Davey was excellent help!

Davey was helpful and assisted us in getting a few different discounts. He was knowledgeable, warm, and friendly, but not pushy. He got us a delivery date that’s asap. The Yonkers store was clean, organized, and spacious- great for viewing and using the appliances, mattresses, etc. Great sales too!

I went into PC Richard looking for a 24 inch electric wall oven

I went into Plainview PC Richard looking for a replacement electric wall oven in a smaller size (24 in.) I was referred to a salesman Steven Vricciariello who was knowledgeable, helpful, and showed me different makes and models in my size. After comparing the ovens, I found one to my liking. He and I discussed the different discounts and sales in order to get me the best price. I then bought it. We needed the approval of a manager and that is when I met Kaitlin who was simply wonderful and helped Steven and I to close the deal. She completed the deal and I called the next day with some inquiries and finalization issues. Kaitlin was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and pleasant over the phone and resolved the outstanding issues that I had after the deal closed. John (another manager) stepped in to help and he was also very friendly and helpful. The oven came today, and it fit like a glove (Thank you, Steven Vricciariello, for recommending the pre-installation survey) thanks to the team having the pre-existing cutout dimensions. The team that did the install was great, clean, and efficient. Thank you, PC Richard, for making this a wonderful buying experience.

DONT BUY FROM PC RICHARDS

I am re writting this review as I am not sure how to respond to a response. I had a horrible experience with PC Richards and wrote a review. They answered my review by saying how sorry they were and suggested I contact customer service corporate. Well, I have been in touch with corporate office 3 times before I wrote the review and they did NOTHING to help. It seems from reading other bad reviews that PC Richard has this same response for all complaints.

They are liars and syaing to write to corporate is just a scam to make it seem like they are trying to resolve the problem. Believe me they will not help, just be carefull and stop buying from them

Worst Customer Service and terrible procedures

I would rate the service zero if possible. PC Richard's had the worst service in the industry and don't care about it. I have been outraged by the lack of service dealing with my issue. I bought a new dryer in 2022 with a 5 year warranty. About a month ago my dryer stopped heating and my service problems began. Service appoints are a waste of time I had to wait a week for them to come to my house to confirm what I told them. It took a week for a 5 minute appointment. Service rep was nice told me he would order the part and install. Of course they tell you the part is delayed. Part came in and had to wait multiple days for installation appointment. A different technician came installed the part and told me it was working fine. Put clothes in the dryer and it did not heat. Called immediately and had to wait two more days for another appointment. The same technician came back and asked why he was there. Told him the dryer was still not heating and he told me he didn't test it because they always work after the heating element is replaced. He said he could start ordering other parts to see if that helps. Tried to call customer service to speak with a manager and they refuse to let you speak to a manager. I demanded a manager and was put on hold for 49 minutes before they hung up on me. Call back asked a different rep her name and she wouldn't give it to me and hung up. Went to the store in Brick Nj spoke to a general manager who would not pick up the phone to call service manager. He did send an email to service addressing my issue and said the technician had 24 hours to document the visit. This was Friday afternoon. The technician did not document the call within 24 hours because my service call was Friday afternoon. Now I have to wait for a response until Tuesday because Monday is a holiday. After purchasing numerous appliances from them I am disappointed that there is no sense of urgency with anyone I have spoken to. I am almost one month without a dryer which should be unacceptable to them but they just don't care about customer satisfaction. They are the worst. I will shop elsewhere in the future and will got to BBB on Tuesday

Disappointing Delivery

I ordered a laundry machine that was delivered yesterday. Despite the great experiences I have had speaking with in-store agents at the Steinway location, my delivery experience yesterday has left me done doing business with them for good.

Two guys delivered the machine. Upon arrival, there was a dent towards the bottom of the machine [see pic]. I was under the impression that I would have the machine installed for free at the same time as delivery. One of the guys assured me that the installation was an additional $120 and said that I could either call and schedule an installation for a later time or pay him $120, “off the record” via cash, venmo, or zelle, to have it installed then.

I was pretty sure I chose this particular machine because it came with free installation. When I picked up my phone and said I was going to call to verify, the guy said, “nevermind, we don’t have hoses on us so you’ll have to call to schedule an installation at a later time anyway.” I was able to verify with a representative over the phone that I did indeed have free installation for this item. This guy’s sketchy attempt at a side-hustle threw me off.

After the delivery guys left, I noticed they did not place the laundry machine all the way in the room, so it was blocking my bathroom door. “The Product Weight is 302 Lbs.” - over twice my own body weight. When I tried to move it, it wouldn’t budge. I have one bathroom in this apartment and as it was my Saturday, I had plans later that evening. Point blank, I needed my bathroom.

When I called for help they said there was nothing they could do about moving the machine until the scheduled delivery date, which was scheduled for 6 days later. They also had the audacity to say that the picture that the delivery man took looked like the machine was already placed all the way inside the room and when they spoke to him, he said my bathroom shouldn’t have been blocked. Undermining a claim I could so easily prove was nothing short of the unprofessionalism inculcating this entire experience [see video].

While on the phone, I was told that the guys had already left and were en route back to the factory. Nothing could be done. I had to cancel my evening plans and spend the next 6 hours trying to find help. Thank God for Taskrabbit! I was finally able to get someone on Taskrabbit to come help me move the machine 13” back [see attached picture].

The customer service rep. did provide a $60 reimbursement from the company for the inconvenience of it all, but in my opinion that is nothing compared to the time it took for me to correct the negligence of the low grade worker this company is choosing to be represented by. Prior to the deliverer's arrival I was trying to place another order with PC Richard & Son for a T.V., another costly service. Thank God that did not go through! I took my services to BestBuy instead. Because of this experience, PC Richard & Son has lost a loyal customer. I will never purchase anything from them again and advise anyone who is scheduling a delivery service to think twice beforehand, and consider the possibility that whoever you get, might try to scam you.

No customer service at the PC Richards at Stony Brook

No customer service at the PC Richards, Stony Brook, New York .
Went to PC Richards to buy a new 65" TV. Needed additional infromation on the differences between OLED and QLED. Was in the store for about 30 minutes with no help from the sales reps. This was at 03:00 PM on a Sunday. Not even we will be with you in a couple of mintues. Went to Best Buys and was helped by one of the 4 sales reps and was shown a demo of the differences. Best Buys also had great prices. They now have me as a customer.

Sometimes you meet a good salesmen but installation is always poor

I live near a PC Richards (PCR) store and it is convenient to buy our appliances from there. However, due to past poor installations made by their delivery truck drivers, I was determined not to buy from them anymore.

Recently, our washer has started making bad sounds during spinning and the service technician from the machine manufacturer advised us to replace the washer because the ball bearings was problematic and changing them would cost close to the price of a new machine.

Looking for a new washer, I stopped by at the nearby PC Richards store on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, to look for what is available, with no intention to buy from them. I was greeted by a smiling sales person who showed me the available models on the floor. He was very considerate, attentive and customer friendly; he also quoted me on models which were not on display. I never had such an experience before with another salesman at this store; I was impressed by him and decided to buy our appliance from this store again despite my previous decision. So far so good.

I ordered a Miele washer WXF 660 (not on display) and the delivery was set for Tuesday, Jan 28th. The delivery people showed on the set date, connected the machine to water line and power, and, levelled it. The installer (the delivery truck driver actually) was not familiar with our machine, which he repeated several times, could not connect the machine to internet, despite making several calls to his colleagues but without any resolve; so, we bypassed that step for me to complete it later. He also did not run the machine to see whether it was properly installed or not. Then they left.

The next day we loaded our washer for the first time and run it at “Normal” wash cycle. In the middle of the cycle the washer started moving around, making huge sounds, 1st to front, then to both sides and finally back, and stopped almost one feet back from its original position, only because the machine had cancelled the program. Mind you this is a 212 lb.s machine, and with the laundry, water and detergent, probably weighed close to 230 Lb.s.

I called my friendly sales associate at PCR and he arranged another installer to come on Friday, Jan 31st. The new installer, upon arrival, checked the hoses, tried to find what could be wrong, and finally took out the two transit bars at the back of the machine on sides which the 1st driver had not taken out. He said, based on his experience, these bars were causing the problem. They left without checking the levelling of the machine.

We run the machine as such, with the load from the other day, after PCR people left. Luckily, this time, the machine did not move around but instead started making sound (not as huge as during the 1st run) and trembling while spinning. It should not have done that. These are very quiet machines and one pays a lot for this feature as well as their other features.

This time I called PCR customer service directly, explained them the current problem and asked for service. They said that Miele would call me on Monday and would service the washer.

I’ll never buy any other appliance from PC Richards again.

I would rate a zero if I could

I would rate a zero if I could. The service is non existent. They sell you in seconds and take care of you in years. My 4 yo Samsung Flexwash (upper washer fixed at 3 yrs) took 3 appts to get it resolved bc parts are ordered wrong then 2 workers needed (1 called out) finally come w/“correct” part wrong again. Finally got fixed. Purchased the matching dryer just before the service fiasco just to be delivered a replacement model. Now I know why. The original flex wash series was discontinued bc it sucks. Now I’ve got mismatched broken washer and new replacement dryer that isn’t great & can’t get service out to fix my issues.
Worst of all the Flexwash lower washer stopped working beginning of December & still waiting for parts 6 weeks later. I swear I’ve ordered every replacement part bc they show up with wrong parts.bordered all spin & balance parts just to find out 4 times later I’m told all steel drums are bad & need reordered. Told it’s better to buy new than fix. A 4 yo washing machine that was over $2,000 is worthless. By the way all parts that show up for the service people at your home are not the correct parts or prices. It’s a joke. I was so excited when I bought this I showed everybody I knew bc I have 3 daughters & the top load for delicates was a game changer. Now I'm taking my family’s clothing to a laundry service and spending over $1,500 since Christmas and still doing small loads at home. Pretty sure I’ll need to replace that again in no time too. I’m so disappointed in the service PC Richard provides AFTER a sale. You can only blame a manufacture for so long. If they don’t take care of your customer don’t sell them!!

I have been with out a fridge for 1…

I have been with out a fridge for 1 week
Fridge has been service 5 times 3 by Samsung directly. Now PC & Richard and son send two technicians
First did not know what we had doing but made a report. I was send a second tech with knowledge of first one and still just look at fridge on a business day. No tepairs but also agree fridge has too many issue and should be replace but still nothing. All my food- meat milk fruit in the garbage.
Fridge issues
Water leak inside and getting frozen-issue for more than a month. Evaporator may be bad

For years -Ice maker not working -no ice water was there- has been service by Samsung 3 times
(If you want tell him ice crusher does not crush ice )and still not working

also fridge and freezer stop working temperature 70- no power issues Compressor not working
Fan motor also stop But still I am not getting another fridge
Now I have to wait to see if they can fix it and going to my second week with no fridge.
Fridge purchase 2018 i paid a 10 year warranty never bother them and they cannot just honor a replacement very upsetting and disappointment
hoping some supervisor or someone will read this and contact me and help me I need a fridge in working it or replace that is why you lose costumers
Please stay away from this people warranty feels like a scam
They deserve zero start for service

Please, shop somewhere else.

$80 for a HDMI cable is outrageous. You take advantage of customers who know little about technology. Horrible company.

I ordered a new electric range

I ordered a new electric range. All the papers showed a 220v outlet that said "make sure you have the right connection." Which I do. The delivery guys come, and leave me an oven with bare terminals on the back. "Oh the plugs aren't provided" and "the driver says he doesnt have your old one, but we can SELL you a new one. Just overall bad service, bad customer service, won't use ever again.

I am extremely disappointed with the…

I am extremely disappointed with the delivery crew who came to deliver my washing machine and dryer. They were disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional throughout the entire process. When I politely asked why they were using a hand truck to take the dryer up the stairs instead of lifting it with straps, one of the guys responded in an extraordinarily rude and unprofessional manner.

It’s basic decency: you don’t come into someone’s home and behave disrespectfully. That’s not how it works. This was an unacceptable experience, and I would not recommend this delivery service to anyone.

Bought a refrigerator from Pc Richards

Bought a refrigerator from Pc Richards
Had 6 months to pay it off. Couldn’t do it and now I’m getting $60 finance fees on a $2100 refrigerator that the put on sale 3 months later for $1300. I still owe the original price in addition to 39% interest on the balance.
I’ve been in the hospital and missed some payments a Day Late $40 fee
Also the Stainless refrigerator sold as stainless steel Is Not Stainless
Magnets stick to it.
This is such a rip and to make matters worse we had a 20 cubic and the sold us a 18.5 cubic that is too small.
What a mess. Synchrony Bank is The Worst

Never received promised rebates for 2 sets of Mile Washer & Dryer

I paid for 2 sets of Miele washer & dryer in the Astoria PC Richard store with David - the salesperson, promising me two $ 400-rebates to be issued after the installation. The PC Richard installation crew delivered several times wrong items or refused to install them. Final installer refused to do the job if I did not pay him additional money (about $ 100), supposedly for carrying the items up the stairs, even though I informed PC Richard about to which floors the items would go. The installers were very rude. Although David, the salesperson, himself was polite, I never received the rebates - despite my repeated follow-ups, and eventually he stopped responding. I will never trust PC Richard again. Helen

pc richard is by far the worst company…

pc richard is by far the worst company to buy anything from. Theyre return policy is terrible and they sold me a defective washer! i purchased a washer from them and within the first use i noticed whitish residue on the inside of the washer tub.
i tried to have the technician look at it multiple times and they all said the same thing "nothing is wrong with it". "its not level". A bunch of BS. It is now sitting in storage. What a waste of money!!

We purchased a stove

We purchased a stove. We were told it can be returned within 30 days. We only used it twice. Found out we cannot use it, doesn't work well, totally unsuitable. On the website it says can be returned within 30 days, no problem. We filled out all the paperwork and went to the store with invoice to schedule a pickup. THEY REFUSED. NO REASON. EXTREMELY HOSTILE AND UNCOOPERATIVE. Originally I planned to simply pick out another appliance and despite not liking the appliance was going to leave a good review because sales person was friendly. NOT NOW. NEVER. I am going to leave bad reviews wherever I can. Do not buy from them.

Dawn - ask for Dawn to help you

Dawn was patient helping me pick out a new washing machine. She was knowledgeable and very patient with me as I could not select a delivery date( I am so indecisive). If I needed another appliance I would definitely go back here and ask for Dawn's help!
