A problem occurred and the technical support people found an obscure setting in my iPhone that needed to be changed. That fixed what was a vexing problem that was not the fault of 1Sim VOIP.

After many promptings to upgrade from my old Telestial account to OneSimCard, I did so. But be careful when you do this as OneSim now gives you an Estonian primary number even when I had only a US phone number before. They give you the US number as an add-on to the primary Estonia number. So when you fund the new account, they then later ask you to pay again separately to keep the original US number. You can use the funds on the Estonia number account for minutes & data on both numbers (so they told me), but you can't use that money to pay for keeping your US (original) number. So be careful when funding the new account.
Their online help was prompt but they would not transfer over any of the new account funding I paid for keeping the original US number.
So it is tricky when you only have the account & number for say a US number and they foist the primary Estonian number onto you with the original US number as an adjunct to the Estonian account/number. I didn't think the downgrading of the primary US number is was explained clearly when changing to OneSim, which is disappointing. I have no need for an Estonian phone number, only ever wanting a US one. But obviously it works economically for OneSim to do this.
Customer service is appalling it has taken me over 6 months to be told the reason my sim card does not work in my iPhone 11 pro is because I need a new sim.
To get a new sim they want to charge me $30 as they will not issue a complimentary replacement. This is a standard service in the UK!
I have a large balance on my account because they keep telling me I have to top up the card in order to keep the balance already on it, The minimum of which is $20, even thou there is a global pandemic and no one is travelling. It no top up or lose the money on your account. Why is this not theft?
Then when I try to purchase the replacement sim they tell me I have to buy as a new transaction. I am not able to use any of my money they are holding.
And they will not refund any of the money they have on account if you cancel your account so they hold you to ransom.
These guys are only after taking ur money rather than actually giving a service or looking after their customers. I feel very let down by my experience with this company and as soon as I able to use all of the $130 they have of my hard earned cash I will be cancelling this account. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.
First real use of two-factor authentication from my US bank. Code came through extremely quickly. Seamless process and much easier than using a friend as before. Thoroughly recommended for expats everywhere.
So far so good. I bought it primarily to get 2fa messages from banks. Excellent network coverage in the Tristate area. Hope it works outside the country too especially in India.
However, the UPS package was damaged like it was dropped in a puddle and stepped over. It was partially open and even wet to touch when I picked it up. The Sim card package was also wet but the SimCard worked great.
The mail courier showed that the Sim card was delivered; however, that was an error and a OneSimCard rep was aware of the mishap. Otherwise, there were no problems.
The voIP app is really bad. It's uly, it does not load automatically all the time in the background.
I got this sim to travel to Mexico. When I got there, I couldn’t call or text. I had to buy a Mexican sim. I don’t understand why it wouldn’t work, even with the help of the phone vendor in Mexico. I also couldn’t use it with esim, which was the whole purpose of buying this expensive sim-so I didn’t have to use two phones.

Delivery was right on time. Have not tested the sim till the last day of travel.
Great concept.
Unluckily Internet is slow and not very reliable.
I use it to get bike and bicycles with rideshares and it takes ages to start one -and you need to be careful that you will be able to end the trip-.
And SMS take a lifetime to arrive, so if you want to use it for the various 2-steps authentications, you might struggle with those institutions that put a time limit to the SMS.
I read the the details on their web ,which clearly says that one europe no will be provided for a charge and one Estonian no come free. But when you try to buy the mobile no , you are offered land line options! not a mobile. When inquired will this land line no work with all the bank , paypal other sms notifications, answer was no warranty, obviously land line is not same as mobile and it will not work , I could not use the esim purchased and it was waste. I tried to contact them for a refund , but they were not interested, its a miss sell, keep out if you can and they are other options

Getting the eSim up and running on an iPhone XR was seamless
Excellent product. We received our SIM card within days of ordering.
We’ve been using a service cell provider, which has caused us a significant amount of problems to the point of losing money. We discovered OneSimCard by chance; our ability to connect and communicate when travelling within the EU and elsewhere was a motivating factor in our decision to purchase a SIM-Card from OneSimWorld. We were delighted with the high level of customer care we have received from an excellent service agent (Jonathan). This company has surpassed our expectations, and as such, I highly recommend it to both personal and business users.
The product overall is not had, but the information on the website isn't detailed enough and lack transparency. It takes a while to gather the facts.
Esim works really well. I am traveling in South America and having data without the need to swap my sim card has been great. Definitely recommend.
Website easy to navigate. Rapid delivery, too.
