Misinformation on the website and poor business practice
I ordered a gas cooker advertised for £383 on their website. At the time I spoke to their agent and pointed out that there was an error in the description (for a cooker hood, not a cooker). He confirmed that despite the website error this was the correct price for the cooker so I purchased it. 2 days later I received an email stating "Unfortunately, we have identified a pricing error on our website. The correct price for the item is £494.51."
I called again and an agent offered to reduce the new price by £30. I said this was not acceptable as I could obtain the same cooker at a lower price. The agent declined to offer a better price so I cancelled the order by email and requested a refund.

While our team member did their best to assist at the time, the incorrect pricing was later identified and corrected before the order was dispatched. As soon as this was discovered, we contacted you to explain the situation and offered a goodwill discount as an apology for the inconvenience.
We fully understand that this was disappointing and respect your decision to cancel the order. Your refund was processed promptly in line with our cancellation policy.
We take feedback like this very seriously and have since reviewed our procedures to reduce the risk of similar errors occurring in future. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and apologise again for the inconvenience caused.

Perfect service from start to finish
After experiences with over zealous sales people listing features in bored monotone meeting Sue yesterday was a welcome change. Right from the start she was welcoming, knowledgeable & so helpful. My washer was ordered, delivered, installed & the old one taken away within 18hours. Lee & Craig worked really well together to ensure a smooth & efficient installation. They were both friendly & knowledgeable. This was a great experience from a professional and trusted company. I'll definitely be buying my next appliance from here!

Just bought a new cooker from Paul Davies- staff really helpful and though they didn't have the model in store they were able to provide us with all the information we needed and at a great price for the appliance. Delivery and installation was efficient and well co-ordinated.
