Great ethics, great service

Fantastic paint, fantastic customer services.

Very prompt response to my enquiry with extra details to follow.

Purchased a 375ml tin for £18.25 plus postage of £4.95 to apply to two small oak shelves.
Followed the instructions and primed with a thin coat.
The brush was immediately cleaned in water but the residue solidified and had to be dissolved in white spirits. (The instructions on the tin mentions that this could happen)
The primer coat wouldn’t dry and then I discovered that Oak must be primed with Auro 117 Special Primer at an additional cost of £16 plus postage of £4.95 bringing the total cost to £44.15.

Entirely my fault - I hadn't read the instructions fully but had I read the instructions and discovered the true cost (£44.15) I would have found a more reasonably priced alternative.

So not wanting to spend another £20.95 on the off chance it fixed the problem and I would have to sand back to bare would anyway, I decided to cut my losses.
After a week I was able to sand back to bare wood although it still wasn’t properly dry and really clogged up the sandpaper.

After a little research I purchased a 500ml tin of Rustins Quick Dry Varnish Satin Clear for £9.99 which was also water based, low odour, toy safe, food safe AND touch dry in 30 mins, re-coatable in two hours and the brush really did wash clean in water.
The finish after the third coat (light sanding between coats) was exactly what I wanted – matt, odourless, no perceptible colour change to the oak and beautifully smooth.

Incredible experience, I was very pressed for time to receive oil for my wood floors. There was a slight delay with the courier, and the Natural Paint Co. sent a second order with urgent postage for me, to ensure I had the oil on time.

The oil smells delicious! and truly is a pleasant smell, rolls on super easy. I'd recommend this company to anyone!

I wanted organic natural paint for my bedroom so that I do not have to breath toxins whilst sleeping and I found this website whilst doing my researches; They are absolutely reliable; all my four orders arrived the day after they were placed and their curies are very friendly. I chose a pale blue for my bedroom (whisper) which I love and I have to say it smells nice too (it smell natural, cant describe but it does not have that typical toxic odors of traditional paints). I can definitely say I have safe sleeps now

Great that you can get a true colour chart with real paint on. The paint has good coverage, there were no problems using it and it's reassuring to know there are no chemicals in it and it might even absorb the chemicals from the new furniture and no environmental impact!

I’ve ordered paint several times now and always had a great experience! In fact, this week I realised that I’d ordered the wrong paint so I emailed asking if the order could be stopped and replaced with the correct one. I received a reply confirming they had amended the order and when to expect the delivery. No delays and easy updated invoice - excellent customer service! Thank you!

We purchased paint online on Sunday, expecting (as they communicate on their website) that the paint would be packaged on Monday and delivered on Tuesday. It is now Thursday I have no idea when my paint will arrive and I realised it is impossible to get in contact with representatives of this company. Extra money was paid for next day delivery, but now I'm not getting any delivery. I've had to cancel my painter twice. If there is a geniune reason for not being able to deliver, I would understand it if they can just get in touch. There is no phone number on the website, between my partner and I we've sent 5 emails from different email accounts and I tried to reach out on Facebook - it is impossible to get hold of these people. Right now, we have no idea when (if) our paint will ever arrive and no one is willing to provide us with any feedback whatsoever. I would not recommend using them unless you have a lot of patience.

I have tried out eco paint products for a few years now and tried different ranges. I recently bought some paint to use in the bathroom and have been very impressed.
The coverage is really smooth and had a good finish. My main plus point is the fact you can communicate with the company and get personal responses! What a nice touch. If someone is that passionate about their product and willing to engage with their public, they are worth promoting.

Good product good experience with company too. Nice people and it’s wonderful to find paint that doesn’t poison with its fumes.

Once again I have gone back to the Natural Organic Paint Company, this time to decorate our new home. Again the same lightening speed of delivery, same fantastic products and same excellent customer service, that kept us informed of the delivery at all stages.

I can't see us using any other paint ever again, to be honest... UK-made; natural; organic; family firm; up in God's own country... what's not to LOVE?!

The "Organic & Natural Paint Co" (Chris) is just a middle man that takes your orders and place them to the actual company - "Graphenstone" that makes paint.

Better to order from the "Graphenstone" store directly, they have phone number to call and can investigate your orders.

I ordered 4 samples on Sunday for the next day delivery on Tuesday. I received two emails on Sunday - "Your The Organic & Natural Paint Co order has been received!" and "Your The Organic & Natural Paint Co order is now complete". When I looked today (Tuesday) why I have not received delivery notification I noted that my previous delivery was from Graphenstone, when I called them they told me that Chris did not placed my order with them and that I won't receive my samples in time because of this. After investigation they found that this is issue with server on "Graphenstone" side and order through "Organic & Natural Paint Co" was lost.
Now I had to cover decorator costs for one more day.
"Organic & Natural Paint Co" cancelled my order and "Graphenstone" took payment with small discount.

I have experienced the most appalling customer service - I ordered three times from this company and was disappointed with the product but other than that I then proceeded to request a refund for the last order and after several emails I finally had the product returned untouched and in its original packaging. But shockingly I got £19.99 refunded for a £49.99 product. I have asked Chris Ridley for an explanation as to how he got to this refund and have written a formal letter but still no reply.

July 2019 - I have just received an apologetic email from Chris and a full refund plus a little extra to compensate for their mistake. This was much appreciated. Thanks
