Customers frequently encountered issues with their points not being added correctly, and found the retail offers to be limited or irrelevant to their needs. Almost an hour on the phone waiting

I am being sent emails stating I have enough points to redeem for 40.00 when I go to the store they say I have 10.00 in points to spend.

After waiting for 41.45 minutes to speak with someone who does not have English as their first language tell me I don't have a proper email, says they will escalate this and have someone look into this. With an approximate return of 24 to 48 hours later. Will someone be paying me for my wasted time ?

Cutting corners with missing PC Points

Cutting corners with missing PC Points. Delayed and incorrect responses. The Points Inquiry process to claim missing points has been made almost impossible to navigate with a useless "Virtual Assistant"! The "Contact US" is convoluted, possibly due to the large number of complaints received!
This has been repeated on a regular basis, where it is now raising serious concerns!!!
This used to be the best loyalty program in Canada, and it has now slipped to the absolute worst!!
Just look at the number of complaints, and the rating the system has achieved!!

Hello I am dissatisfied from point systems

Hello I am dissatisfied from
Their point system because in offer it says I will 10000 points when I spend 100 dollars on gift card but i didn’t get it. Then contact with customer service. They mentioned me send the receipt and offer image. I sent it but it’s wired when I sent the email with images they didn’t receive it. But I sent the email just text they received it. So there is not my fault. So just don’t trust on the offers.

No security, no support, very little points

At some point, my physical card stopped accumulating points. No way to get any support from PC Optimum to solve this. So I threw that card to recycling, and I replaced it with a virtual card on my phone. Maybe a year and a half later, someone used the old physical card to steal the 10000 points it took me so long to accumulate with the new virtual card.

I contacted PC Optimum and they kept saying I was the one who used the lost card.

These companies make lots of money with us, and when it comes to refunding because of a fraud, no way, they are not responsible for anything, you are.

Real crooks.

Decades customer no more!

I wasn’t surprised by all of the negative reviews.
I’ve had to call them THREE times now for what seems like a simple fix.
The email address associated with my account has been closed (I retired) I was able to update my cell number but to change the email was first being told (15 minutes on hold) that since I couldn’t recall my last transaction, I’d have to make a purchase using that rewards account.
No problem, did that and called back. Was told that I needed to create a NEW ACCOUNT and they gave me a ticket number for reference. (14 minutes on hold)
Same day I called back (12 minutes on hold) and was told it would be set up as soon as I make a NEW PURCHASE using the new barcode. Nearly 40 minutes of waiting versus being told all of that up front and it could have easily been completed.
Solution: I’ll cash out the $30+ in rewards with a purchase, donate the odd $$$ over the amount I can’t use and CLOSE THE ACCOUNT.
Many other grocery stores out there!

Digital Points Offer Never Given On Mobile Orders

Each time I get a digital offer for points by ordering on mobile pickup up, I never receive them. I put the code in and I even put it in the area for the notes to pickers. I go inside to Customer Service and they say that the points will be added. This never gets done. I cannot be the only one this happens to every time. The card is a waste of time for mobile pickup.

Class action suit for all of the uncollected points

Wow the PC Card is one freakishly frustrating exercise in hell. I had trouble redeeming points at Shoppers and the virtual assistant won’t even let me speak to a live agent - it’s just an endless loop that leads to only it providing you with options. I can’t speak to the agent so I have no idea how to resolve this issue And the phone is useless - they’ll give you a time frame but then miss the mark by a mile. I’m quite sure there’s no one on the other end of the line. What a rip off. Someone should start a class action suit for all of the uncollected points they’re not honouring.

I feel like a fool

I feel like a fool. I have been using my PC Card at Pharmaprix in my hood for the past 10 years…maybe longer…I realize that even though I am there weekly that I never have any points…then for the past 3 years I got 5 miles away from my hood to a really great Provigo, that’s a Canadian chain supermarket. I go there because it’s for the wealthy, and they have things that we don’t have in my run down immigrant Metro supermarket. Things like fresh scallops, seafood, all the things I cannot get near my house. So when I go there I spend mucho money, as food in Montreal is like so much more than food in Boston which is where I was for several decades. In any case, when I go there they tell me that my card doesn’t work—but they can’t help me. Either the manager is not there, or some excuse. So I’ve lost out on at l east $500 worth of points….and that bites. So today I signed into my PCOptimum card, but it wont accept my password. I click on the FORGOT PASSWORD linke and it should send me a code or something, but after trying it six times or more, nothing happens. And yes, I checked all my folders. Then I try to get help but there is no way to get help to do so other that to work with their BOT and this has got to be the dumbest AI I have ever me….and the only way to reach them is to call but my VOIP phone is down..its been a rough month…So, I have been missing out on points for more than a decade. I can’t even get the bot to understand that the password log in thing is a factor…and no way to reach out any other live agent. This is a poor way to run a business. Oh, and now they want me to give them a cell phone, but I don’t have or want a cell phone. I’m grateful that I’m no addicted to cell technology…but seems that everyone is conspiring to get us all the buy cell phones…and cell plans…

PC Optimum Failures

I get weekly offers for shopping at Canadian Superstores; however, for the past 2 months when I've selected offers and arrive at the cash register; there is no record of my offers at the store level. I end up returning all the products. In addition to wasting my time, I end up leaving the store angry & frustrated. Complaints to Customer Service don't improve the services advertised. I am a PC Financial World Elite MasterCard holder and am considering closing my account and stop doing business with Loblaws and it's affiliates. Safeway provides honest good service & pricing.

My points were not transferred to new Optimum card
Called the number after being told at the store that I needed to do it over the phone. Calling is worse than Rogers/Bell. Waited 20 minutes. Maria finally answered, who could barely speak English, she pretended she couldn't hear me and hung up.

Don't Use PC

*** WARNING ***. PC Optimum likes to scam people out of points. They want you to spend your hard-earned money on offers, but they are constantly ripping people off. I've had too many problems with PC Optimum not giving me points on my offers and taking points away from me because of their mistakes, and it's disgusting. I highly recommend you avoid PC Optimum Optimum because they are known for this. I've had to contact them too many times to get my "missing points". Loblaw is very greedy and they are pure scum.

Considering the greed that exists in…

Considering the greed that exists in the grocery stores now, Plus the idiocy and greed of political parties, the mismanagement and apathy that exists with both, my afternoon card doesn't go as far as it used to. I have to spend more to get little. Today was no exception. I usually get 9 to 10 offers on my card every Thursday, today I got three, three whole effing offers. It's getting hard to trust anybody anymore especially Loblaws PC Optimum and whoever else has points cards. We keep getting less and less. Oh well, it was prophesied.

running around in circles

I have been trying for months to resolve an issue with my PC optimum account. since upgrading to a better Mastercard the points program has not worked.. Trying to deal the incompetent staff and long wait times on the phone, I am boycotting their stores until they get it sorted. 3 months is long enough!

I recently updated my Optimum card

I recently updated my Optimum card. I called the customer service to transfer my points from the old one to the new one.
I had to wait over 20 minutes for them to connect, then another 20 minutes while I explained, and finally, they told me I had to buy something to update the card.
I did so and called again a few hours later. This time, after 20 minutes on hold, the girl started asking me all the same questions again, and finally, she told me my new card was false? I wanted to speak to a manager, but she told me to leave my phone number and she' will call back within two days.
Unfortunately, this was my bitter experience.
I don't know if they value their image and respect.
