I ordered a truck part from Parts Geek, and unfortunately the package was lost by UPS. While I understand that shipping carriers sometimes lose packages, my frustration is with how the sit... See more

Charged re-stocking fee for deceptive compatibility misrepresentation
Just received my 2nd order from Parts Geek. 2nd time an item was advertised to fit my vehicle and it does not. They charged me a re-stocking fee again for a fitment that was mis-represented and incorrect. Attempts to call in and correct have been left unresolved by disconnected phone calls and representatives that pretend they cannot hear you on the phone.
I wouldn't purchase from this company
I wouldn't purchase from this company. You have to pay for shipping for returns and they charge you a %20 restocking fee. My son bought a timing chain kit for $265. He was charged $75 for a restocking fee. You're better off going to autozone, advanced auto/O'Reilly. I would not recommend.
Absolutely the worst experience
Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had from a parts store,
I tried to cancel my order and they told me they couldn’t cancel it the day after I ordered. They told me I had to wait until I received the part, pay for shipping to ship it back which is almost $200 (paid 160 for it), and also pay a restocking fee of $30, they also gave me a time limit to get the part back to them.
I know they do this on purpose to fck people into keeping the parts and then keeping your money.
I will NEVER use this company again and I’ll tell everyone I know to never use this waste of a parts store. I’m out over $160 with a part I can’t use.
Lift Gate Actuators…
I ordered a pair of Lift Gate Actuators for a 2017 Tucson. I received one of the pair. Like buying a pair of shoes and receiving the left one. Initially, I called and asked that they send the missing one. They said, No, you have to return the one and reorder the set. I have called, emailed, tried to fill out their form that doesn’t work, to get an RMA. They will not issue one. At this point I’ve paid for two actuators, have one and cannot do the repair. I’ve spent over $300 and have nothing to show for it.
WATCH THE CHARGE ON YOUR CREDIT CARD!
WATCH THE CHARGE ON YOUR CREDIT CARD!! 2 weeks ago I ordered one part for totaling $79.60 & have a screenshot of what my card was supposed to be charged. the very next day my card was charged $239.10. So I called they told me that I would have to wait to receive the order and if there was any extra items, I would have to submit them back to get my refund. Weird but ok.so I called they helped me with the Refund process. I got 2! They sent an email saying that I would be charged 20% to return the items that I did not order. I said that doesn’t sound right; even though I ended up having to return the part I actually ordered I told him I should only be charged the 20% for the one item. Not both! I literally ask to send proof of what was supposed to be to be charged they decline me to do that. Made no sense I could prove I only order the 1 . They didn’t care!!! Person I spoke to says management says there’s nothing I can do and was instructed to hang up on me. Like what kind of scam are they running here. Never again. There is literally no customer service or reasonable personal standard here if they make a mistake it’s OK even if you have proof that it’s their mistake. They don’t care to see it!!! Absolutely the most disrespectful place to do business with!
Sent it to the billing adress instead…
Sent it to the billing adress instead of shipping adress. Called theyre support line. For existing customers #2 hangs up without supoort. Only #1 for new customers is available and is an $3 an hr Indian.
I didn't receive any help. My package is 1 month due. The vehicle is unrepaired
Cost me $173 to return unopened package I said don't ship!
Had trouble getting order placed due to different address on my credit card, so they said it was on hold until I provided documentation. I ordered from someplace else and told them to just cancel the order, then they said it was being sent. I told them immediately to stop it and they said it was too late. $697 paid for item, shipping, and insurance. I sent back the unopened package and they credited me $524. Huge restocking fee and no reimbursements. I feel like they have a side business of ripping people off on returns.
Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company. I made an order based on the email quote from a representative and through a chat with a representative. They quoted me the wrong part. It didn't fit. So I started a return and got the RMA but no return label or bar code for free shipping. So I sent evidence in emails 3 times proving it was their fault. but they kept denying and closing the case saying since it was due to an incorrect part, they would not pay for the return. I called and asked for a supervisor. A man named Chuck called and left me a voicemail. I called him back and he keeps saying it was my fault and if I had ordered off the quote, the reps name would appear on the order and in my case, it didn't. Therefore, it's my fault. I asked to speak to the next level and he said he would give my number to the next level supervisor. I told him I wanted to speak to the CEO, Jon Sinclair. But he said he doesn't take calls. I told him now I see why Parts Geek has a review average of 2.8. I don't know how much the cost is to ship to Pa., but even if it's $1.00, I'm going as far as I can. One more thing. I did purchase the correct part from them that was $300.00 more. You think that would mean something to them? Never again!!! The 5 star reviews have to all be FAKE!!
Bad customer service
When you have a problem they give you the run around to return a part . It been 2 week and still no return
Parts Geek refuses to make returns
This is the second time I've had major issues with this company. They list incorrect and insufficient parts matching information then give you the run around with returns. They are refusing to return parts that didn't fit my car.
I ordered an air flow sensor
I ordered an air flow sensor. Installed it and my car did not recognize the sensor. They did nothing for me. Could not return the part, replace it with the correct one and of course no refund. Out $75. I will never purchase from partsgeek again. It did not work in the vehicle description I entered. AVOID THEM
Parts geek return process a nightmare
I was replacing the air conditioning compressor and related parts on my 1978 Pontiac Firebird. Although I read mixed reviews for parts geek., I decided to give it a try. Mainly because its parts were cheaper than others I could find online.
I received the parts and went to my mechanic to have them installed. One of the parts called an AC accumulator was the incorrect part. It was shorter than the original part and therefore would not fit into the clamp that holds it in place.. my saga of returning the part starts.
First off ,You cannot talk to a human being. You have to do it all online. I begin the process.
I have to provide all the information as well as my VIN number and pictures of the part to start the return process. I provide all this along with a picture of the new parts compared to the original part from the car, showing the difference in length. I then wait two business days to get a reply from them. I then send back the part which I have to pay for shipping. Meanwhile, the mechanic cannot proceed within completing the installation without the missing part. Since they don’t have the correct part, I need, I have to go to another site to order it. The amount of time taken for return process is extremely long and painful ( requires vin # and pictures) along with the delay in getting the car repaired and the shipping fee is not worth, in my opinion, the lower price I can get on the parts. I will not be using parts geek again. I would rather pay a little bit more and get better customer service.
First and last time ordering from PG
First and last time ordering from PG. Ordered a carburetor rebuild kit for a 53 Mercury Custom. These are not the correct gaskets. Gave them a call and was disconnected, twice. Submitted a return request online and was asked to provide a FedEx tracking number for the return. Your mistake, not mine. As such, you provide me with a label. Guess I am eating $47. Never again.
Terrible Cancellation Policy
Order the wrong part and tried to cancel within 24 hours, their system wouldn't allow me to process the cancellation even though it hadn't shipped. Once it was received I had to pay to ship it back and pay a 20% restocking fee. Terrible Customer Service and cancellation policy. Will never buy another part from this company.

The require parts I need came in the clutch and fit great.
READ THE RETURN POLICY CAREFULLY
READ THE RETURN POLICY CAREFULLY! I had to pay for shipping PLUS a $100 restocking fee!! Will never purchase from them again!
Rude and very unprofessional company
Rude and very unprofessional company. I purchased a part for an emergency repair for my truck that was leaking coolant and overheating. They cancelled the order a day later with a reason. When I called they told me to have someone else order as they will not accept an order with my name. The reason: I filed a dispute a YEAR before, for a defective part that they will not return. Super rude, will never recommend them.
I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with this parts store. I purchased a starter for my car on June 9, and was told it shipped on July 11. It has now been weeks, and I still have no tracking number or proof that the item was ever actually shipped.
When I called customer service, they said there was an “investigation” with the carrier and claimed the package is still in transit — yet they cannot provide any tracking information. To make matters worse, they refused to refund my money.
This issue should not be between me and the carrier they chose to use. Instead of taking responsibility, they told me to buy another starter at my own expense while I wait for them to resolve the problem, and only then would I possibly get a refund.
That is unacceptable customer service. After reading other reviews, it seems I’m not the only one dealing with this kind of issue. I would strongly advise others to think twice before buying from this company. Be careful with your money.
It took 7 days to get my parts
It took 7 days to get my parts; they came two different ways forms of mail. When I called to find out what had happened, they told me it because they don't ship over the weekend (non-business days) so they say. I was never told about the weekend were free days and nothing gets shipped. Poor information given out from there so-called specialist. If you need your parts fast this is not the supplier for fast delivery!! There was no concern when asked and I wasn't looking for a handout, but nothing was offered either for my inconvenience for 7 days late.
One of these days I will learn…
One of these days I will learn to read reviews before I push "order", alas. Just another story of a missing, primary part of an order that was supppsed to be a set!?! How does a set have a part go missing. Customer service was no help as the only option was to return it to them, then reorder?? As if. They got me this time, definitely won't be a next time.
