Very Bad Customer Services - bordering on breaking the law

Their web site says 'order before 15:00 for same day dispatch'. I ordered 2 items on a Sunday so expected them to dispatch on the Monday. They debited my credit card on the Sunday. By the Thursday I hadn't received the goods so I emailed them and got a reply saying that they wouldn't be dispatching for another 2 weeks. I cancelled the order. They accepted the cancellation and agreed to credit my credit card. It took them 6 days to do this.
Osoo.co.uk and elitegadgets.com are both run from the same small terraced house in Oldham.

Lies Lies Lies

The staff at osoo are so full of it. I only hope that you are reading this review before you order anything from these cowboys, unlike me who has been waiting 86 days for my order, and had the following excuses:
"We have not internet connection and there for cannot process your order" - that one lastest two weeks!
"The products that came in are faulty when they came in and we have had to reorder them" - had that lie twice so far and it lasted three weeks
"Your order came in, but because you ordered three items and we only had two, so we sent them to someone else"
Now we're back to the internet not working again, so can't do anything

Andy at osoo, I know you have an iphone and are getting your emails! You have no excuses left. Your company is osoo unprofessional and I hate wasting my time with you.

Absolute Rip-off

Delivery took over 14 days - paid for next day delivery - told me it was the delivery company - liars I checked - no parcel collected

*AWFUL* - Avoid at ALL costs

I made an order on Sunday 28 Nov 2010 and payment was taken very soon after.

The Osoo website advises that orders made before 3pm should be dispatched the same day. Based on this, I should have received my order by Wednesday at the latest.

On 2 Dec 2010 I emailed Osoo asking where my order was. I was told that due to heavy snow fall no items had been dispatched. I said this was understandable but a mailer should at least be sent to affected customers to let them know this is the case, and to stop them having to give the same response to people wondering where their orders are. Surely this is good business sense. No such mailer was sent.

Osoo asked if I would like a refund and I very clearly declined this offer and stated that I would wait.

On 7 Dec 2010 I asked where my order was. This email was ignored.

On 8 Dec 2010 I asked where my order was. I received an email stating "Your order is being dispatched today and will be with your tommorow."

On 9 Dec 2010 I received an automated email stating "Thank you for returning your product. The item has now been processed and a refund has been issued to your card."

I asked Osoo what was going on. They replied "We recieved an email to cancel the order, so it was cancelled and returned to us? We haev therefore credited your card."

I explained that I did NOT cancel the order and asked them to send me a copy of where this instruction was made. They replied "We do not keep copies of the emails, however there is a note on the order to say the customer emailed to cancel."

They purge emails within days of receiving them?

These guys are total amateurs and I'll never use them again.

All five star reviews are from authors who've never reviewed another company. How amazing (unbelievable) is that, they all registered to praise Osoo?

Awful

Never before have I come across such an awful on-line 'business'. Items shown as being in stock on their website simply weren't. My card was billed despite the items not being in stock. Communication is patchy at best and non-existent at worst. Need I go on?

Osoo.co.uk might 'appear' to be cheap - but you just might end up paying the price for their incompetence in other ways. I did! Would recommend that people keep well clear. Pay a few quid more elsewhere and save yourself a heap of hassle.

All good, quick delivery....

I read these reviews before making my choice, so Im back on here to give my two pennies worth.

I understand there phone lines were down so emailed them with my concerns, they were quick to response and allayed any fears I had.

Ordered a new projector and screen on Thursday, recieved Friday morning...couldnt be more happy!!!!!!!!!!!!

10 outta 10 Osoo!!!!

Aweful experience, this company is a scum!!

I made an order two weeks ago and while the payment went through, I have no news whatsoever about my order... I try to call them but there are "difficulties in their lines" and I have received no replies to my mails!
AVOID AT ALL COST!!

So far...So Bad...although this may change.

I ordered a Sony Laptop from Osoo.co.uk 3 days ago and according to their policy if you order before 3pm, it is dispatched the same day.

Needless to say, the money has been taken from my credit card, nothing has arrived and conveniently, the on-line telephone number has a recorded message saying they are having "Difficulties with their phone system", this has been the case for 3 days now! I am not impressed so far..

I have emailed Osoo but I don't expect a response based on my experience so far and after checking my Osoo account page (which says "processing"), I think eventually I will get an email saying my laptop is out of stock.........or worst, no email at all and a wild goose chaise.

We'll see what happens, but my advice so far is; if you want a stress free purchase and some piece of mind do NOT use Osoo.co.uk

Having said that, I am happy to change my review should my experience dramatically improve since I have not had a full transaction with them yet.

Samsung WB2000

Excellent service. i ordered a Samsung WB2000 camera at lunch time Monday, camera arrived lunch time Tuesday, can't get much better than that. Packaging could have been a little better but I have no real complaints.

The price of the camera was the best I could find and the service was top notch.

Terrible Delivery Time & Poor Communications

I ordered my item 6 days ago. Osoo showed item as being in stock. However, I've received no delivery from them as yet and no communication as to why this is the case. Having just rung them this morning I've been told my item is packaged and ready to ship today. That sounds awfully convenient! I would seriously suggest you spend a few extra pennies and shop elsewhere. You've been warned.

No delivery and no refund yet

Ordered Adobe CS5 Premium Student (Mac), not delivered, e-mailed company a week later to find out where it was, to be told stock was faulty and a new supplier had to be found and I would have to wait another 2 weeks for delivery. Osoo offered an immediate refund which I had to agree to as I had to buy it from another supplier as I needed the software urgently for University. I am still awaiting the refund my bank account having gone into the red.
Poor service all round, if the money isn't refunded quickly may incur bank charges.

Lightning delivery

Phoned OSOO to check the camera-housing I wanted was actually "In stock". Lots of suppliers reported this as "In stock" on their web pages, but in actual fact were not.
Phone call passed on to a supervisor to check stock who confirmed my item was available. Even a reduction on shipping charge.
This was latish afternoon and, amazingly, the housing was delivered 9:30 following day.
Excellent service, OSOO & thanks.

first Experience a Very Good One.

Very very happy indeed, the item arrived exactly when i expected it to, they said 24 hours and it was 24 hours I ordered Friday and it arrived Tuesday after the bank holiday (Sat not classed as a working day) Good price for the item too. would use em' again ;O)

Highly recommended!

I was looking for an HD projector and having done a lot of research decided on the model I wanted.
As always, having made up my mind, I wanted it asap!
I did shop around, and even though I managed to find it a few quid cheaper, osoo did promise it for next day delivery, so I ordered.
The transaction was totally without hitch and by 3 o'clock the following afternoon I was fiddling with cables and instruction manuals.
I would not hesitate to recomment osoo.co.uk to anyone

Awful

This is a terrible operation. I ordered a week ago on the basis of the low price and next day delivery but have heard nothing since. I've tried calling them but keep getting the 'lines are busy message'. It then informs me my call is important before asking me to leave a message. Infuriating. Go elsewhere.

Generally smooth sale..

Must say after reading these reviews I had mixed feelings about ordering. However, I believe there are two sides to every story and these review sites are usually only frequented by disgruntled customers, the happy customer don't bother to write anything, so sometimes they can give a biased and slighty unfair view.

With this in mind, I ordered my new laptop and it was dispatched that day and was delivered to me the very next day.

Went as smooth as Luther in the 80s....:)

Same day dispach, you must be joking

If you order an item for this company then don't expect next day delivery. Even though it says "Any item ordered before 3pm will be dispatched the same day, unless otherwise stated."

Well guess what ordered 4 days ago and still no indication if the item has been shipped at all. I will be calling them tomorrow to cancel my order (if it turns up today then I will refuse it from the courier).

Information not so good

I bought an item that was out of stock. I then rang them to see when they will get the item back in stock, i rang on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For each call they said they will get it in within 7-10 working days. Not very helpful on an exact date i should be receiving the item. I get the feeling they are just reading of their servers and not from their suppliers.

Wasted my time purchasing here!

Rang them 5 days after purchase of small ink cartridge for fax machine which had not arrived! (order monday rang friday)
(bare in mind they are charging me £6.80 exclusive of vat for a next day delivery) Was told that stock takes at least 5 days to reach them before they can ship out to me. I bought the item on basis of believing to receive 24 to 48 hrs. They apologised and are going to refund me.
I would advise to call them first and check with them delivery date estimate if you need things urgently. Don't assume swift delivery when buying from this website

I was pleasantly surprised!

After reading this review I contacted Osoo.co.uk. They confirmed that not all items are kept in physical stock. They have over 60000 prodcuts on the site, so not all is kept in stock at one time. However, anything which isnt kept in stock is available for next day delivery by direct shipping from there suppliers.

Anyway, I placed an order and as promised it was recieved the very next day. The item was well packaged and is exactly what I ordered.

After being initally apprehensive, I was proved wrong. the service I recieved was honest and excellent and the item was perfect...exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price.

10 out of 10 to Osoo!!!!!
