I had a rather dirty old rug, bought from a junk shop, and now it is beautifully clean, with vibrant colours. Arash tells me it's a good quality Turkish carpet, and worth a lot more than I paid for it.
When I first packed up the rug and sent it on its way to Pars, the lack of any communication was concerning, as I had no idea whether it had arrived, and when, or even if, I could expect to see it again, but I needn't have worried, and I'm very happy with the outcome.

We are very pleased with them and they have already been admired by our family and visitors. We were particularly impressed by your willingness to allow us to try a choice of rugs in situ and your patience during the whole selection process. Pars rugs gallery cleaned two of my kilim rugs. I hadn't realised how dirty they had become until they were returned beautifully clean. They just seemed like brand new rugs. The colours were incredibly vibrant and the crease in one of them had been removed. Thanks

I can’t recommend Pars more highly if you are looking for a rug. We didn’t really know what we wanted so Arash brought a selection, including some beautiful antique rugs and a number of kelims. We settled on a gorgeous kelim which now has pride of place in our cottage in Hartley Wintney

The rugs went to Pars for cleaning and restoration. They were in a sorry state: eaten by moths, with worn and torn spots. I just got them back, looking absolutely splendid! I cannot see the repairs at all: they were able to do the matching beautifully, even for large worn spots. They kept me informed and consulted throughout. Equally good work on three different rug types. Bravo!

On a Sunday afternoon, I rang the Pars Gallery in Southampton to leave a message about an oriental rug I wanted repaired. As expected, no one answered but Arash, the charming Iranian who set up the business 15 years ago, rang back within minutes with suggestions. I would save the £20 collection fee if I brought the rug to his Hungerford depot. Before I could do that, he called again to say he’d be coming to pick it up for free. As he did. The rug was laid out on the gravel, photographed and valued around £10,000 when fully restored by Pars; I was thinking of £100 to stitch up the tattered ends. £1500 lowest price for a more comprehensive stitch up, said Arash, the most consummate of salesman. £1100 was eventually agreed. I paid half and he left with the rug. No promised pictures, no paperwork, no news for 10 days. I rang again. Unsurprisingly there was no reply. However Arash rang back immediately, supplied pictures and paperwork and repairs continued. And so to delivery day? Not quite. For a further “last price” £890, my rug would be perfect, all holes and bare patches fully restored. We eventually agreed on. £690. So I am £1,740 poorer, but the proud owner of a beautiful rug. Thank you Arash for the life lessons, the drama and the impeccable work.

The Pars team did a great job restoring the colour to my Turkish silk carpet. I really thought that it had been ruined. Great job!

Arash and his team did a superb restoration on a Senneh Kelim that had been badly chewed by a mischevious Collie. You cannot tell where the repair is. Real skill!

Requested a quote from Pars for rug cleaning, which I received (although addressed to the wrong person). Followed up a couple times with some questions to confirm the service, but no response. Disappointing.
