Lack of monitoring rooms. People kill themselves on webcam with no care in the world from this company.. Men permanently on webcam doing unspeakable things to teenagers there is just no care from any support on this program

Excellent application to be used by good friends and family

Paltalk has numerous SEX rooms where women perform sexual acts for money exchanges. There are plenty of people doing illegal activities without any consequences. The only reason these chatrooms exist is because they are the 24/7 home to various criminals who use it to communicate with each other, scammers from India and other countries. So many illegal activities to list, no one monitors anything. Plenty of people complain to Paltalk about being ripped off or scammed by others. Paltalk doesn't get involved. Recently Paltalk sold shares to fund some of their developments and now they have fallen drastically - to under $4.15. Palt shares will continue to fall. People are starting to read real reviews on Paltalk and work out it is nothing but a place were scammers and criminals reside to play innocent people out of money. Please be careful there's so many hackers and people stealing your details, hacking your emails, facebook, or any other social media account you own. It's dangerous to be in any of these chatrooms. Various gangs operate to do romance scams, gofundme scams, and the gangs are continually trying to lure new chatters and they find out all their information and use it against them. It is a really sad place to chat please for your own sake keep out. There's so many false reviews where Paltalk gets 5/5 but that's just their silly marketing this program isn't worth a 1/5. It's definitely a ZERO. I really feel sorry for people who think this chat has any value, worth or purpose. The majority of people on Paltalk are there for one purpose, to scam. I hope someone reads my warning and refrains from downloading this program which derives it's monetary profits from porn and sex rooms. It is very scary that people rate Paltalk 5/5 when this chat domain has various serious problems. I would think the scammers and criminals will want to rate Paltalk a high score to keep their home alive. However Paltalk history is shocking and there's more than a few people that have died from being cyberbullied or have been murdered in real time. Please do your own research. This program is extremely toxic - make sure you don't rely on silly scammers or criminals or paid marketing reviews that rate Paltalk highly and look at the fact that there's being suicides in Paltalk and other terrible things that have happened as a result of being a Paltalk member, there's people that have been murdered for their beliefs. Although I can't 100% prove it, I wouldn't be surprised if there's illicit drugs sold on Paltalk or if there's a human trafficking gang operating. There's too many nasty and toxic people that operate there 24/7 monitoring who's new and how they can target them. Paltalk profits appear to be from the stickers and colored nicknames they sell but that's not the case. Beware if you do decide to download it, gangs will target you, will hack your computer, and steal from you. Beware of giving any of your personal details and make sure, you do not open your messages to strangers there, they will hack your cam, bank details, photos, etc. Those that give positive reviews on this program have a vested interest in it. There's too many negatives about this program for any positivity to exist. There's so many lurkers in each room waiting for a newbie to join so they can target them, groom them and steal from them, or scam money from them. Please never ever use this platform as a dating site. It's extremely dangerous, no one is screened at all.

If you can find some friends and a half-way decent room, then you could be content for a while. Those places, however, are few-and-far-between.

Paltalk loves to advertise that they have over 100,000 people online at any given time, but you will only ever see a small fraction in your own language. Even then, the rooms are plagued with people coming online just to masturbate on cam, play pornographic videos, or harass foreigners. I supposed they can't be blamed for other people's actions but considering how trivially easy it is to sign up for an account, it makes me wonder if they allow this behavior just to keep their numbers up. Read the other reviews of people's experience and you'll begin to see a trend.

Be very careful if you plan on spending any money with Paltalk as you will find them to be very money hungry and quite nefarious in their methods for getting it from you. Once you spend your money, you might as well consider it gone and try to get as much use out of it as you can because they love to tout "all sales are final" when you realize you've been duped. Also, Paltalk is headquartered in Istanbul so your options are very limited if you want to try and recover your hard-earned cash.

Virtual gifts and virtual credits are temporary and they don't tell you that until AFTER you've bought them! So, if you spend $150 to buy 5,000 credits, you only have 30 days to use them before they take them from you. Even if you do use them, say on virtual gifts to give people, those gifts are also temporary and will expire leaving you with absolutely nothing for your investment. Also, when you're purchasing your credits, you have to manually OPT-OUT from them automatically renewing your purchase after you've used them up or they've expired.

Their credits are massively inflated. 5,000 credits at $150 means you spent around $0.33 per credit. Now, to gift someone an Extreme subscription' for ONE MONTH, you would have to use 3,042 credits (roughly $92) whereas buying (in cash) someone the same subscription for an ENTIRE YEAR, would only cost you $59.95. You would have spent 53% more for a drastically shorter subscription than you would have just by paying with cash.

One more note on purchasing, if you buy anything (credits, colored nicks, rooms, etc), and then the next day they decide to run a sale, you're locked into your original purchase with the familiar "all sales are final" response. They will not refund you the difference, and they will not add your purchase to the sale. You are stuck with what you got.

Be careful with the rooms you're visiting. There are a small handful of fairly decent rooms, but this place is ripe with people who are only online just to insult you. Given that, and the fact that the majority of the rooms are nothing but music rooms, it can take you quite a long time to find somewhere worth your while.

If you do decide to try out Paltalk, I wish you the best of luck and hope you find somewhere good to settle into. However, be careful with what you talk about as the veterans may warn that Paltalk is rumored to ban people (with no refund) for talking about other chat platforms.

The app is terrible!! Almost impossible to scroll in rooms!

You are doing so badly, I can't use paltak for 2 years until now. No sound coming from any room. I have tried tens of times without any success. I don't know why always the upgrade and the new version is with less quality than the old versions

There is a lot of bad people in there . Coursing , bulling , calling names . And more .there is no free gifts that will make more people to come to the paltalk . And the gifts in there are expensive

I have nothing to add but the overwhelming ads, it should be more user friendly, I can't connect to a room without facing an ad that I can't skip, and sometimes it auto clicks which is irritating.
