Sent phone and despite numerous phone calls and promises that cheque would be sent same day we are still waiting 3 weeks later

I used this service 2 yeas ago as well and got more money for my phone, both were high end HTC startphones but the most recent was very powerful and I was surprised to be offered a third less.

Further surprised to have a amount reduced a tenth once it had been received. Both phones we VERY well used but both technically worked (the most recent one more so). We know these phones aren't being used again, they are being recycled, so scratched cases shouldn't make a difference (it didn't 2 years ago).

Lastly, 2 years ago you were also beating your competitors, offering more money and better security/assurance (in what was a new process for me) in that you were Orange, or very least you are directly associated with them. This time around you were competitive still but you weren't offering the best price, I picked you for the security/assurance which I find disappointing.

All the choices for phone recycling (yourselves included) say the price may vary upon inspection so 2 years ago, as I had no experience of this process, I was pleasantly surprised when the offered price didn't change. Needless to say that is no longer a tick against your name either so in the future I will use your service if you are offering a similar, or better, price, because I trust you. But if other companies offer significantly more I might risk sending my expensive phone to some random company and cross my fingers that they don't just steal it.

Smooth process sending my handset away and quick valuation... However after declining the very low offer of £20 for an iphone4 with a smashed screen, I then received an email to say £20 was being credited to my account! I rang orange immediately who said there had been a mix up. They promised to ring me back in three days so I could pay the money back over the phone and they would send my handset back... Still no phonecall and no handset... Orange you are a disaster.. This is why I chose to leave you in the first place.

The process of sending the phone back was made so easier and the payment arrived in my bank account within days.

The returns package arrived with a couple of days of registering my phone, it was processed and valued as previously determined within a couple of days, and payment authorised almost immediately. Fast, no quibbles, no fuss.

Can't fault this service. The web form was easy to use. Extremely fast turn around. Every step of the way was explained and the option to back out at every step gave me piece of mind.

The whole process was very simple to follow. Plus everything was done very quickly. There was no hanging around waiting for the envelope and the bank transfer took only a few days. The line of communication with the emails keeps you upto date with what stage of the process you are which is great. Very happy with the service and will definitely use it again.

I could not fault Orange recycle as i was very pleased with how they dealt with my order. They were so professional and all communication was excellent. I got the price I wanted and also had the option of them sending the phone back if i wasn't entirely happy.
