Terrible support and unreliable service
I am impressed with the lack of support that this company is offering. I recently found out about a big scam that was going on where they were collecting unauthorized amounts from my ING bank account. I could fix with ING but now PayPal is inviting some negative balances on my account without fundament, if I look at my balance history everything was paid and I have no clue what PayPal is doing.
When tried to call they said there customer service is not working due to COVID (even though everything is open in the NL) and on the website they have a terrible interface to initiate disputes. Especially in my case that is not connected to a specific transaction.

Why? All of a sudden PayPal decides you can't use your own money to pay a trusted merchant (Weebly) for no given reason at all? Now my website is offline and my services are suspended because I thought PayPal is reliable.
Buyer protection not working
Seller provided Track & Trace of another buyer with another adress as proof of delivery. Since Paypal is not allowed to ask for the adress or does not want to ask FedEx for it, I'm screwed. They simply closed the case. Tried reopening the case, but that is not possible. Called them, they told me they were gonna reopen the case. They did not.

I can’t begin describing the horror this organization provides. As a client, they can not be reached properly, they cap money just because they don’t understand the business their clients are in, and their customer service is beyond bad. I do hope they will get some competition soon.

Terrible Terrible platform that treats small businesses owners like crap. They keep holding your money up to 3 weeks before you can transfer it to your bank, otherwise you have to prove that you have shipped your products and that customers have them received. In some cases they even force clients to make confirmation on their website. And this all for no reason- they claim it's for the safety reason but they are not able to explain the actual reason to hold the money. It doesn't matter you have only good reviews in your shop and no disputes with customers ever. Treating entrepreneurs like thieves. Customer service is useless and able to repeat themselves like robots.

Account got hacked 🙄
PayPal has bad security my account got hacked and I can't get in anymore. The person who did this tried to steal 145 euros from me. They don't have customer service you can't call and you can't message without making a new account. They should have made me turn on two factor authentication but my account is like 12 years old and I never bothered with this because I didn't use it often but I was still linked to my bank account. Incompetent company stick to your own bank
Don't use Paypal for online purchases
Don't believe in Paypal and their statement "PayPal Aankoopbescherming beschermd als deze niet geleverd worden". They partner with bunch of Chinese scammers on FB/ Instagram platforms, and they never help you if you get cheated. Even if you show them proof of fraud. Stay away from them!
Account not accessible, customer service telephone line out of order
Account not accessible, due to verification code combined with previous mobile phone number. Impossible to contact the customer service by phone, for weeks already. Questions can only be asked via the message centre, for which one needs to be logged in. No chat, no email options... Considering the many simular complains, I wonder how long it will take before Paypal will be out of business.

Declining payments due to incorrect 3DS policies on their end, I wish sellers didn't use this platform and it's nice to see some switching to Stripe.

No buyer protection
I bought an online game account and paid with paypal. The seller cheated us and I asked for a refund from paypal. Despite their buyer protection I got no refund. The conversation was simply cut of.
They steal money
I put 150 euros on my PayPal account and tried to connect my bank to order something and it didn’t wanna connect so when we tried to get it back it keeps saying that there is something wrong and we should wait. We tried to call,e-mail and text them no replies. This is a BIG scam.
Stole 99 euro
Stole 99 euro's! Never showed up on my transactions but was charged on my bank account over a month ago. I added a top up to my PayPal account in November via ideal. The money never showed up nor did it show up as a transaction, yet it was transfer to ppro financial Ltd and Ive got the transaction statement and their bank number to prove it. Tried calling multiple times, no one's at the other side of the phone. Tried texting via the message center and the conversations keep getting closed on their own. Tried texting on Twitter, to which I got a response that someone will look into it and it's been a month, with no response. They even stopped responding. Sick of this. Where is my money. I want my money back.
