The Worst

Below zero !!!

I requested a quote on a pair of DKNY Frames which they did not have ... they tried to convince me to purchase another style which I wasn't interested in ... they repeated sent me messages for over two weeks now after I told them many times this was my last reply to their questions ... finally I got a note from Becky asking me for a "tip" for all the work she's done for me even thou I purchased nothing from them ! I'm still getting a daily message from this crazy company even thou I've moved on and bought 2 new pairs of glasses locally !!! They are a crazy company don't even ask them a question otherwise order anything from them .... BEWARE !!!

Terrible Buyer beware

I purchased frames from them, It took two weeks before they informed me that this was a discontinued frame. It has been another 3 weeks I asked to cancel order as they did not have what I was looking for. They still have not sent my money back funny though they processed it as if they had the frames. so 5 weeks and still no return on my money. Unbelievable.

Complete Rip Off

Was quoted a price of double what I was given in a brick and mortar store.
When asked to have glasses mailed was told would cost $14.95. Told the "friendly" customer service woman it only cost me $2.36 to ship them.
She said they use a separate shipping company. I used one also. It is called the United States Postal Service.

Don't use this service

Unfortunately I did not check this site first before contacting OpticsFast regarding eyeglass repair. I thought I'd request more information first and then review other options for eyeglass repair online and locally. After I informed them that I would not be using their label, I received a nasty reply as follows, "That works for you because you didn’t lose money . I did.. That doesn’t work for me….Since A label was generated for you to send in your eye-wear at our cost. Since you are not sending in your item, you must pay for this. The cost was $5.49. How did you wish to make this payment? I can accept PayPal or credit card. " This is absurd as they are not charged unless the label is used! They are clearly trying to scam people who don't know any better, out of their money! Don't support this company!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! ZERO Stars

I'ts been 10 weeks without my glasses. They are lost in the warehouse and all I get from them is they will be sent when they are found. "Its a HUGE warehouse" says Dino, as if that is an excuse for losing them. Dino is RUDE and his "customer service" skills are terrible!!!! NEVER send your glasses to this place you may never see them again.

Terríble!!! Run away

terrible. Run away from this store. I bought a prada sunglasses and they sent me one with signs of use, without the original lenses, without a case, without certificate of origin and wrapped in plastic. I tried contacting them via phone and email and was met by an aggressive person who did not solve anything. I had to suspend the purchase on the credit card and spend money to return the product
this amount was not repaid despite the employee's information that it would be

Backwards Business Plan

I was shopping options to replace lenses in 3 pairs of sunglasses. While on their site I gave them my name & address. Not certain why, I guess I was thinking they would reach me with options to choose from; lens color, scratch coatings, polarized or not.
Next thing I know is I get one phone call & multiple emails wondering why I haven't used the postage slip they created. I let them know I do not secure business w/o knowing price & details for any service. They showed a lousy attempt to specifics I requested which in turn made my decision not to do business with them. 'Sorry, I'll take my glasses elsewhere'.

This switched their demeanor immediately, threatening to report me to the credit bureau if I did not pay the $5.49 postage slip they created and was never used.

I then looked them up on BBB, Yelp, Trust Pilot & others to find more than a 1000 horrible experiences consumers. I am now filing a formal complaint with New York State Attorney General, Eric Schneiderman & suggest each of you in similar or worse experiences do the same. Unbelievable they are allowed to continue to rip off unknowing consumers year after year.

I was way lucky, so sorry to hear how many others are out their glasses & money. Take the time & do the right thing to assist in shutting down Optics Fast scam.

Opiticsfast...Complete Idiots!

These people has absolutely no customer service training! They are rude and extremely unprofessional. They had my address completely wrong even after they said they would correct it. They took it upon themselves to assume what size frames to send me. After waiting over two weeks I go to UPS to pick up order because it never made it to my house, and I get child frames. When I called they told me to take pictures of what I got & send it to them to open an investigation. Meanwhile I have no glasses. Instead of just telling me to send frames back & they'll correct order. They took the funds from my account in less then 24 hours of ordering but 2 weeks to get wrong frames and then they're very rude over the phone as if their working from a backyard shack! Then they had the nerve to send me a "text" yes text asking for a tip! I kid you not. Unbelievable! These people should not be doing any type of business period. My advice...Do NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!

TOTAL SCAM. RUDE OBNOXIOUS PEOPLE

I was trying to find a pair of ic berlin kjel sunglasses. Found them on this optics fast website. Was emailed by dino, i placed order with my credit card but lucky for me it did not go thru, later when i asked if they can be paid by pay pal some truculent person called becky ( not even real names) told me to " sort my card out and pay by credit card like prper people" WOW really as soon as i read this i knew they was scammers! I had some suspicions and asked several times if thiese are real. Now they tell me they will continure to charge my credit card until they can empty it. Then they will sell off my details to others. I have reported this to both my card company and the authoritys in the country of where they are based. They also use several other company names so BE AWARE. DO NOT GO HERE

For somewhat reason they were not able do deliver a particular frame. Instead of simply canceling my order, they have come back many times and have not stopped persuading me to choose another make. It's still goin on ...

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM...VERY DECEITFUL!

I ordered a pair of designer frames that I had wanted for about 6 months but had to wait for the new year. Unfortunately the manufacturer of said frames went belly up before I could get them ordered from a legitimate company which led me to this place. After a google search I found the exact frames and color here. I actually ordered from eyeglassesdepot.com but that order was forwarded to opticsfast. Everything went through with no issue until I inquired about shipment as I paid extra for 2 day shipping. Received an email last night saying that they only had 1 in stock and unfortunately they had a small crack in the frame. They were going to return to the manufacturer for replacement but she "got a call" later in the day saying those were no longer available. Excuse me but if this is your line of business you should have already known that! The email was full of holes as to their excuses. At the end of the email "BeckyS" told me that if I had an existing pair of these frames that needed repairing that they do that too. Another hole because if you do repairs and the frames in stock had a small crack in them....why wouldn't you repair them?? This was nothing but a bait by putting those frames on their site, having someone like me order, then trying to switch them to another frame. I take the blame for not researching the company before I ordered but got excited that they had the frames I wanted in stock, or so I thought. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS. Hopefully they will slither back into the hole from which they came out of if enough people post reviews.

I post this review of OPTICS FAST e …

I post this review of OPTICS FAST eyewear repair service in the hopes that someone will read it and avoid my mistake. I wish I had taken the time to read the on-line reviews of OPTICS FAST before sending them my vintage theo frames. That's on me... Had I done so, they would not currently have my frames, have sent them to a wrong address, and refused to refund the price of those theo frames (quite expensive for those who are unaware of the brand).

I fear that my frames are lost forever, due to either total incompetence or something more sinister/criminal. Let me explain. Some six months ago, I sent them my vintage frames which needed some paint touch up as well as nose guards. I was quoted a turn-around time of 1-2 weeks, when I inquired three weeks later, Becky S indicated they were almost ready and would be mailed soon. Two weeks later, after several emails I might add, she indicated that they were sent to the wrong address and the customer was being difficult and suggested I contact him directly. Can you believe it? She provided me with another client's home address and phone number (I won't do the same, though)!

I responded that this was not my job but the company's and requested a refund of fees and cost of frame. I got the following response:

You got the wrong item.
The other customer got the wrong item.
He is shipping it back and so are you.
That is how this issue is being resolved.

Again repeated emails until finally I learned why the customer who apparently has my frames was being so difficult. They have his sunglasses and have failed to produce them, so he's using my frames for what little leverage he can get. The email thread is below:

I don't want the glasses I have no use for them but I am not going to send anything back until I get what I paid for so please do not send me any more emails until I bet a shipping confirmation we have nothing to talk about good day.

Please read the on-line reviews. OPTICS FAST has been called rude, incompetent, disingenuous, surly, a complete fraud, sarcastic, intentionally ripping people off, inept, awful, wretched, nasty, a SCAM, ridiculous, a headache, classic bait and switch, crooked, despicable, sketchy.... I could fill the page with their "accolades." Apparently, they even offer payment for positive reviews. Go figure?!

You should avoid this vendor at all costs! I wish I had. Six months have now passed since I sent them the frames they promised would take only 1-2 weeks to be returned, repaired. Had I listened, at least, I'd have my unrepaired frames; that's more than I can show now after having spent $200 for my theo frames and entrusted them to OPTICS FAST. I have phoned, emailed, tried anything to get some action on their part; they now block my calls and refuse to answer my emails.

I have taken my issue to the NY Attorney General, Better Business Bureau and on-line review posting boards. Please do yourself a favor, or... YOU TOO WILL BE CHEATED!

Horrible customer service.

Lady on phone bitched me out because I asked a simple question. Would not give her name said it was irrelevant. Stated she was the supervisor. Then yelled at me and said I have two choices, one pay for return shipping (which I payed $5.59 to ship) the charge $15.99 for return or she could just toss them. My glasses .
I strongly suggest you find another option for your eyewear needs.

Hands down the worst place I have ever attempted business with. It is a complete mystery how these people remain in business if you go online and read the reviews of experiences people have had here.

Everything is imaginary. Becky, Alex, and Dino do not exist. This is a middle man for ebay and they will tell you that they order directly from the wholesaler.

Once they get your card information they will threaten you with access to your IP address and they went as far as to threaten me with access to the brief of my home and the fact they know where I live.

These are peasants that more likely than not are not from the states and were never educated, which actually helps in their fraud scheme because they are able to plead ignorance once they attempt robbery.

The entire site is imaginary and they do not even have access to stock levels,they simply appear to have a wide selection so that when you place an order your funds begin to process but it is more likely than not that the glasses you order do not even exist.

Once they order is placed, Eyeglasses depot/opticsfast will surf the internet (usually ebay 'Alex the invisible CEO' told me once he had no choice) to find the glasses you ordered. If they are there great, they found them for 50-200$ less than what you are paying for them.

However, If they cannot find them than their other domain OPTICS FAST will email you within 24 hours informing you that there was only 1 pair left of imaginary pair of glasses you ordered and "there was a defect in the frame so they cannot send them".

At this point the funds you sent are still being "processed" and a refund is entirely out of the question, they are not able to provide refunds because all the funds they have are fraudulent. Therefore you are required to pick a new pair. If it is a less expensive pair than you will overpay, as they cannot send money back. If it is a more expensive pair than get ready to be solicited for more money.

In just just one order, I witnessed false advertising, soliciting, harassment, fraudulent purchasing, property theft, identity theft, and phishing.

There customer service does not care about your business. They simply focus on single transactions and the "capturing" of your funds.

It is apparent that this place is an organized retail crime site and I promise you NOTHING can be trusted from eyeglasses depot/optics fast.

They pay customers to write positive reviews to offset all the bad ones they get.

If you do happen to mistakenly place an order here set aside 48 hours to stay on top of each and every move they make and organize your documents for any legal matters.

i have read multiple reviews of people being harassed for multiple days after the transaction. I actually stayed relentlessly on eyeglasses depot/optics fast the whole time they tried to get me to give up and they became so frustrated with me catching on to the scam that they blocked me on email and won't accept my calls.

Nothing makes me more motivated than a free loader so when I caught on after the first email they sent me I decided I would make it my mission to disrupt any and all future fraud they attempt.

It is my wish for all of you to become educated from this and save your time here. I mean I spent a full 2 days on this matter, and in the end it was worth it because nobody in this world deserves a free ride.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SITE

This company is a joke. The name is ridiculous. Many of the styles listed for sale are not available and their return policy requires the purchaser to cover the mailing costs as well as a 20% restocking fee which appears only under the FAQs on the site. That should be prominently displayed at check-out. Plus, it is anything but fast...enough said...

BEWARE: Fraudulent Company

I never review companies, but this was quite possibly the worst customer service experience I ever had. Received my glasses back and they replaced the frames with completely different color lenses. When I texted 'Becky S.' to ask them to rectify, she was horribly rude and told me they look the same. My original lenses were black and the lenses I received are translucent browning/purple. HORRIBLE - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I filed a complaint with the BBB.

glass repair

waiting for my refund check for months for a repair that propably only cost a few dollars.the owner said i would be getting $50.00 back better tnan nothing. all they did was put plastic tubing over broken metal. dissapointed to say the least

Great service and quick fix!!

"My husband had been complaining about 2 scratches on his glasses for years. I loved that I could send the glasses to OpticsFast for free and get an estimate. The glasses came back in a little over a week and they were all fixed! My husband and I will use OpticsFast in the future for all glasses!!"
