I made two separate orders for paintnuts base coat spray cans, using both the car reg and paint code from inside the car door. Both paints were the wrong colour, a slightly similar shade, but definitely NOT a ‘perfect match’!
All the other conditions were great, temperature was warm, inside a clean, dry garage, body work was sanded and clean, spray cans were warmed and well-shaken before/between each spray.
I also ordered a touch up pen. This was also a different shade/colour. The fine nib is ok for some scratches but the mini brush is awful. Don’t use it, it won’t blend at all.
The paintnuts lacquer spray is also not good. The nozzles block quickly making the spray uneven. If you are looking for a 2K (high gloss/new car) finish do not buy their standard lacquer.
Very disappointing and a waste of money.

I ordered a touch up paint stick through my Amazon account and gave my vehicle registration and clearly showed colour red. The order was as passed and sent to paintNuts. Guess what they sent BLACK. Thankfully Amazon and their customer service was excellent and refunded my payment. Out of curiosity I sent a email to PaintNuts simply asking why black was sent instead of red. They acknowledged receipt and said they would investigate and reply in either one day a or a few days. Eight days later I am still waiting for their reply and I even sent a follow up email. No answer still. Now I never complained about their product non received, however I thought a simple answer to my one question would be easy. Clearly not.
Beware no customer service and inability to pick and send the right colour paint.

Quick service, hassle free. Pre delivery advice on how to use product was a nice touch.

I found that the whole process was very easy to complete

I ordered paint from PaintNuts to respray my red bonnet white, and the colour match was absolutely perfect! The coverage went on smoothly, the finish looks great, and you honestly can’t tell it was a different colour before. Super impressed with the quality and accuracy of the paint – it made the whole job so much easier. Definitely recommend PaintNuts if you’re looking for a spot-on colour match and reliable service!

Ordered the galvanic gold for my BMW x2, delivery was quick enough but the colour was no where near a match, was going to chase up, but after reading the reviews I don't think I'll bother, will probably be told it's my fault for not mixing properly

I bought a repair set my car, all good day 1. Day 2 I received an email asking me for a paint code (already purchased it, but obliged). Day 2 - received the same generic email, I started to get annoyed. Day 4 - received an apology email that my colour is not is stock and I'll receive a refund. Fast forward 3 weeks later, I received an email that my refund request is approved and I shall get my refund in X working days, which will bring the whole experience to 1 month full circle.
I think the nuts in the name must be from a severe allergy the company offers to customers, or the experience similar to being kicked in the nuts, or the feeling that someone annoying is driving you nuts, but DEFINITELY NOT something like you drive me nuts, this is the best thing ever. For me, my experience is similar to a serious allergy, what was yours?

They say colour match from v5! The paint couldn’t be further from the original colour but they won’t accept that the colour is wrong even though sending them photos of the colour not matching they’ve got every excuse that’s its user error and not that they’ve sent me the wrong colour!

Poor Customer Service throughout.
Paid for express service as I needed the paint by a certain date.
I ordered and then emailed to confirm this, and was told yes.
Came to that date and nothing arrived, called up and they said it hadn't been sent yet.
Attitude of customer service was uncaring and rude.
I explained they had potentially cost me £100s as a result of this. Said they'd refund me the £3 for express delivery.
Really poor, it didn't even arrive the next day, it arrived 2 days later.
Never use them for anything
The paint I received under the paint match guarantee was a completely different colour (and metallic) paint to my car.
In addition, Evri let PaintNuts down with the Next Day delivery of my parcel - PaintNuts did send me another, so I ended up waiting over a week from order to delivery, despite paying extra for speedy delivery.
The main issue with this order is that once I did receive the touch up pens and reported that they were the wrong colour, my emails requesting a refund have been ignored.
I have sent 5 emails since the 31st July and was met with suggestions such as "remix the paint" and "try again". I needed the paint to sell my car, so lost money on the sale as the pens were the wrong colour and I had waited that long for them that I couldn't rectify this in time.
I have now ordered,2 paint touch up pens, for different cars, from this company & both times, the colour match has been perfect . The whole process is so easy, just put your reg in & they do the rest . Delivered in a week & excellent value. Well done Paintnuts

Updated to 3 star. Sent a replacement after a couple of weeks chasing. Needs improvement on customer service and tracking updates

Sent the wrong colour, supposed to be dark brown but sent red. They asked for picture of labels, which I sent, then nothing, chased up and nothing, no replies, terrible service. Well - no service.
Perfect colour match. Very quick delivery fully recommend this seller
Excellent product matches colour request 👌
Would give 0 stars if I could.
The whole premise is that they colour match your paint based on the reg. I inputted the reg, they sent the wrong colour. Can't get hold of them for a refund or anything.
Terrible effort and even worse customer service.
Was sent the wrong item initially but that was sorted with no fuss. The colour is an exact match and I'm really happy with it. Highly recommended.
Prompt service and quick dispatch. However after providing car registration number and paint code the colour doesn't quite match.
very easy to source product @ reasonable price
great match , only negative was it took a long time to get delivered
