Otel.com is a SCAM. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE FOR MONTHS AND THEY DON'T GET BACK WITH ME. I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED IN YESTERDAY AND THE DARN MOTEL IS CLOSED DUE TO THE VIRUS. THE MOTEL SAID EXPEDIA IS THE 3RD PARTY SUPPLIER SO I CALLED THEM AND THEY SAY THEY HAVE NOTHING WITH MY NAME AND NUMBER. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I booked a holiday through Otel.com only later to read the shocking reviews about them. They cancelled my 10 night holiday without any notice to me and are refusing to refund me. They are completely fraudulent and I massively regret using them. Do not book a holiday through this website, you will literally be throwing away your money.

unable to write a review without giving 1 star. They deserve NO STARS. SCAMMERS. They have failed to contact hundreds of customers during the Covid19 situation, they have taken money and ignored all forms of contact from people trying to claim the refunds they are entitled to. I have been trying to contact them for 5 months now, I was due to travel in April but my hotel was closed. Be careful as we went through TRIVAGO which took us to OTEL.COM. Do Not book with otel.com.
If you have been ripped off join the facebook page scammed by otel.com. That's right they are so bad they have a scammed by page.

Do not book with this company. Read other reviews. Same story. Absolute con artist scumbags.

Booked a hotel with this company and tried to cancel due to covid 19, was not able to get a hold of anyone on the phone so opened a request on their website.
They cancelled the reservation but will not issue a refund , it's been 4 months now and they wont refund my money.
WORST COMPANY EVER.

We booked a hotel through their site for our honeymoon in May. We had a free cancellation on our booking so when Covid hit we cancelled it which should have been free. They had already taken all of the money as they knew what an impact Covid was having on their business. We are still waiting for our refund 4 months later with no progress on emails or on the phone. Every time i raise a ticket on their portal, they close the ticket down so it's resolved on their side. The total lack of compassion for their customers is clear. We will never book with this company again.

What a crock of Sh 1t this company is. I made a booking pre-pandemic in good faith and everything planned for my trip had to be cancelled. Every other site was fantastic and fully understood.
Countless times I tried contacting Otel.com
Countless times Otel.com failed to respond.
Stay well away from these cowboys!
Whoever owned this company is a criminal and should be arrested.

If only there was a ‘no star’ option! This company would get it. Shocking customer service, still waiting a refund from March!! Been offered a voucher when I repeatedly asked for a refund to my bank. Was told it takes 60 days to refund - pretty sure it didn’t take me 60 days to pay them!!! Still waiting over 60 days later!!! Definitely will not be using them EVER again! KEEP CLEAR!!!

I couldent pick zero stars and that is a shame.

We booked a hotel in hvar, Croatia. Covid-19 hit and we asked otel.com of we could get our money back. We could not they Said. Not otel.com fault rules are rules. But we ended up going to Croatia anyway. When we arrive at the hotel they say that our booking is cancelled seens a long time and that they never have recived any money from otel.com or metro global wich is the mother companys name. So no hotel for us. And our money gone almost 700euros. An easy criminal scam by this company due to covid-19. A big warning to all! Do not book via otel.com

Horrible company!!!! No refund yet due to corona almost 4 months now!!!! No email no nothing. 😡😡

Received regarding Corona the refund only as an voucher, valid 1 year after booking even the hotel were a full refund. I asked on 29th May for refund to credit card instead of this voucher. Until today (21st July - never received any answer) So I tried to make a new booking and wanna pay it with this voucher. Doesn't work. Reach them by phone it's not possible.
SO KEEP YOUR HANDS AWAY FROM THIS BOOKING SIDE. AN ABSOLUT DESASTER!!!!

Lying about the cancellation on the Hotel side and does not offer full refund due to the consumer contract not fulfilled. Does not want to address my queries via phone and email. Please use Section 75 with credit card provider to get your money back! I am thinking to take legal action against PAYTREK UK LTD too! The director does not even live in UK! search on company house :11001376

We booked a trip to Thailand on Otel.com and have sent a numerous emails & phone calls to the agency with having no reply or curtesy email sent to us in regards to our booking in July.
Have received no refund or part of.
Would not recommend you book with this company as it may be a scam.
We still await some sort of feed back response to all our communication we have sent to Otel.com

total scam we booked a refundable hotels and we canceled them 30 days before the trip and they refuse to issue a refund. filed with my credit card company and they produced false documents to avoid a refund. I do not want a voucher they might not be in business in 1 year. I am sure of it. book with them and for sure you will lose all your money and have horrible trip(when you get to the hotel they will not have your reservation)

This company is a downright disgrace!!! They are refusing to refund hundreds of people for holidays that couldn’t go ahead due to Covid 19. I have been waiting since March for my refund so I applied for a chargeback with my bank. Otel then dispute the chargeback and the money is then taken back from my account!!! Absolutely scandalous taking hard earned money from hardworking people. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS SHAMEFUL COMPANY!!!

Take this company and shove it! This company is based in Turkey and I have attempted to reach them (10 times) for Covid 19 refund and no responses. I paid in advance (best rate) for NFL draft in Vegas at the Venetian Hotel $1200 and I have not received any communication back regarding this problem. I would highly advise you not to use this company!

I tried to cancel a hotel reservation due to Covid 19. The hotel itself indicated they were accepting cancellations up to 24 hours before the arrival date. I asked for the cancellation 5 days before my arrival date. I never even got a response to my cancellation request. The only thing I got was an automated message indicating they would be in touch. When I tried to call their telephone number, the greeting said that cancellations should be submitted online. My travel date has come and gone and now Paypal refuses to issue a refund. If you search around you will find that this is a common pattern, poor customer service and exceptionally poor handling of cancellation requests.

TOTAL SCAM. We could not travel due to COVID-19 and they would not refund our money. I will seek legal guidance.

I have been trying to get a defund since March for a cancelled trip to Malta. I must have contacted them 20-30 times to obtain my refund. Now I can’t get any reply at all.

Avoid at all costs. This company will go to the wall and we will all lose our hard earned cash. Sharks
