Stuart Carter and Matthew Price of the Abington office went above and beyond for a completion we had today on a purchase, without their assistance we would not have been able to complete the purchase and we would have had very disappointed vendors and purchasers. They will tell you anything to sell a property including lies. They told me there was an allocated parking space and after buying the property, I realised that there isn't.
Always check the details with a proper solicitor, not a conveyancer, don't believe a word of what they tell you or what is said on their adverts.

I initially had a good experience with Stuart who showed me the house. From then I was not exactly sure who I was to be in contact with as several people emailed. I then spoke to Kirsty who was friendly and helpful enough. I did ask her to reach out to my lawyer for a few questions she asked but aside from that all good.

However I am extremely disappointed with the service I received towards the end of the house purchase. When it was time to pick up the keys confusing and conflicting information from different staff. First time purchase so was genuinely concerned something had gone wrong. When I mentioned I would leave a review about was told Stef and Mathew “I am being threatening and aggressive”. As a woman of colour am I surprised by the language they used to describe me when expressing my disappointment at the service and confusion? No. Disgusted!

Steph and Matthew kept us up to date with our sale, Kirsty moved things along towards exchange, Chelsea showed us properties to rent....The whole team at Weston Favell Northampton were brilliant! They know their market, are truthful and honest about viewings and feedback and are all easy to contact on the phone when necessary

They have just been committed to helping me and have just been fab with everything. I am so glad I decided to go through this Estate Agent.

Extremely unprofessional lettings agent, staff need to be retrained! I travelled 2.5 hours in the rain to view this property, I called their offices to let them know I was running slightly late, was advised by their staff member that it was absolutely fine as the lettings negotiator Alana had no appointments after mine.
I reached the property and stood in the rain knocking for 15 mins and called office over 7 times!

when I finally got through to them, they lied about our previous discussion and told me nothing would be done!

Horrible service by this company, I WOULD DEFINITELY AVOID AND USE ANOTHER AGENT!

Shocking company which only cares about money not people. They lie and scam people! Sold the house to somebody else during our process of application. No honest explanations! The most horrible experience as a first time buyer I could ever have in my life just before Christmas. Thank you Oriordan Bond & Good luck!

Absolute shambles of a company, please avoid especially if you are a tenant, they couldn't give a monkeys about you! We had the dis pleasure of living in a house they were the letting agents of for 3 long years, and I have never experienced such abysmal customer service and as many people who are completely incompetent at every level! We reported faults on the property countless times only to be ignored time and time again, then when we did chase them up over the phone they only come back at you with attitude or laughter, say they are going to call you back and then never do, nothing ever got fixed in our house and i have been waiting to write this review for so long, they pass the buck every time and do nothing to help you, i could go on all day about how bad they are. Not sure if they have too many customers or they are just all terrible at their jobs but either way i would not use them if they were the last estate agents on earth. Not deserved of 1 star, should get 0.

I had a very negative experience with O’Riordan Bond Lettings and I would stay clear if you want to save yourself time, money and stress.
I found them highly unprofessional from the moment I took out a tenancy with them. They emailed me the wrong documents and leaked someone else’s personal data. On the day when I was supposed to collect the keys for the property they sent me to the wrong office and didn’t apologise. There were issues with the property that were raised and they never bothered to fix. They were very bad at communicating key information and some of the agents were particularly rude. Paige was particularly unprofessional, rude and unhelpful. They tried to claim part of my deposit to fix problems with the property that were already there when I moved in and we had to go through the very time-consuming process of starting a DPS dispute. I got my money back eventually but they’ve done this to other people (see previous reviews). Overall it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a letting agency

We have recently sold our house in NN3 via O'Riordan Bond in Weston Favell. We cannot rate them high enough. From start to finish we received an excellent service. During the final weeks, Kirsty went over and beyond to keep all parties communicating and updated. We have no hesitation to recommend them as an agent, but also as a team that can give professional advice. A true 5-star service. Thanks for everything.

Awful customer service skills, and a complete lack of knowledge of any housing legislation. It’s a joke to be honest. Honestly, avoid.

Just spoke t the lettings people in Weston Favell, Northampton. I had made email enquiries to view a property for rent and filled in their form for details. Had heard nothing back, not even an acknowledgement so called. Had to provide the details again. We do not meet their requirements as we have not been back in the UK for very long and they could not consider an alternative arrangement to tax returns. The bit that upset me is when I said that we should then not look at properties they have I did not even get a ok goodbye, the agent just hung up the phone. Terrible thing to do whatever you think of the person on the other end and I was just being direct.

This company are the worst. They try to undersell in price to pass on to the builders or other clients . When you move to another estate agent to sell your property, they put the property back on the market you had agreed to buy from a builder whom hasn’t been in that position before.
Then you sell for 30,000 more and wonder what is happening. Like the property a few house down a 5 bedroom they under valued , disgusting. They have a high turnover of staff whom they treat awfully .
When we moved to our new estate agents they had a terrible trouble with Oriordan bonds . Disgraceful behaviour.
NEVER GO TO THEM they are the cowboy of Estate agents in Northampton

We have recently compleated the process on purchasing our first property thru the O'Riordan Bond Hunsbury office. Marc and Helen were incredible and extremly helpful along the way. We will definitely recommend them and also use their service in the future.

After my father passing away we had to sell his house. We called O'Riordan Bond,Matthew Bird from the Grange Park branch( Town and Country). Matthew delt with the sale from the first day we met and through out the whole sale process. I thought Matthew gave an excellent service. He was extremely helpful , informing us regularly and was very quick at answering queries. What I especially liked was having the same person as the point of contact .

Saw a house advertised with O'RIORDAN BOND ESTATE in Northampton. Called to arrange a viewing. The initial man I spoke to asked me a lot of personal questions and was rude(more interested in steering me towards their own mortgage broker, solicitor etc). Said he would call me the next day...I heard nothing. I called 2 days later and Jessica was helpful. When I spoke to another man to arrange a date for the viewing he said that he had me on 'his list of things to do' and assured me that he had not forgotten me. In fact he did. Sorry I lied, he
did remember me 5 days later after there had been 6 few viewings and an offer made on the property by another party.

Their unprofessionalism is astounding. (Although I must give Jessica credit because she was the only one that actually had the decency to respond to my phone calls).

The 2 men later called after the fact and had the temerity to ask if I wanted to look at another property from them and telling me that if the offer fell through on the house I liked that they may contact me.

What they fail to understand is that how you treat people leaves a lasting impression and no matter how much I love a house, I would NEVER in the future purchase one from them.
Unless you want to go with their solicitors, mortgage broker etc avoid them at all cost.

My husband and I chose ORiordan Bond, Wellingborough Road, Northampton to sell our property in Whitworth Road.
Their valuation was realistic, and their advice extremely valuable. As we were living some 150 miles away, we were hugely reliant on Matthew Bird to look after everything for us. We found him extremely personable, highly professional and the real biggie, he was able to source not one, not two, but three buyers for our property extremely quickly.
We were kept informed at every stage of the process, by Matthew and the rest of the team at this office and we were very happy with the quality of service given.
Covid-19 has made life very stressful and buying and selling property now seems to be fraught with unforeseen problems, but we felt our confidence in O'Riodan Bond was very well placed.
