About Oxbury Bank Plc
Written by the company
Oxbury Bank was founded to provide the food and farming industries with the funding and support that they need. We are extremely positive about the future of agriculture and the opportunities available for the sector.
Every pound saved with Oxbury goes to help farmers and the wider market produce food, preserve the countryside and deliver a positive impact to the rural economy. We’re a bank that wants to see farming businesses thrive, together we can make that happen.
For most banks, farming is only a small part of their business. At Oxbury, it is what we do.

Frustrating online experience!
Not the best online experience with this bank. Doesn't always show all accounts in the app. Cannot create new accounts in the app, so need to log onto a desktop. Difficulty in accessing personal account on a desktop, as it first brings up security features and registering a mobile phone, and asks you to go back to the app. Except as you already are registered on the app, you don't then receive the required screen! All really frustrating, and need to ring customer services, or simply give up and open an account elsewhere instead
Great rates, easy to use
Easy to use app/desktop combo, simple to register and invest funds, and one of the best rates on the market. I mean, what else do you want?
Good rates
Good rates, this is my second time of using them and hopefully will do so again.
Website is straight forward and easy to…
Website is straight forward and easy to navigate. They opened the account within days. The interest rate is competitive.
Good on-line platform that's UK based.
Easy on-line application process
Easy on-line application process. Liked the security and the easy to understand instructions.
Real people speak to you.
I was able clarify some issues by actually speaking to a real person. Hope it stays that way.
Absolutely easy to use website
Absolutely easy to use website. Information is clear and you can find what you are looking for.
Thank you so much!
Quick and efficient
Easy to open the account, quick response from Customer Services regarding a couple of questions, good rate of interest.
Nice and easy to use at first but...
Nice and easy to use at first but as mentioned by other reviewers, Oxbury are slow to offer a move to a higher interest account.
This review was triggered after receiving an email summarising better rate accounts (with Oxbury) but why can't these be offered as an immediate switch, rather than us having to wait the full notice period?
Yes, it will be in teh Ts&Cs but it feels like customer service has dipped.
Also:
1. We can't now open a new account using the App; and
2. When accessed from a PC, the web page requires users to log verify using teh App, which does not work.

Sharp practice
Oxbury never miss a chance to cash-in at the expense of their customers.
Take their notice accounts which, since interest rates started falling, have become base rate trackers.
That means they can cut the interest you receive in double-quick time,
They didn't do that though when the Bank of England was putting the base rate up.
No, not at all. What they did then was launch a new account at an enhanced rate, leaving existing customers on the lower rate for three months or more.
Other institutions, including OakNorth, have also jumped on the tracker bandwagon.
Thankfully though, there are still reputable providers out there. Several in fact, offering traditional notice accounts where the interest rate remains unchanged often for four months or even more.
So don't buy that stuff from Oxbury and others about the customer coming first. They don't.
UPDATE: What a meaningless, self-serving response from Oxbury.
Yes, I have a suggestion.
When the base rate starts an up cycle perhaps you can continue to offer tracker notice accounts.
No, of course you won't.

These guys seem to be a decent bunch
These guys seem to be a decent bunch, they have good interest rates and an easy to use ap. Their communications are quick and easy and withdrawals are sent when expected which is the one thing you really want guaranteed!
Easy to use
Easy to use. Had the best interest rates at the time of opening the six accounts I have had. Martin Lewis (who I follow avidly) recommends you.
Oxbury Bank
I found from joining everything has been well laid out app is easy to navigate.
such an easy bank to deal with
Offered a good rate for existing customers
Offered a competitive rate for existing customers which I appreciated and certainly led to me staying with them rather than leaving once the initial deal ended.
Find the app very easy to use and when I had to call to change my instructions as I couldn't do it myself, the customer service was excellent : answered promptly, they were patient, courteous and v efficient.
