The vacuum had made a mess of the border of a Turkish rug, not ancient but bought on a memorable holiday. The result Arash and his team have achieved is spectacular. Our guilt over the abuse it has suffered over the years is now redeemed and we can tread with confidence that it can be passed on the next generation without shame!

This guy, Arash, is a charmer, British educated, honest and very professional. My old Bukhara about 150 years old was in poor condition and is today remarkably and beautifully restored.

Excellent service from Arash, he showed us lots of rugs and spent time explaining where they came from and also listening to what we were looking for. We didn’t feel at all rushed or under pressure to buy and when we found the perfect one he let us take it home on trial to make sure we were happy. Just brilliant, I highly recommend this company.

My secondhand Turkish rug was grubby and damaged - a 3 inch tear on one corner; I had it cleaned, supposedly “deep cleaned” by a local company only to find on its return that there was substantial moth damage in around 20 - 30 areas which I had not previously noticed.
To arrange for its repair I contacted Arash at Pars Rug Gallery who, on receiving the rug, assured me that although recently cleaned, the service had been less than thorough and, importantly, had not provided any mothproofing against future potential attacks.
The rug was re-cleaned by Pars, and I have to say that an improvement was immediately noticeable; they also
made perfectly invisible repairs to both the ripped corner and all the moth damaged areas. The company couldn’t be rushed … in my case the whole service took over 2 months, but the results were both thorough and professional. If you have such a rug (Persian, Iranian or Turkish etc.) which you both value and treasure, and which needs tlc, cleaning and/or repair, I can sincerely recommend you contact Arash at Pars Rug Gallery. Truly professional.

Last Xmas I discovered to my horror my beautiful rug and been eaten by moths. Although to say they had eaten it was an understatement. They had left no corner unturned in their quest. Heartbroken, I started to contemplate the fate of my rug and our relationship, when along came my Knight in shining armour, Arash of Pars Rug Gallery, and his busy team of helpers.
The painstaking process of rug resurrection began with a thorough deep cleaning wash to kill off any remaining moths and larvae. Then came the slow but thorough process of removing any loose fibers. Perfectly matched wool was chosen and then hand dyed to match the wool in my carpet. And finally a good haircut to match the length of pile.
I really can't see where old carpet meets new.
This really has been a truly magical experience from end to end.

I was owner of a century old Kazakh tribal rug bought in my travels in the 1990s. To my shame it was infected with moth. I found Pars Rug Gallery on the internet and have had personal attention over the year of cleaning by Arash at Pars in regard to restoration by carpet weavers in Iran. I am absolutely delighted that I have put right the rug that was in my care.

Excellent workmanship! Our rug had a small hole and it’s been repaired to a very high standard. We can’t see the repair and are absolutely delighted. For obvious reasons, I hope we don’t need to contact them again but would definitely use them again if we had too!

Pars Rug Gallery is amazing. They have repaired a very precious rug so that it really looks brand new. The deep clean has given the rug a new lease of life. I loved the way the rug was booked in, lots of photos and details taken. Great communications, got regular updates on progress. Our new puppy almost completely destroyed our antique Caucasian Karabagh rug - one corner (10cm x 3cm totally missing and a 30cm gash in the middle of the rug. Pars Rug repaired it to perfection and we would recommend them without reservation - an honest and trustworthy company.

Pars Rug Gallery provided an excellent service when restoring an hundred year old antique rug originally from Pakistan and purchased by my late parents when they were stationed in Karachi in 1935. The rug was in a poor state of repair with holes ,multiple tears and general wear and tear which rendered it unusable as it was falling to pieces. The antique rug was despatched to Teheran where a team of skilled craftsmen were employed to mend the whole piece and restore it to its former glory as it is very brightly coloured and heavily patterned. The result has been outstanding. The rug now graces our small sitting room and is admired by all. There are no traces of its former deterioration and the colours are alive, vibrant and have been beautifully matched. The whole piece has been restored with exceptional attention to detail showing care and skill. Throughout Pars Rug Gallery has been attentive, punctual and consummately professional.

My beautiful wool/silk Kashmiri rug suffered extensive damage on one side from water dripping through the ceiling onto it (a broken toilet upstairs). Not only did it require cleaning but the restoration of the threads seemed to me impossible. However Pars Gallery have restored it to its stunning former glory and I am delighted.

We found Pars Rug Gallery by searching the internet. As we had four antique carpets that has been in the family for the past 150 years with great monetary and sentimental values was most difficult to give all four at the same time. However, Arash dealt in a most professional way. Initially our antique Persian Zieglar was collected in September 2021 where within the few days he provided video and detailed written report with over twenty images before cleaning and restoration with quotation. Throughout the past 10 months we were supplied with videos whilst it was being repaired. (Most professional).
We have had our antique carpet delivered last week, and absolutely delighted.
Now we feel confident in Pars Rug Gallery and have given the other three carpets and hopping to receive them within the next 9 months.

We have had a late 19th century (inherited) Malayer Persian rug restored by Pars Rug Gallery and are delighted with the result. Substantial reconstruction was required which took considerable time. It is a work of art. Now we have asked Pars to market the rug on our behalf as it is too big for us to use.
Throughout we have been totally satisfied with Arash’s service, although he sometimes takes a while to respond to correspondence! He is clearly a busy man. Very professional.

We had a beautiful Persian naim rug that had sadly become damaged and in need of professional repair. It had suffered several tears and even had a hole in it.
One repairer told us it couldn’t be repaired and we thought it was next to worthless.
We contacted Pars gallery and they sent it for repair. When it was returned it had been rewoven in places, the fringes repaired and professionally cleaned. It looked beautiful and has recently been valued at £18000.
A great job and well worthwhile.

After passing the store a few times I finally popped in to view the wares. A warm welcome awaiting from Sam, a modern day Aladdin, who thoughtfully took me around and made sure no query went unanswered.

While there wasn’t anything that caught my eye that day, I did later bring in my late grandmothers antique Persian in for a spruce up and again received excellent, prompt service a fair price. Would definitely recommend!
