I did the six month subscription and was very pleased with the experience. I only exchanged one selection; the others I enjoyed or am excited/willing to read, even though I might not have picked them for myself. I also appreciated the unintentional (or was it?) greenish color scheme to the covers of my books... If you’re a picky reader like myself, just be as clear as possible about your tastes when joining and communicate with the team as you go.

The first book I received with my subscription box was one I had never heard of and one that has become one of my favorites. The second book has just arrived and seems perfect for me as well! I am so excited to see what else Page1 has in store for me. By far the best subscription box I have bought.

Excellent service! Fantastic customer service, a lot of transparency, and stellar book matchmaking. It's scary how well they can match books with my tastes.

As my partner will tell anyone- I LOVE presents. Not just presents, but surprises. Sadly, he is not one for providing such gift fun. When I found the Page 1 subscription I was hesitant, I am an avid reader in the best of times and now- in the “worst”- am reading more than ever. I felt a little guilty signing up, worrying they’d send a too obvious pick I had already ordered. My first subscription book was one I already was in the middle of reading upon receiving, but it wasn’t an obvious choice and truly was a fantastic read. They sent me a replacement kindly and quickly and I am LOVING IT. Had never heard of it, loved the cover, loved the description and am half way through and so, so glad I bought this subscription for myself. There is so much thought and work and heart going into every choice. I cannot thank them enough for providing such a service.

Buy this for yourself, or a book loving friend you hate trying to impress.

I have mixed feelings about "Bluff" by Jane Stanton Hitchcock. The plot was awesome, the book was well written, and my attention to it was riveting. However, what I didn't like about it is the crude/curse words in it which were a regular diet throughout. I skipped over those, but they are still in my mind which I don't like. Please consider these feelings in the next book you send. Thanks. Alice

For the most part I have received books that I really enjoyed reading, but the first and last I received were pretty awful. The most recent book wasn't even a novel, it was a reimagining of classic characters and authors...in text message format. Definitely not something I wanted or needed. The sad thing is that when you get a bomb like that, it means a whole month down the tube so to speak. But, as I said, most of the books I've received have been pretty good.

I was nervous about them picking a book I would love, I even have trouble finding books I love. Yet, my first book is unbelievably perfect! I can not wait to finish it and am even more excited for my next box. I am about to purchase a subscription for my sister and extend my subscription!

I received my first box and I was not very pleased with their selection. But as promised, as soon as I reached out to them, they went above and beyond to make me a happy customer. They were prompted to respond my emails and made the right questions to make a better selection. Today I got my book replacement and I'm loving their choice. Definitely would recommend it and kudos to their customer service !

I love the uniqueness of this experience. The books are picked for you based on your interests. I’m reading books I might never have considered. And...don’t like a book or already read it, they’ll send you another and encourage you to give the first one away. Yes, you don’t have to send it back! What’s not to love here!!!

Two of the items in the box were broken, they were not wrapped well to protect them from breakage. other than that everything was nice.

Every time I have received a book I already own, they have sent me a replacement hassle free! Great company, good communication and perfect customer service!
