UNBELIEVABLE

Here we go again so we thought we were rid of this unbelievable corrupt company for good when we finally managed to break away from their dodgy Bionic over the phone rip off contract.
Their incompetence took them twice to the Energy Ombudsman in which we won both cases.
We have been with Valda Energy for nearly a year without a single issue with billing, supply and not getting ripped off, our electricity supply costs have reduced by over 60%
Now nearly a year later they are suddenly claiming we owe them £2k when we fully paid our agreed payment plan to the end of our dodgy contract.
We have emailed Opus numerous times which have been completely ignored and instead they have passed this fictitious debt on to a credit agency!
So off we go again to the EO for the third time unbelievable!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY SHOULD BE STRUCK OFF

Eva was very helpful during our call…

Eva was very helpful during our call and explained the situation with the billing perfectly. The invoices were dispatched immediately and I am now able to get them processed.

An issue solved immediately in a very friendly professional manner

I made an unusual enquiry on behalf of an elderly neighbour. My telephone call was answered by Kerri Griffin. Within a few minutes my enquiry was dealt with to my satisfaction. Kerri’s telephone manner was friendly, welcoming and very professional.
Any interaction between customers and utility providers is maintained thro the person that responds to the call.
When the interaction is very positive and efficient as this was, it leaves the customer confident that your business is important to them

Initiative

Bunmi really made an extra effort to resolve the issue.
It was to do with changes to the National database relating to my address that are needed to take up new contracts with a new supplier. The initiative she took has made all the difference and I’m very grateful for that. Thank you.

Not only did Kerri understand my query…

Not only did Kerri understand my query she acted positively and promptly to resolve the problem. The result was that she made sure the correct final invoice was issued immediately and in response I have been pleased to pay the final balance by return.
A simple matter resolved quickly and easily for the benefit of both parties without delay or frustration!

It started with a complain...

After having an issue with my smart meter, i raised a complaint that was dealt with by Gavin Clarke, who was able to assist and rectified the issues with meter readings very swiftly.

STAY AWAY FROM OPUS ENERGY***

Opus Energy has been charging my small business £2000 per month (£24,000 per year) for JUST electricity usage, which is literally 100% more expensive than the competitive rates with other energy providers available for my area. I KNOW this because I spoke to many online energy comparing services companies, and they told me that the competitive rates I could get if I switch was less than £1000, which is more than 50% CHEAPER than opus energy.

Please everyone DO NOT renew your contracts or join with Opus Energy ever, as they are extortionately overcharging small family owned businesses and exploiting them. Instead go online and do research via Google/energy comparison companies, and you could save your business tens or thousands of pounds on energy usage, YES TENS OF THOUSANDS.
