Lovely bath 1500 x 800, ideal for our narrow on-suite.
Overall straight forward transaction, delivered quickly with no fuss.
Dropped a star because I would have had the model with the wider long side ledge, not clear when ordering, heard it verbally when watching their videos after receiving bath

Ollie made the experience great. He was so helpful and answered all my questions very quickly and very often after hours. He's an asset to the business. Mind you the bath isn't fitted yet but I feel optimistic ☺️

Aftercare service needed

Whilst I think this is the best small tub going, I have to say it's a lot of money for what it is. There's a lot of DIY needed; you have to fit the feet yourself (these are disappointly basic, a piece of folded fibreglass and four 6 screws), you have to drill the overflow yourself and although a video states that Omnitub will do this for you, this service isn't offered on the website. The instruction sheets offer little more than advice. I contacted the company for clarification on one of the sheets and am yet to receive a reply. The tub arrives on a large wooden pallet, which you have to dispose of yourself. I think for the money I paid, I was hoping for a better aftercare service, or any aftercare service.

The decision to require customers to fit the feet themselves is indeed a deliberate one, aimed at enhancing the tub's accessibility and ease of installation in various property layouts, including tight spaces that are often challenging to navigate. This approach allows for a reduction in the tub's overall width by approximately 45mm, facilitating smoother transportation and installation. Please be assured that the fibreglass feet, despite their simplicity in appearance, are designed and handcrafted to meet extremely high standards of durability and support.

Regarding the DIY aspect of drilling for the overflow, we made a strategic decision in January 2024 to sell our tubs without pre-drilled overflow holes. This change was implemented to offer our customers more flexibility in customising their installation and to eliminate the risks associated with incorrect drilling, which can be both costly and time-consuming to rectify. We understand the challenges this may present and are continually seeking ways to improve our guidance and support for this process.

The use of a large wooden pallet for delivery is a measure taken to ensure the safety and integrity of our tubs during transportation. While we recognise the inconvenience of disposing of the pallet, this method currently represents the best balance between protection and practicality, given the limitations of available courier services.

We strongly advise that the installation of our tubs be carried out by professional bathroom fitters or plumbers. This is to ensure that the installation meets the necessary standards of safety and functionality, as our products are not intended for DIY installation without professional oversight.

I regret to hear that your experience with our aftercare service did not meet your expectations, especially in regard to timely communication. This feedback is crucial for us, and we are committed to reviewing and enhancing our customer service processes to ensure that all enquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

Omnitub testdrive

We were able to attend the showroom to 'testdrive' the seated deep tub to see if our various injuries and new hips could cope with getting in and out! Ollie was very helpful and interesting about all the tubs they provide and how they make them. Ordering was quick and easy and the delivery prompt and painless. Our tub being plumbed in as we speak, can't wait for my first bath!
Update; I had to wait a very long time for the tub to fill sufficiently to have any sort of bath at all! Unfortunately, the volume of hot water required for this bath is considerably more than my previous, large conventional bath required and so I have to use at least two immersion heaters full, involving waiting for it to reheat so no chance of 'a quick bath'. I have expressed this to Omnitub but post-sale care is lacking. Make sure you ask about volume before purchase as I have made an expensive mistake.

Great tubs, terrible customer service.

I've purchased two of these tubs over the years. The tubs themselves are great, I love how they come in a variety of sizes to fit any awkward space, but the customer service is non existent. The last tub I bought, the pop up waste (that I purchased for an additional £120) was faulty and doesn't pop up to let the bath water out. I was told initially I would be sent a replacement from the manufacturer but it never appeared. Multiple emails and WhatsApp messages later and I eventually gave up after a few months of chasing as I just don't have the time or energy. I now mainly use the shower over the bath to avoid the hassle of having to wrestle the plug out. I'm not keen to shell out on a replacement myself given it cost so much. What a *waste*!
EDIT: To clarify I sent 3 follow up emails after not receiving the replacement part (the initial offer of a replacement part was to Omnitub's credit, prompt, but just never materialised), as well as reaching out on WhatsApp a couple months later, none of which were responded to in any way, leading me to conclude it was a lost cause and not time well spent in the midst of other renovations. The recent arrival of a house guest who wished to have a bath led me to revisit the issue that has been niggling. I would be happy to update the review if resolved as the bath tubs themselves are great but my experience with the customer service, not so much.

You can not take delivery and leave it 252 days before raising an issue on an order. Whilst I am sorry you did not receive a response to us regarding your query (I can't locate a response) We can not make an adjustment to an order that has been delivered for 252 days.

You should have checked goods well in advance of this time.

Once goods lands they need to be unpacked and checked for damages and that your order is complete. Had this step been taken it would have been able to be resolved.

I certainly can't assist with this issue now being 551 days since delivery, assuming delivery took 7 days from leaving us to landing with you.

I am sorry this has worked out this way but I am unable to assist on a matter of such an age.

It's just one WhatsApp message which has been missed which was sent on 03/03/2023. 334 Days ago. Apologies I didn't reply to this message. In regards to the email I did go to the manufacturer of the part on your behalf and did order the part to be sent to you which was acknowledged from the supplier but was not received by yourself. This then in turn did not lead to more following up from our side to the supplier in regards to the part. This was an error on our side which I have since rectified. "Terrible customer service"... We simply failed to chase up to a supplier which confirmed dispatch of the spare part. Granted that was an error. But "Terrible" seems rather harsh.

Great tub, service sucks

The tub itself is great but they put in the wrong drain-overflow combo so I had to buy another new one. I've been sending them multiple mails and a few messages on Instagram but hear nothing. I cannot recommend them due to customer service...

After seeing the reply I got in touch with omnitub for a 4th time, via whatsapp this time. I did immediately get a reply there (and they did aknowledge receiving my old message via the website form, with no reply from their side).
However, my issue has not been solved since between the time i received the order and started the renovation I did not notice they sent me the wrong product.
So, if you do decide to order here, double check what you get. Even if they hide it well under the tub in all the packaging and you have to wait for renovations. That's why I kept it safely packaged and now lost a couple hundred euros...

Great product and great service

Great product and great service. The customer service over WhatsApp is second to none. Very responsive and detailed. The courier had a bit of difficulty with their delivery schedule and even though it wasn’t Omnitub’s fault or responsibility they did a fantastic job of finding out what was going on and communicating on my behalf.

Poor delivery

I haven't had the bath fitted yet but it looks great, just what I wanted.
On the downside, I book a delivery for Friday afternoon and it didn't arrive until Tuesday morning. There was no update at all about when it was going to arrive and I emailed the company on the Monday and still haven't received a response.
Also it just being left on a pallet on the street isn't exactly great, but I suppose that's just how it comes.

In relation to delivery to Northern Ireland I can confirm it did take an extra two days to be passed through the system which can only be put down to load going from the Mainland to Northern Ireland.
