I made a booking for a 2 night stay in London for July 2020. This was booked in November 2019. When I booked as per my email confirmation this was with free cancellation. When the issues began with coronavirus I cancelled my booking in March 2020. I received an offer from Otel.com to receive a voucher rather than a full refund. I declined this and confirmed I wanted the refund. The representative I received messages from was Mustafa Ozyigen. I received confirmation from them that they would add me to the refund list to arrange this however it could take 60 days. It has now been well over 60 days and they are now ignoring my messages it is impossible to gain any sort of response from them. Paid extra for this booking to ensure I had free cancellation and they have not provided this. Would warn anyone against using this company at any cost!!

this company is a joke. I'm not even sure why i'm writing this... nothing is going to be done. Wish I coudl give it negative 50 stars. I'm out almost 400$. I am trying to get a refund because the website failed to tell me that the hotel I went to was under construction and we were unable to stay there. the number doesn't work it's some weird number that won't complete the call. I plan to open a fraud case, sue, and take it to the BBB.

Arrived at hotel to be told that our booking which we made on 25 August had been removed from the system on 1 September, 6 days before we were due to arrive, with no notification to us or a refund.
So now I have to do a chargeback on my credit card as they have basically stolen my money. They are not responding to my messages.
I had to pay the hotel directly for the room and thankfully they charged me the same rate as otel.com and gave me a complimentary upgrade for my troubles.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE I BOOKED.

I booked a luxury room in Tenaya Lodge, USA for a special road trip to celebrate my daughters' 18th and 21st Birthdays. Unfortunately, flights cancelled due to Covid. All other hotels have refunded me apart from Otel.com. Contacted them several times for refund via their web site with absolutely no response. Tried contacting the hotel direct but my booking reference is not recognised. Very worried now I have seen these other responses that I have also been conned.

I booked 2 hotel rooms near Venice airport for 14 May 2000 but due to the corona virus and no planes flying we had to cancel Otel.com gave me voucher codes to use in the next year. It is impossible to find anywhere that the voucher can be used, I think that the voucher is a big con.
I have tried time and time again to rebook but its impossible.

The. Company is part of another company Metglobal, together they have scammed money out of so many people including me. This is absolute scam! I booked the hotel with Otel.com they charged me and canceled the booking 2 days prior arrival. It supposed to be my Husband’s surprise birthday stay. Now I’m desperate to find another place when everything is fully booked! Don’t ever book with Otel.com, they are criminals.

Stay away from otel.com like the plague. These are criminals. We had a fully refundable booking, they cancelled our booking without even informing us and keeping our booking as active in their site, then refusing to refund me. Took me nearly five months to get my money back through a chargeback claim with my bank.

Ils ont dû empocher des millions d'€ depuis Mars 2020.
Ils passaient avant via TRIVAGO.COM je ne les vois plus via ce site. Il faudrait signer une pétition, il doit y avoir le moyen de saisir la justice au niveau Européen.

Les gérants de cette agence, METGLOBAL étant la maison mère, ces gérants apparaissent sur le réseau professionnel LINKEDIN.

Même si ils envisagent de changer de nom d'agence par la suite, les noms des dirigeants eux ne changeront pas, il y a matière grise pour les attaquer en justice avec preuves à l'appui.

I booked a fully refundable hotel for a stay in May 2020, which I cancelled almost 2 full months before we were due to arrive. When cancelling and requesting a cash refund, the cancellation confirmation email stated they had automatically converted it to a voucher and I'd have to email to request a cash refund.

After several back and forths over email with them offering +10% and then +15% on top of the voucher, they eventually agreed to process a refund which could take up to 60 days.

60 days have passed and, despite chasing several times I hadn't had a response, so raised a dispute with Amex. They upheld this until Otel.com disputed it and send back all the documentation and emails PRIOR to my request to cancel and states I broke their booking terms. They failed to include the numerous emails which confirm they are processing a cash refund.

I get travel agents and low cost booking sites are under significant strain right now, but this behaviour and attitude is sly and underhanded. Judging by the amount of reviews on here along the same subject - I'd imagine I'm not the exception!

Booked and paid for hotel in Stratford upon Avon back in February. Arrived at hour hotel after a 3hour journey on 20th August to be told that our booking had been cancelled back in May. I had to find and pay for another hotel in the area for me and my family.
Otel.com will not answer the phone (telephone number registered in Turkey) and as of yet have not replied to my email requesting a full refund.
Do not trust, book with someone else.

I made a reservation (code: BOOKING TRACKING NUMBER 6707D69) on Otel.com website last Ocotber 2019, in the amount of 1018,14 € EUR, for Hotel Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort, Tailand (check in April, 2020).
The amount was charged by this institution few days ahead .
At March, 2020 I canceled my reservation, because COVID-19 .
After that I received an email by otel.com customer offering a special offer of %15 more credits over the original reservation amount. to compensate the free cancellation.
I answer that I didn't have any interest in receiving that
reimbursement of the reservation price, I asked for the cash transfer to my bank account Query ID: DOD-408-25970; Process ID O9-98366650.
At April 17th, 2020 I received an email informing me that I was added to the refund queue and that the refunds may took a minimum of 60 days to process.
After that I have continued asking for my refund and I received an email from Otel.com in June 27th, in this terms:
“Dear Guest,
Thank you for your email and we are truly sorry for the delay.
Please kindly be informed that we have contacted our payment department to check the status of the refund and we will update you as soon as we get their response.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Since than, I haven't received the refund. I tried to contact them by sending several emails,to know the process status, and I haven't receive any feedback. I'm still waiting for the full refund so far.

Refused to refund booking even though hotel was closed and we could not stay.

They have stolen my money £350 and when i asked for a refund they closed the enquiry. THE WORST TRAVEL COMPANY DO NOT EVER USE THEM REMEMBER THIS WHEN THEY SCREW YOU OVER TOO IF YOU DECIDE TO USE THEM!!!!!

SCAM!! they rob me. 350 euros. Those guys deserve jail. DONT PAY THEM. Report them to stop the abuse.

We had a hotel booked through otel.com when our flights to Italy were cancelled. I wrote to them to ask to cancel and received no response. I asked for written confirmation our reservation was non refundable so we could claim it back on our travel insurance. I have received no response, but did get in touch with our hotel who said otel.com had passed on our cancellation. Otel.com have kept our money and won't give us the written confirmation we need to claim it back from our insurance. I am exhausted chasing this and have reported them via the government's "Report a business behaving unfairly during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak" service.

Please everyone use another booking agent. This company is a scam and has not refunded my money and doesnt respond to any messages. They told me in March I would recieve a refund in 60 days and I still haven't recieved one and it's been almost 6 months!!
