THE worst company I’ve ever had to deal…

THE worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I bought some faulty earbuds and I tried to return immediately within the 14 day period. Then began a long and arduous back and forth of long emails (from them) insisting on videos (when the faults were not something that could be filmed) and refusal to refund my money. I spent weeks receiving unhelpful emails and the customer service was appalling. They use a policy of wearing down customers, wasting their time and energy explaining and re-explaining the reason for return, not sending return details and unwillingness to give basic customer service. I have never in my life experienced such a horrible time with any company I’ve bought from, ever. I even had to resort to speaking with trading standards as a back up for my consumer rights. The best thing you can do is go to any company but this one. If I could give zero stars I would

Google Chromecast TV ordered January 2025

Ordered Google Chromecast TV January 26th 2025. Two days later received email saying there were issues with the shipment and it would be an additional 8 weeks on top of original delivery time. Come April I reported that I still hadn't received the item asking when it would be delivered. OurFriday replied saying they couldn't give an estimated delivery date. I waited until May. Still no delivery so asked to cancel the order and have my money back. Despite chasing I've had no communication from OurFriday since I tried to cancel the order.

Hopeless. Don't buy from these people.

I know it's tempting but just don't...

I know it's tempting but just don't.... They are yet another e-commerce site offering stuff that doesn't exist. Ordered a phone showing as 'in stock' on their website. A week later they advised that they couldn't ship the phone for a month (maybe, no guarantee. Basically they didn't have one despite the assurance of 'stock'. It then took another week to get my money back. I'm fed up of these scam companies advertising
things they don't have. Just stick to reputable companies and save yourself the grief.

Absolute joke of a business

Absolute joke of a business. They label products as brand new in sealed boxes but when my Apple Watch arrived the box was not sealed and it had a dent in it. The camera I bought was faulty and its serial number wasn’t recognised by canon. I returned it back to the company they claimed they didn’t receive then after a while they opened a case with Royal Mail to investigate. That was almost a month ago, they claim Royal Mail didn’t get back to them in a month which is definitely a lie. Whenever I ask for updates they just stall and say be patient we’ll update you promptly. And as you can guess they never update me.

Ordered an item of 23rd Feb, asked to wait 8 weeks, waited and then chased for an order update. The company has since stopped communicating, taken my money and delivered no order. I would not recommend using this company.

I bought a product from them that has…

I bought a product from them that has defects and they don't want to change it or repair it even though it's under warranty, they keep sending me to talk to the manufacturer! They haven't done anything for 2 weeks! When I contacted the manufacturer, they confirmed that the product is no longer under factory warranty because it has expired 2 years from manufacture, but I bought it from this site 5 months ago! The biggest mistake is buying from them!

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking! Do not buy from this company!
Ordered a £200 Galaxy Samsung watch which does not work properly. After much going back and forth ( as they do not have a call centre just emails) Samsung themselves confirmed that the watch was registered to the Emirates and therefore would not configure its settings properly in the UK.
Our Friday said I would need confirmation of a defect to get it exchanged.
Samsung said I would need to pay them to do that as my warranty was invalid due to being a non EU product.
Obviously told Our Friday I was not prepared to pay for confirmation of what they already know. Totally black walled.
So if you buy from this company it is shoddy goods from abroad and they will not stand by their warranty and the manufacturer will not hold your warranty valid either as it is non EU. £200 down the drain.
I will be reporting to trading standards and HMRC.

I'm still waiting for my purchase

I'm still waiting for my purchase. There customer service team keep insisting to me it was delivered, but can't provide any proof of this. I'm £80 out of pocket from this robbing company.

I have used them for years and this…

I have used them for years and this year they have suddenly turned out to be different. I bought an Apple watch second refurbished from them and after a delay it finally arrived locked to someone else. Which means it’s probably stolen or lost. It’s still locked to the previous owner. Is have sent in 3 emails to date and heve not got a reply. They usually reply quite quickly. Something has gone wrong with the company this year. So beware and be prepared to face some issues from this company I will have to use a credit charge back from my bank to get my money back unless they resolve it quickly. I’m losing my patience.

Poor comms but have delivered

Although I did get my Canon lens today it has been really difficult to get info from this company regarding delivery. According to my account it still being processed? So it was a relief to find it on the door step when I got home. Another worry, it was left on the doorstep, £1600 worth of lens. Also the ‘packing’ is non existent, luckily the box was only slightly dented. I appreciate the price is very good but that wouldn’t have made up for a broken lens!
When they state 6-10 days delivery, that’s after they dispatch, not when you order. I ordered on the 18th and received on 31st, and I didn’t know it was coming today either.
Overall, great price and it got here, thank you. But it was a nervous wait! Thus the 2 stars off.

Very poor customer service

Ourfriday have refused to refund the cost of returning faulty goods in cash since November 2024, instead only offering a credit note. This goes against the Consumer Rights Act (2015). Since then, I have been locked into their automated customer services spiral, where the same answer is repeated and my questions are not addressed. Avoid at all costs.

Still no refund... 5 months later

Still no refund.... feedback such as "If you haven’t already received your refund, please reach out to us directly, and we will prioritize resolving this for you as quickly as possible" However..... you cant contact them and only get bot responses... I expect any good reviews are from their own bots as many people were experiencing the same as me Christmas. AVOID. Foreign goods, suspected counterfeit goods and no chance of a refund.... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE I BELIEVE THEM TO BE FAKE ELECTRICAL GOODS THEY CHARGE MORE AND SEND THE COMPLETE WRONG ITEMS. THE CAMERA TURNED UP TOO LATE AND WAS A CHEAPER CAMERA AS WELL AS THE WRONG COLOUR TO WHAT WE ORDERED. THEY OFFERED £10 REFUND DIFFERENCE EVEN THOUGH THE CAMERA IS AT LEAST £80 CHEAPER IN MOST PLACES I HAD TO PURCHASE MY OWN PLUG TO CHARGE AS IT WAS AN AMERICAN FITTING EVEN THOUGH STATES UK. NO ENGLISH INSTRUCTIONS OR INFORMATION. WHEN I RAISED A COMPLAINT FOR FULL REFUND AND RETURN ITEM THEY SENT EMAILS TO AGREE FOR A GOOD OUTCOME IF I WANTED TO KEEP THE CAMERA, STUPIDLY I AGREED AS MY DAUGHTER NEEDED THIS CAMERA FOR ANOTHER OCCASION AND NOW OFFERED £10. SCAM ALERT

I was really worried about purchasing off this website but after seeing the reviews on here I decided to give it a try. I purchased a set of headphones yesterday (24/03) and no surprises, the money was taken but I received no order number or email confirmation. I sent an email within 10 minutes of ordering to ask what’s happened and why I never received any receipt information and I got one email response asking me for more details i.e order number, email address used etc. I told them I don’t have any order numbers which was the problem but that I took a screenshot of the email confirming the order had gone through and I also sent them a screenshot of the payment taken from my account and do you think I’ve heard anything from them since?? I’ve sent 3 emails since then and nothing!!

This was a gift for my son which I need by Sunday and now I have to buy it again!

AVOID THIS COMPANY! I THINK THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY!!!!

Update 26/03: Turns out they’re not a scam, they just don’t send items out. I ended up ordering the product twice because I had to open up a dispute to get a refund for my first order because of the radio silence from the email I raised with them and then I receive an email to say that the second order (this one actually went through) was cancelled because “logistics error combined with unforeseen circumstances that have made it impossible for us to fulfil your order.” I just had a feeling this website was too good to be true when they chopped the price in half. Just avoid guys. I don’t think they actually have anything available. Thankfully I will say, they have refunded me.
