Great Experience with Opticsfast

I have to say that I read many negative reviews yet my experience was very positive. I was informed of every step in the process and received answers to almost every question promptly. To start, I inquired about the repair service and once I agreed, I received a pre-paid mailing label to ship the glasses to them. I submitted a designer frame to be repaired. Within 3 days, I received a detailed breakdown of what needs to be done for my inspection and payment. I did opt for a warrantee on the repair so I will let you know how that works out. Once I paid, a reasonable price I must add, the repair took 13 days from the moment I paid until I received the glasses in my mailbox. I was very happy with the repair. They re-attached the arm to the main frame maintaining the full functionality of the spring action. The glasses were cleaned and polished (I paid for a full cleaning). I was surprised that they said to carefully wrap the glasses and I received the eyeglass case floating in a box without additional packing. A small complaint considering the quality of repair.
I am very happy with OpticsFast and I plan on using them again if the need arises. I was not solicited to write this review and I'm happy about that too!

They are the worst

They are the worst. The customer care service is horrible I had misunderstood something about shipping and wanted verification the lady was rude on the 15 th of March 2017 and said Jackie who was assigned to my order had gone home and I should speak to her on email. She wouldn't entertain me when I was trying to explain my situation. I got agitated at her conduct and when I confronted her she hung up on me. I called again she was still rude. I figured she picked I was African from my accent and she didn't have interest dealing or serving black people. I then called customer service again, this time a guy answered and was eating on the other end of the line and I could hear him chewing and speaking in between the eating and I couldn't quite hear him. I give up on opticsFast. The glasses have just arrived after 15 whole days and I thank God because I wasn't even sure I would get them. This is the first time I'm receiving glasses without a cloth for cleaning them or care instructions. OpticsFast is a no no for me next time. Please people run for your life

Do not do business

This place is so un perffesionalI!!sent two pairs of expensive sun and they replaced both pairs with cheap purple after market lenes. I was told they would use all original lenses. I was ripped off do not waist your money or time. This place sucks!!! I also received an email saying if i dididn't pay the invoice asap they would dispose of my eyeglass!!

Crooks!

These people lie, cheat and steal. Will not stop bothering me, text, email, phone calls. Harassment is an understatment. I have no idea how they stay in business.

I would highly recommend you remove this review right now. THIS IS THE EMAIL I RECEIVED AFTER I WROTE MY REVIEW AND THIS SAME MAN I SPOKE WITH BY THE NAME OF ALEX IS CALLING MY PHONE FROM. (866) 216-3478 but putting *67 in front of it to call restricted. Dumb azz! Everyone knows that blocks your number! Lol

Be VERY VERY Careful in dealing with OpticsFast

I was promised a $5.00 discount on the cost of my eyeglass repair. The discount was never given. Multiple emails to the company did not resolve the issue.

In addition, somehow between the time of them telling me that the cost of my eye glass repair would be $50.00, I found that my credit card was charged $65.00.

Be VERY VERY Careful in dealing with OpticsFast.

Great Experience!

Got my glasses today. Customer service was always really helpful. Glasses are right, frames and size are right, and cost was very reasonable. I've ordered glasses from multiple sites over the years, this was by far the most personalized. Everything was perfect. Definitely will use them again.

Fraudulent Outfit

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Fraudulent outfit. They attempted to double bill me on shipping. They also tried adding charges for services that I did not want. When I called customer service, they were rude and aggressive to the point of trying to bully me. The service representative even dropped the F-bomb a couple of times when he was having problems with his computer. When I finally received my glasses back, they did not complete all of the repairs that were paid for. I notified my credit card company. Also, several attempts of credit card fraud were attempted on the card which I used for the transaction shortly after. Never had a problem before. It is a Brooklyn NY based "company".

Don't buy from these crooks

I ordered a pair of sunglasses and paid extra for overnight delivery. When they did not arrive, I called and was told that it takes 5-7 days just to process the order before shipping!! I said this was not communicated when I ordered and, since the order had not even been processed, much less shipped, I wanted to cancel. I was told I could not cancel. The person on the phone was arrogant and treated me like I was stupid for not knowing that they take so long to process an order.

Solicitors not professionals

What and who the hell are these people?!?!? Same day we place an order to repair the glasses we receive an email wanting to hire salespeople!! Then the order takes FAR longer than expected, delivered finally but repairs not all completed, and then receive an email from the salesperson asking for a TIP!!!!!!!! WTH??? This is NOT a professional organization by any stretch of the imagination.

Optics Fast Inc OpticsFast.com and Becky S. Stole My Glasses

I sent my glasses in for repair for $40 quote.
Once I sent in glasses, I received email back demanding $139 for repair. I refused to pay bill. Opticsfast.com then quoted me $90.
I refused to pay any more than $40.
Opticsfast demanded $19 to to ship glasses back. I paid $19 using Visa.
3 weeks, 105 emails later - still no glasses returned.
I have filed complaint against OpticsFast with Visa.
Based on these reviews, I am pretty sure I will never see my glasses again.

Total scam of the elderly

I sent in my older pair of glasses for an arm repair. I was quoted $40 and then when they were quoted it was $137.00. But I wanted them fixed. I just wanted a pair of good glasses in case something happened with my contacts. I got the glasses yesterday the arm was fixed but they had replaced my lens with clear plastic. I am so devastated and feel so violated and then I get a 50% off coupon for a new prescription. They went to all the trouble to replace with clear plastic and tell me they didn't do it. Told me they were received that way. Now after many e-mails I am told it was a mistake. It wasn't a mistake. It was a scam all along. I just want my lens back. I would have to go without contacts for about a month to get an accurate prescription and I have no glasses that I can use. What a mean, evil thing to do to people. I shouldn't have been so trusting. I am going to complain to the attorney general in NY but for now I want people to know what they did to me. They go to so much trouble to cheat.

Bait and Switch and Rude Customer Service

This is a scam company. I discovered only after I had already shipped my glasses for repair. Prior to sending my glasses in for repair,I was given a quote of $40 but when I sent in my glasses they told me it would be $129.97 plus shipping. I happened to read the negative reviews before I authorized the service, thankfully, so I was lucky to only be defrauded of $12 shipping charges and got my property back intact. This was only after threatening dispute the charges with my credit card company (this is death to an internet company and though they threatened to not send my glasses back if I did not pay my invoice, they finally did once I said I would contact my credit card company and dispute charges - I would highly recommend doing that too if the product/service you were given was not as advertised). Originally I wanted to pay by Paypal as there is buyer protection but I was told their account had been suspended (despite advertising on their website that says it's an accepted form of payment and they are Paypal Verified.)

The customer service is rude and threatening - here are the responses I received after I paid for the shipping and asked them why the USPS website was showing my package was not yet received when I was tracking it:

"Lets wait until FRIDAY if you dont see movement we will refund you.
keep in mind. If you dispute then our relationship ends and the $500 insurance I have on the box incase lost I will then take for myself and not give you anything. be carefull with what you do. You have been warned."

Also this response:
"How do you know anything about my operation? How do you know I don’t make the labels in my office and then a runner drops them to a shipper at night who packs them the next day and then delivers them to the post office the following day? You don’t.. So STFU, keep your mouth and your threats in check."

Do not do business with them and report to Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, and State Attorney General's Office.

becky is rude a liar and i would never buy anything

She emailed me on sunglasses I wanted to purchase she said she would price match then she said she would beat the price I told her where I was going to buy them from for 70 dollars less than what she has them for both authentic Oakley's and then she told me to disappear that the other company sold fakes that there reviews were a lie she is a liar and I will never go back to that website again.

RUDE

I called OpticsFast for a competitive quote and found them to be rude. Further I received an email from them saying they are too busy to talk, they only provide discounts for big VOLUME.

Please don't make the mistake of dealing with this company.

Very Rude Customer Service

This is a complete shame! I bought frames through this company. I didn't receive a receipt and the customer representative was rude and obnoxious that she basically told me that if I sent the frames back she would make sure they got lost so I couldn't get a refund.... Very Rude terrible people!!!
