The office staff ,Matt and Chris,were always helpful and supportive and never tried to push a sale. Victor and Dorro (installation team) professional polite and took time out to ensure we were happy. When they departed all they left behind was a great looking veranda, everything clean and tidy.

We are extremely happy with our new glass room purchased from Open Space Concepts (OSC). It looks and is absolutely amazing! The quality of the product is first class and OSC equally so. From initial quotation and survey, right through to completion, our expectations were met, our questions and queries answered quickly and diligently, and all the work was carried out professionally to an extremely high standard. We can’t recommend this company highly enough. It makes a refreshing change to deal with a company so customer focused and true to their word.

Everyone involved was polite and treated us courteously. They all instilled in us a great confidence that we were in safe hands. They handled all the materials with the greatest of care and took time to make sure very aspect of the build was perfect. They treated our home and garden with respect, tidying up as they went along and clearing away all packaging with care. Their attention to detail during installation was comfortingly impressive. Where small areas of the framework fell short of their high standards, it was photographed and the replacement parts reordered without hassle.

We approached a few companies before settling on Open Space Concepts to carry out the work. It was a big purchase for us and we didn’t want to make a mistake. We were persuaded to buy from them as they came across as the most trustworthy of the companies with which we had spoken. We were comforted by the complete lack of pressure to buy and their willingness to answer every question knowledgeably, with patience and with honesty. Any worries we had about the effect of lockdowns here and abroad, the Ukraine war etc on supplies were dealt with by regular updates. An absolute joy to deal with.

We definitely chose the right company and couldn’t be happier with the result. Open Space Concepts definitely deserves to go from strength to strength. Highly recommended.

Perfect service throughout which is a rare thing these days. The finished product looks stunning and is really good quality. There workmen are outstanding and I would thoroughly recommend these people.

We had a few discussions about what would be the right product, the surveyor suggested something slightly different, which worked perfectly. When fitted, the fitters gave me another suggestion about the electrics. So they wasn’t prepared to just install it they wanted it to look and work the best way for me

We love our new awning. From start to finish the service has been excellent. No hard sell but really a supportive team from the ordering to the fitting stage. And it looks fantastic. All we need now is the sun !!!

Open Space Concepts from the initial ordering to the installation of the awning were very professional and understanding. We were having a number of contractors working on upgrading our outside spaces. There were some conflicts in respect of when the awning could be installed and Open Space Concepts worked with us to help us progress the work on the garden before the installation of the awning. The installation team were excellent and explained how the awning was going to be installed, checking with us that we were happy with what they were going to do. The finished product is exactly what was promised from ordering to completion. I would recommend Open Space Concepts to anyone looking for a top quality product.

We are very pleased indeed with the result and of the way Open Space Concepts performed during the supply and installation of our glass room.
From making initial contact with them, to meeting our requirements and carrying out the installation, we were very impressed with their professionalism and can only praise the way they managed and undertook the whole process.
We made enquiries with other suppliers prior to contacting OSC and were concerned how the other suppliers prices kept creeping up, quite substantially after the survey, and when seeking further clarifications, this did not happen with OSC, in fact following the survey the price was adjusted down in our case. OSC also had by far, the fairer terms of payment.
We were slightly concerned with a delay due to the lockdown and shipping from Germany following the pandemic and Brexit, to which OSC kept us informed, however were very impressed and delighted to see the installation completed on schedule.
I have dealt with many contractors through my work life, from international main contracts to small utility projects, and recently for home improvement projects, I can honestly say OSC is the best company I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. From initial contact to job completion, I can only praise them for their efforts. It is like a breath of fresh air.

I can thoroughly recommend Open Space Concepts and their Glass Room product. I contacted a number of companies in search of a Glass Room, and while OSC weren’t the cheapest, their prices were reasonable, and importantly for me, there was no haggling, no need to hold out for discounts, no pressure to buy, and I wasn’t hassled for a decision. The price is the price with no hidden costs, the site survey and measuring up was really informative, catered for everything I needed and answered all my questions, and even after it had happened there was no pressure to buy.
Installation was delayed due to lockdowns in Germany where the structure is made but the manufacturer contacted me with updates so I wasn’t left wondering. Once everything arrived in the UK, installation was immediately arranged, and a team of 2 worked tirelessly to fit the Glass Room in 3 days. The team were great - they knew what they were doing, they were punctual and tidy, and cleared everything away at the end, including the small mountain of packaging. It transpired that I needed some extra lead flashing which was quickly sourced and fitted but it was subsumed in the agreed price; I didn’t have to pay extra. The glass room is a great product, well made, and looks fantastic.

So, in summary:

Not the cheapest overall, but still reasonable and you get what you pay for - easy, no pressure, well organised, great product, great sales process, very flexible, no added costs, all questions answered, great installation team who cleared up at the end - you wouldn’t have known they’d been there (apart from the appearance of a Glass Room of course!). What more could you want?

Our OSC glass veranda was installed this week. It looks amazing and it’s all we had hoped for and more! We had blinds added and it makes the space cosy and shaded. Have given 4 stars not 5 because we experienced manufacturing delays. The installation team were excellent very helpful, polite and tidy. Thank you OSC for our beautiful veranda!

Very impressed with the service I received from OSC from start to finish. The pricing model was open and transparent. We were put in touch with an existing client so that we could view a structure in situ and talk to them about their experience, which was very helpful. I was having other work done which was seriously delayed so that the structure was ready to be installed well before I was ready. Again, this proved not to be a problem and OSC were happy to work to my timescale. One or two minor issues during the installation were dealt with immediately and there was a sense throughout that pleasing the customer was an important consideration. I'm confident the after sales service will be just as good.

I have been looking around for many months to purchase an awning and i came across open space concepts i can say i was not disappointed very friendly service from point of order to the fitting, i am so pleased i just wished I order my awning earlier. I certainly would recommend them to any one. The quality of the awning is amazing, I don’t normally do reviews but i feel this company really deserves a massive 10/10 thank you.

I first started looking into some kind of covering over my patio area during the first lockdown when I was suddenly blessed with plenty of time with nothing much to do so spent most of it in the garden. The weather was extremely favourable with many sunny days. I bought a parasol to slot in the centre of my garden table, but it prove useless in providing adequate shade as the movement of the sun meant frequent adjustment of the parasol. When the weather turns the garden furniture is often covered up to protect against the elements which means it’s alway a chore to uncover the furniture especially when you know it’s only for short time. As a result the patio area is not often used. A quick google search revealed the glass veranda. I instantly took a liking to the idea of having a glass cover over the patio area allowing the garden table to be out all year round and always ready for use. The glass also allows natural light to go through which means the house will not be made darker. When I discovered they could come with blinds under the glass and drop down blinds for the front and sides I made up my mind there and then I must have one. Another Google search reveals several companies that can fit nationwide, but only Open Space Concepts gave you a price over the telephone (but I had to wait several weeks from initial inquiry to receiving the call probably a result from the sheer number of inquiries they were getting at the time) if you know the size and what you want fitted. I did get several quotes from other companies who insisted on sending their sales rep and also for some reason insisted that your spouse be present when they visit. Long story short, they were considerably more expensive than OSC. This however led me to question if OSC’s products were somehow inferior compared to the competition. My fears were swiftly dissipated after a call with one of their team members who told me the manufacturer of their products (German naturally) and after another Google search my mind was at ease. The reason why OSC can be so competitive without compromising on quality is that they don’t employ sales rep with their fancy cars nor do they have a showroom. After several further email correspondence to change size and spec which they were very happy to accommodate, I finally placed my order. OSC sent out a surveyor to make sure all was well and the structure would fit. The lead time was given at 14 to 16 weeks, but with Brexit and the pandemic with it’s lockdowns and interruptions I knew it could take longer which is understandable. I wasn’t in any rush anyway as it was still a long way from summer. After 21 weeks I finally got the email saying the veranda had arrived in their warehouse. The following week, 2 very competent and polite fitters came to put up the structure and after 3 days it was complete. To say I am pleased is really a massive understatement. The veranda oozes quality, it is as solid as can be and beautiful to look at. I simply can’t wait for the summer.
I have no hesitation in recommending OSC, they are professional, courteous and accommodating. The long wait was well worth it. I now have my perfect open space thanks to Open Space Concepts.

The choice of awnings from the point of view of styles, sizes, colours and fabrics is considerable. However the guidance over the phone was extremely helpful and really helped determine what was right for us.
The product is German and extremely well made, the delivery, service and installation was exemplary.

Overall, an excellent service from Open Space Concepts and we have no regrets in choosing them for the job. Though more expensive than some other quotes, they managed to stick to the estimated timeline of 16 weeks despite supply chain difficulties in 2021. A sales rep from another company had a lower quote with a longer timeframe and we wanted installed before the end of the year. A key factor in choosing OSC is that they have their own installation teams. Some of their competitors contract out the building work which can be problematic. Also, whenever we called their office, they were helpful and proactive.

The installation took place on a dreadful day at the end of October and the 2 man team had to abandon the job to avoid flooding. However, they returned as soon as they could the following week and worked really hard to finish it in one day. We are delighted with the result.

A couple of things to be aware of: the surveyor's information at the outset was slightly misleading in relation to what drawings would be provided for planning permission and quoted £1,000 extra for lighting which we declined. As it turned out, the structure came with a strip of LED lighting as standard, though we have put in our own softer lights. Also, it is your responsibility to put in the concrete base, electrics, tiling, etc so allow for this in your budget.

Since installation three months ago, there has been one small leak. I have sent photos and reassuringly, OSC have said that this is logged on their remedial system and will come and inspect.
