Bad warranties

I just want to let everyone know do not order from Parts Geek. I bought a set of rear brake caliper and pads.I called about the warranty. I had the parts installed 6 months ago by a mechanic. The driverside rear caliper was smoking and sticking. I was told I had to remove the set I bought to receive a refund. The Company would not send me a replacement caliper. I was also told I would have to pay shipping.

Partsgeek.com is unreliable

I had an extremely disappointing experience with PartsGeek.

My first order was unexpectedly canceled. When I called customer service to understand why, the representative was unable to provide any explanation or insight and the interaction was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had.

I decided to give the company a second chance and placed another order. Three days later, I received an email stating that the part was actually out of stock.

After two failed orders, poor communication, and a lack of inventory accuracy, I have completely lost confidence in this company. If you need a part quickly or expect reliable customer service, I would strongly recommend considering other retailers.

Order details and emails have been retained and can be provided if needed.

Bunch of crooks

So I called PartsGeek so that I can order the right parts for my suspension tie rods on my truck they sent me the parts and I can ask the correct because you know we talked on the phone right they know what they're doing. While I was wrong so I had to get parts right away and I paid three times as much as I would have going through another site but I trusted Park Geeks so I was stuck between a rock and hard race. So I called PartsGeek again to tell him what happened thinking hey they take care of me while the guy said yeah just leave on whatever you need and will give you money on the rest. While now I know that this is how they get you they're a crooked thieving company and they'll tell you the wrong things so that you can't return your products Shady Shady Shady company. Don't ever use them they'll send you the wrong stuff and then I'll trick you to keep them so you can't get your money back so not only are you paying quadruple for the parts you need but you'll also not get your money back because they'll tell you the wrong thing so that you have to keep it so shady man bunch of crooks I talk to you every management and they don't even care they that's how they keep their money that's how they keep going you see reviews like this about them all the time I promise you guys do not use them horrible company you get what you pay for you get Littlest Mountain but you don't get it back when they send you the wrong stuff and they'll send me the wrong stuff on purpose and then tell you the wrong things so you can't return it Shady company bunch of crooks I'll never use them again and I'm a right on every platform how horrible they are and how horrible they are with their customers. Hassle-free returns yeah right nothing but hassle you're the worst company I've ever dealt with when it comes to returns worse

PartsGeek supplies bad fitment information

PartsGeek has a limited search engine. Basically, you put in the year make and model of your vehicle and it gives you parts that supposedly fit your car. It does not require you to put in a VIN to get more specific search results, as more sophisticated sites are requiring you to do.
My experience with ordering brake parts at Partsgeek turned out disastrously and while they email you back about your concerns they basically work their system so that they end up being in the right.
Here is what happened: we had no idea if we needed vented or solid front rotors for this Cobalt. The site said these were solid rear rotors that fit the car. We knew there were no rear rotors on this vehicle and that was my mistake to not see this error of description on their as part of a bigger problem, but this make and model did not have rear rotors, so it seemed moot when ordering. The description for this part did not list an SS which does have rear rotors. The LS/LT did not take rear rotors or solid front rotors- so 2 errors in fitment description on their part. We needed the vented front rotors. That smacks culpability in my book there's something that they would not acknowledge.
Ultimately, all I was asking of them during the return process was to supply a return shipping label as I knew them to be culpable.
They refused to supply a return shipping label and did not acknowledge any culpability on their end for supplying incorrect information on their website. Clearly, they care little about how accurate their descriptions or fitment.
As I noted earlier they work you over until they end up in the right and you just give up, figuring it's better to get some money back than get stuck entirely. I suspect this is figured into their company mindset.
Cost: Brake parts were about $100, return shipping is going to be $42 and there is a restocking fee. Good for you Parts Geek, stealing money your customers. This is a company where you should exercise "buyer beware."

They sent out the wrong part

They sent out the wrong part. Even though I paid the shipping insurance, and sent them photographic proof, they refused to cross ship the correct part. Called customer service four times, each time they refused to provide a return shipping label, twice they hung up on me. It took over a week to get a shipping label from them. They then attempted to charge a restocking fee. Had to initiate a charge back on my credit card. This is not a reliable or trustworthy company. Avoid at all cost.

Worst customer service EVER!!!

This company has a lot of aftermarket parts for good prices. That's a pro! The con is if u need to return a part they will make u pay for shipping. Once they receive the part their going to send u a picture of the same part but a damaged one. This place can definitely be a rip off. When u try to contact someone & explain the problem they will hang up in your face. If u trying calling back they'll send to a message saying there'll having a large call volume 😆. When ur ordering a part there's never any large call volume at all. Be very careful ordering from this company. It's like gambling!! Maybe u win, maybe u lose! I want be ordering anything from them again. The choice is yours. Also if the part get lost, damaged or stolen their not responsible for the neither. SMH!!

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. Tried to cancel my order hours after placing the order and was told there is no way to cancel. Soooo if you place an order and need to cancel, be prepared to pay for shipping expenses for them to ship the order even if it hasn't left their warehouse and then shipping expenses to get the items back to them. What a scam. Terrible customer service.

I am extremely rual

I am extremely rual, as in, we have 911 adresses, not usps adresses, we cannot receive mail at home because there is no one to deliver it. This policy of not sending to a PO box is loosing lots of businesses their possible customers. Not to mention their customer sevice team is extremely dismissive, like they don't think they need anyone as a customer. Parts geeks has lost over a 600 dollar sale, with me, over this policy. I will not be doing any business with them again, I pray I get my refund

Ordered a A/C compressor and been a week went to tracking and it was moving slow.( i never heard of this shipping company before) it would make it to a next location and stay 5 to 7 days.
Then, it was at one location for ten days. I contacted them and just got a runaround and said there was nothing they could do. Make this short, this happen for 29 days later, they said they're finally going to give me a refund.
If you get lucky and get your part, they're good. But anything happens. You're on your own.

Disaster of a order.

I ordered a part for my car. I paid for expedited shipping and added shipping protection. Something that was supposed to be delivered in a week took over a month, and then when it got to me, it was an empty box. After week three, I contacted support because I was watching it be shipped all over the place. Finally, it was shipped to Tampa, FL, which is an hour away from me,then back to Georgia, which was a whole other state. They were basically useless. They told me because I paid for shipping protection, I could claim it, which I did, but what they don't tell you is, for one, you don't get the money you paid for expedited shipping back, and what they do give you back is credit to their store. With such issues, I wanted to go through a different company. I expressed this to them, and they said they would have management contact me as they weren't available for the day. Surprise no one ever contacted me.

Bad Return Policy, Unhelpful Customer Service

I experienced a mistake with USPS and was forced to order the same item twice. I resolved my issue with USPS within one hour of my purchase and called trying to cancel the order. I was told there was nothing I could do despite a tracking label not being generated yet. I was told someone would reach out to me and they did not so upon calling back, the package had been shipped and there was nothing they can do for me. The customer service team is not remotely helpful and were able to offer me nothing to compensate for the time or money wasted. They charge a 20% restocking fee that is non-negotiable. They had had my business for years and I will never be buying from this company again.

Charged re-stocking fee for deceptive compatibility misrepresentation

Just received my 2nd order from Parts Geek. 2nd time an item was advertised to fit my vehicle and it does not. They charged me a re-stocking fee again for a fitment that was mis-represented and incorrect. Attempts to call in and correct have been left unresolved by disconnected phone calls and representatives that pretend they cannot hear you on the phone.
