It made it harder for companies to pressure consumers into buying something that "wasn't quite right" or not exactly what they wanted. Our goal is to give people the chance to explore what furniture makes them feel good in their home and to perhaps give buying online a try for the first time. If you are someone who appreciates having the time, space and advice to explore possibilities of what you might buy, then maybe Out & Out Original is for you. If you've ever been that person who's checked the internet to learn more about a product or even price check whilst in a store, then Out & Out Original is definitely for you! We know at times it feels safer to buy from the known establishment or even to get sucked in to buying something not quite right, but before you do that, try to remember the last time you explored and tried something new and how liberating it felt. AVOID - Not worth the hassle

Ordered items back on May 4th after multiple delays latest was that we would be called on 14th and delivered by the 21st August (original delivery date was 14th June) Low and behold we still have not had it delivered. Multiple calls to a line that cuts you off immediately and an email chain where responses have become non existent - we have no idea what is going on. Communication is absolutely shambles and now the website is down I am becoming very concerned. *just found out company has gone into insolvency

CEASED TRADING

Ordered some Garden Dining Furniture last week so it should have arrived Saturday 17th August.
Nothing. No reply to my email a few days ago so I've just emailed again and just received an email saying,
"It is with regret that, due to market pressures, the business has ceased trading; please direct your enquiries to Castle Hill Insolvency at outandout(at)castlehillinsolvency.com"
So, looks like they are still taking money even when they've ceased trading. I mean the order confirmation confirms the items have shipped!
BE WARNED.

Ordered furniture in May

Ordered furniture in May, advised it was no longer available in July. Told I would now receive a refund, it is now 21/8 & I still haven't received my refund. I have now reported company to Trading Standards.

Terrible customer service

We ordered Palma furniture at the end of July with a pre order date from 14th August. Since the confirmation email when we bought the furniture, we have had NO contact from them. I have emailed a few times and rang numerous times (I’ve lost count) to be cut off every time. I understand they are busy but customers need to be updated. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Avoid

Placed my pre-order at the start of June expecting part of the order the end of June and the rest the end of July. I received an email towards the end of July giving me a two week window for delivery in August which has now elapsed with no further contact. I cannot get a response via email, and am unable to get through on telephone. Unsure what to do as the website is now down for maintenance stating the store is closed.

If only I could give zero stars!

If only I could give zero stars!! Do not use this company. Absolute scam. The reviews were OK when I ordered the Palma set back in June but the last few weeks if waiting I've seen nothing but awful experiences from other customers. I knew we'd have to wait a while as it was a pre-order, but the expected delivery dates on the website kept changing and was getting more and more concerned. Cannot get through on phone. No response to emails. And now the website has shut down. Absolutely gutted!!! I've raised a query with PayPal and I'm just praying I get my money back. Please do not use this company. I can't believe they're still advertising on Facebook etc. I'm so upset that I, and everyone else it seems, have parted with their hard earned money to this absolute scam.

Edited to add: thankfully PayPal gave now refunded me.

Very Stressful to deal with - avoid

I initially ordered mid May with an expected delivery date of 3rd June - finally got it June 27th. I had paid for assembly but when it arrived it didn't require any assembly so I requested a refund - I was promised my refund of £79.95 on July 2nd and was told it would take 7-15 days to process but am still waiting.
Customer service with this company is appalling.
They don't answer the phone - you are told to communicate via email but they don't respond to that either. I was dealing with a rep called Albert who initially appeared to be helpful but fails to deliver on any promise. While the furniture is OK I would strongly recommend that you avoid any dealing with them as once they have your money they just don't care. I am now thinking of issuing a small claims case
because of the principal of the issue.

The review email arrived day before…

The review email arrived day before delivery was due . There was a note that followed to say may be early so I thought ok and waited . However after four weeks no delivery and no explanation . I have cancelled the delivery with the courier company at their suggestion but still have to get hold of Out and Out for credit . Sadly no response by email and cannot get through by telephone . Now having to go through bank for refund . I am sure they are just delayed but with no correspondence from them difficult to rate them .

Rubbish customer service and still no product.

My order which was placed in may and promised in June is still outstanding and no one answres the phone. I had the wiedest reply to an email saying "it should delivered in time to enjoy last weeks good weather" but no response to my last 3. Im at the stage of wanting a refund as the summers nearly gone. I just had a report back saying "Address Not Found" from the address they messaged my from!

Terrible customer service

We ordered a garden furniture set in April with the delivery date given as end of May. By July we still had not received our furniture and we had received limited info about when expected. Customer services never answer their phone lines and I’ve sent so many emails requesting info and eventually a refund. It’s been nearly 4 weeks since I was promised a refund and still no sign of my money being refunded. Manager was due to call me back today but no response. Such awful customer service.

Say yourself any hassle and AVOID

I ordered off Out&Out in March 2024 and was promised delivery of my goods in May but when in June I still hadn’t received any update I was informed that due to the situation in the Middle East all deliveries were experiencing a delay so I decided to go for a refund. In August I received an email offering some sale items that were in stock so I tried again and was given a delivery date 2 days from when I placed the order so I thought all was good. The delivery company said they would give me delivery time details the night before they deliver but as I hadn’t received anything I chased up. The delivery company came back to me saying they had been some issues with the supplier and i needed to contact Out&Out directly, I’ve tried calling and emailing but after 2 weeks I am yet to have a response. Given I can’t get hold of them I have contacted my credit card company and blocked the payment.

AVOID!

AVOID!
I never received the patio furniture after 5 months of excuses and chasing and the had to go to my bank for a refund after repeated promises to refund that were never completed!
Same story with a second order.
Will never use them again.

Beware

This company appears to provide very good value outdoor furniture. However, they clearly are far more focused on getting orders in and payments then actually delivering the goods. I ordered a corner sofa set over two months ago and nothing has appeared yet. They send various upbeat emails telling you that it is arriving in the UK, but as yet, no trustworthy information on when it will actually be delivered. I feel very disappointed that I’ve made a big mistake ordering something with this company.

Do not use this company

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I placed an order on the 11th June, ordering items which did state that pre-order stock is due by approximately 30th Jun 2024. We still haven’t received our order.

I received an update in July giving me a 2 week window of delivery in August. Those dates have come and now mostly gone.

You cannot get a response on phone. Their Instagram comments are turned off…. Probably for a reason.

Basically faceless.. No chance of contacting them unless they want to contact you

Waited 5 months for furniture to arrive
Arrived August badly damaged also with no fixings to assemble furniture.
Filled out complaints form and zero response
Stick with local trusted supplies.. Do not get mugged like I have
