I've been using online fabrics for about 4 years now and i must say they are very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
Always willing to help me with what type of materials i need,the whole team there are very polite,i definitely recommend using this company.

I needed material for upholstering banqueting chairs but wasn't sure what would be best suited for my application. The team at Tahims had been very helpful over many months as I had probably visited their Coventry showroom 20+ times , asked loads of questions and bought nothing. However every time I walked in I was always welcomed and served very well having my queries answered.

Because I wasn't sure what type of material would be best suited for my upholstery use case, online-fabrics were able to offer me many samples from the race in store, which was really useful whiten discussing with the rest of y team.

When we finally placed the order all the material arrived very swiftly within a matter of days.

We have been using Online Fabrics for many years. We have always found the customer service to be of an excellent standard. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Fabric is great quality, and we have never had any issues.

I've ordered from them twice and the fabric comes quickly and is always the fabric type I ordered but the colours both times have not been what was shown in the image. I ordered budget lace in cream and what I received was definitely white. The same happened when I ordered some chiffon in Turquoise 2 but what I received was 100% mid turquoise but when I called them about it asking about the colour they just told me no I'm looking at your order that's the colour you ordered and told me that the image is not going to be identical to what I receive which i understand buf this is obvious significant difference. So this has resulted in both times me having to purchase dyes to try to get the colour I want so that I don't waste the fabric.

First they gave tracking number and the package is in Portugal. I asked many times, why? I live in Finland. Suddenly new tracking number, but its not addressed to me. No phone number, not my name, not e-mail. Nothing. Again wrong tracking number. Nobody not answering at all. Totally scammers, cheaters and liars are there. Reclamation done to the bank. If somebody wants to waist money - go ahead. Even 1 star is bloody too much for such a stress. I have to ask back my own earned money?

I ordered fabric 19 June. After a couple of weeks the order was still in progress so I used their contact form. No reply. On 19 July I emailed the info email address and asked for refund. No reply. Thankfully I paid by PayPal so I went onto the resolution centre 30 July and got immediate refund. 31 July I got an email from this company saying they had issued my refund. 😳 I would say don't be tempted by their low prices! Not worth the annoyance!

I've not yet gotten my fabric when I ordered it on 31 May (8 working days). I never got a confirmation email, but money was taken from my PayPal. I've emailed customer services - someone got back to me and gave me a Royal Mail tracking number, but this number doesn't work!

Update:
I've now received the fabric, but it is not as long as expected and is a totally different colour and thickness than what was described and pictured on the website. Currently speaking with the company to try and get a refund.

Update #2:
No refund was ever given and no further replies were received from the company. I have lowered my rating because of this.

Order came quicker than expected. I couldn't find machine leather needles on the website so asked if they had them, could they substitute them for the jeans needles I had ordered, if the price was the same. They did this, which was very helpful.

One of the worse costumer service I have ever experienced. They take your money, send you a product that looks completely different to the picture, try to get in contact with them and they reply every 2/3 days if you are lucky, ask you to send it back covering the cost of posting yourself for a refund. I did and after 2 weeks I got the product sent back to me from Royal Mail cause they didnt collected. Three weeks in and I'm still waiting for a hint of my refund. Please save your money and time.

Credit where credits due....
Purchased leatherette and on opening 2 days later found I ordered the wrong one.
No problems with communications and after returning they shipped out a next day delivery.
Can't fault them...Top Marks!

Colours are very misleading - I ordered "teal" fleece, but the colour is dark emerald green. The "gold" was a dark mustard.

Placed an order for a large roll of black fabric. What arrived was two ‘dresses’ I think… but not what I ordered. Have emailed 3 times, and 4 days later still no reply. I just want a refund so I can order elsewhere.

I ordered leatherette fabric from this company and have to say, I have had complete satisfaction and personal customer service with numerous phone calls updating me on my transaction all the way through to delivery,
I would definitely buy again and highly recommend doing business with online fabrics UK.

I am very pleased with the quality of the gingham…the 1” square in Royal Blue. The colour is beautiful!
Arrived very quickly, was thanked for the order and informed of its dispatch. Very well packed and presented.

Bought fabric a few times and had planned to keep doing so, only there was a change in colour of one of the fabrics without mention of this being the case, and the company have refused to answer any of my emails regarding it so sadly I will have to no longer use them. I had had good correspondence with them previously so it’s a shame they couldn’t be bothered to reply
