Today I came for eye test to st.enoch branch i was looked after by shiona she done my eye test and answered all the questions I asked and I was fully satisfied with all the answers and glad came here she put all my worries at rest after the test I would strongly recommend it to if you need your eyes tested they look after you well

Staff are extremely helpful, friendly and quickly put you at ease.

I wanted to leave a review for Abbie Drummond at Glasgow SVS. My dad was quite nervous about his appointment, but Abbie was incredibly kind, patient and reassuring throughout. She made him feel comfortable and at ease from the moment he arrived. Excellent customer service and a real credit to the team. Thank you, Abbie!

I want to say thank you very much to Caroline S for the support she gave me and if I knew I could do this earlier then i would have. I can see much better now and daily life is less complicated and I would recommend that if you choose to get laser eye surgery you should come here and go see Caroline at Norwich optical express.

The care that I received before, during and after my lens replacement surgery was exceptional. Everyone was very helpful, friendly, caring and reassuring. There was no pain during surgery and the sight in both eyes is now amazing.

I had lens replacement surgery at Birmingham's optical express and the staff there were lovely from start to finish. Surgery went really well and the aftercare was great. The only criticism I have is that the brochure spoke about the provision of a mild sedative to ease anxiety around eye surgery. When asked, the surgeon would not provide this. Luckily I had an understanding GP who was great and did prescribe for me. Other than this, I would highly recommend. Ps do not look up surgery videos until after you E had it done! Ignorance IS bliss in this case.

Ok. My story. Specsavers confirmed a cataract in my right eye. I am 65. I took advantage of the Optical Express's free consultation in Hull. They were good, and explained everything to me. Job done I went back to Specsavers and said I wanted an NHS referral. The NHS said I could choose the clinic with the shortest waiting time. This was a private clinic in Hull. I went there and they said I could have the one eye done with the NHS in 4 months time, and the other with them privately, but not on the same day, some weeks later. I didn't 'take' to them as they appeared indifferent to my needs, and a little pushy. I went back to Optical Express and booked bi-lateral surgery (both eyes same day) to have mono focal lenses inserted, in Manchester.
Now, here's the thing. I have been wearing glasses for 60 years. I am (was) short-sighted until less than 48 hours ago. I REPEAT.. 48 hours ago.
Now, I am squeamish about eyes, and I was apprehensive, bricking it to be frank, But knew the cataract had to be done. On Tuesday (today's Thursday) I went to surgery (still bricking it inside). The staff, and surgeon, Mr Riaz, we're A1 excellent, explaining everything and putting me at ease. Very professional. Right eye first. Absolutely No Pain at all, just that 'weird feeling' that something was happening. 10 minutes later the left eye. Drops are administered beforehand and drops after.
So... Did it work? My goodness yes. I have 100% crystal clear vision less than 24 hours later. So much so I think my brain cannot comprehend it. I haven't worn contact lenses for years, but keep thinking I have to take them out! It's so weird. I've read that people wished they'd had it done sooner. I see why now. Don't delay, do it. It's the best decision you will make. Optical express, thank you. I didn't expect it to be so good.
BTW... I'm not working on commission!

Both my husband and I, after many months of deliberation and talking to Optical Express staff at the Maidstone based premises we opted for eye procedures for both eyes each. It’s not just the results but the continued, genuine application throughout from Heather , our first point of contact and Adrian on reception who are amazing , informative and so very courteous at every visit. This is, let me assure you the real deal, professional throughout, pleasant and very helpful. I found their input and information sharing enabled me to prep myself for next stage procedures .Excellent medical staff willing to help and inform you which has a calming effect whilst you are in their hands. The aftercare staff are equally impressive, the opticians must be the best there are as I can't imagine anything else you'd require, my optician contact named Lubna was of the highest calibre and helped me a great deal, yes, without doubt, service and staff is highly recommendable. Well done team Optical Express.

Went to the Edgbaston Road clinic for a laser eye surgery consultation. Lorna was brilliant. Incredibly friendly and patient throughout. It’s a long process but it felt relaxed and comfortable. All of the staff are knowledgeable and happy to answer questions, I never felt pressured to commit to anything and was given the freedom to explore all of my options.

At Optical express Birmingham everything was very professional and friendly. Everything wet very well.
I would recommend them.
