from them. Am disgusted and appalled. Feeling scammed since the least they could do was return our money!

Same as others on here. I ordered some Wizard of Oz garden ornaments in December in pre order for arrival February. Then got told the goods arrived wet damaged and would be reordered for arrival May.
They gave me a voucher as compensation so ordered something else which did arrive.
Got email yesterday after chasing the original order saying that they were awaiting delivery still.
Now received the email about the thefts and fraud that has made the company cease trading. I need to contact my bank but am concerned it's too long after the order. Not happy at all.

Waiting on an order that was placed 8/5. They won’t answer calls or emails. Reading other recent reviews, it would appear that there is no chance of getting the item or money refunded. Will contact the bank. They should be refunding money to people. Disgusting.

Purchased an Apothecary cabinet on 31st March and still not received it. Just been emailed to say they've ceased trading and now £435 out of pocket. AVOID!

I ordered item end of April, for five to seven day delivery. I took of bank Holidays. I recently contacted them as my order had still not arrived. Had an email back with an apology, stating that the order would be in on Thursday 18th May to be sent out the following day. Still nothing came. I have just received an email stating that due to circumstances out of their control and theft of 80% of their goods that they have tried to retrieve they are closing their business. State police haven't helped. Informing me to contact my payment provider. Initially I felt sympathetic towards them. But somethings niggling me due to the content of their previous email.
I am putting this on to inform people in case they place orders and lose their monies, because some payment providers won't pay back monies under £100 pounds. Praying mine does as I cannot afford to lose my money.

Have just received the following email from Olive and Sage regarding an order I placed last week:

'We are so sorry to have to contact you in this way.

Due to circumstances out of our control, including theft of 80% of our stock as well as other illegal activities against us, we are sorry to advise that we are going to have to cease trading.

We have tried our very hardest to retrieve the stock and replenish what is required to carry on trading but it is now impossible to back date what is required and maintain the business. The police haven’t been helpful and insurance is complication and long winded.

We need to advise that you should contact your payment provider to claim monies owed.

We have spent 20 years building up Olive & Sage and along the way, have met some amazing customers. We sincerely thank everyone for their custom and we are so very sorry to be in this situation.

As a family business, the circumstances we find ourselves in has taken a major toll on us physically, mentally and financially and we no longer have the resources to continue.

Thank you for your understanding at this traumatic time.

I have reported this to Paypal but it seems that this company is clearly fraudulent. Be very aware and avoid ordering from them.
