I never review companies but I felt I had to with this one. The WORST experience ever, I will never buy again from them and ensure no friends or family do either. Ordered a laptop in october and still don't have my extended warranty. Phone and emails don't get answered. Even before this they lost the laptop and also told me they had delivered to begin with with me frantically knocking on doors on my road only to call again and be told gone to wrong depot. If you want a Dell for example go directly to Dell and buy as they replaced by faulty Docking station right away which Currys supplied. I would give it 0 not even 1 star.

Terrible. I waited 3 weeks for my order, contacted them for them to say ‘it got lost in the system’. They wanted to to pay for it again in order for it to be delivered and then they could refund the payment for the original item. Awful service, I cancelled my order and went else where.

Worst customer service I've ever had. I am still waiting for a refund for something I purchased in Jan, £250. I ordered by mistake through the buisness site, and they stopped the order mid delivery. Impossible to get anyone on chat or on the phone. Ive purchased lots of things in the past from Currys/PC world. Never again. Disgusting behaviours.

Order no.70884440 I have been charged almost £800 for an item what was said to be in stock, sent a order confirmation which doesn't even include the item I purchased and now I am left in the dark.
Customer service is unreachable, I will be doing a section 75 chargeback if I do not hear anything back.

Had an item on order since Dec 17th 2020.
Phoned every month to chase it an they tell me the item is still out of stock but they show stock.
Because I purchased it on a sale they won’t sell the stock they have.
Spoke to a few hopeless staff on the phone and assured me it will be dispatched... Yeah right months later still nothing and not even a email to keep me up to date with the progress but there is no progress.
Companies seem to use lockdown as a reason they cannot not perform or supply.
Total Rubbish and from past experiences with Curry’s / PC World I should know better than to buy from them.
1 star is to much really.
Yes will be phoning you again next week for a refund this time... Muppets could do better.
Update :
So you now have given me a credit note.
Why when I should receive a Full Refund.

I ordered an item start of March, the 8th. It arrived and I quickly saw that it wasn’t right so I returned it. TNT picked up the return on the 16th of March and I heard nothing back.
A week later I called and after a few hard hang ups from the phone robots I got through. Customer service apologised and said that it had arrived in their warehouse and in a week I will get an email.
A week later no email, I called and got through after a few tries. To be told that they need to email the warehouse.
2 days later I called back. No news from the warehouse. They were very sorry and told to call back next week.
Let’s see what happens next week. Meanwhile I’m not going to hold my breath. I bought this item start of March 2021. It’s now April and they haven’t refunded my return.
If you want to wait on hold lots and be apologised to a lot, whilst having a really slow returns process with no contact from them at all, then perfect this is the company for you.
If you want a working system and a returns process when in lockdown, that works, I’d simply avoid.
Disappointing but now off to spend my hard urned cash elsewhere! Once PC World actually refund it to me!

10th of April update:
Last week I called everyday to get updates. I was promised a manager would call, they didn’t. I was promised an email with updates, I didn’t get one. Everyday the staff apologised and said they understood and agreed that it’s taken far to long. Similar to the reply below. Ultimately though nothing changed. The only contact I got was from me calling them.
As this is a business account I spoke to my bank and they are now in the process of getting a charge back.
Also of interest I have heard nothing from the below reply.
Personally I will not be using Curries business ever again and I advise you not to. If your unsure there are a number of Reddit posts about them.
Stay clear unless you want to buy a chocolate tea pot and not get a refund.

Well as soon I placed my order and then checked the reviews on here I wasn’t confident at all. I should of checked here first then ordered however I’m glad I didn’t.
My order was placed efficiently and easily. Dispatched and my PS5 arrived a day early with communication emails from pc world business and also the courier DPD that this would be the case.
I’m starting to think now when people purchase products and it all goes wrong there much quicker to post a review saying so and this is what I suspect has happened on here. These will sell mass products and a few thousand bad reviews is expected, so thought after all the negativity on here I’d post a good review to help as the experience was not bad at all. In fact it was top notch.
No complaints at all. Thanks for my PS5 you have one happy customer here.

A disappointing service as they have not provided any after sales care what-so-ever. I purchased a product mid January which turned out to be faulty. I reported this by email mid February, it is now the end of March and this is still not resolved. I simply cannot get hold of them via phone or webchat and they ignore emails. After attempting many times to call (the call would get cut off as 'there was no one there to take my call, please try later') and chats on the webchat (which would be 'transferring me to an agent' but would never actually connect me to an agent before eventually disconnecting me) I sent a reply to the email address from which the invoice came from. Eventually I got a response asking for details of the product which I supplied immediately (and which they already had in the original email) and then waited, and waited. Finally a response arrived asking me for dates and times when they could collect and replace the faulty product, which I supplied. And then, nothing. Nobody turned up on any of the dates to collect the product and I didn't receive any reply to the email. I emailed again and they said it was out of the 30 days money back guarantee and told me to contact the manufacturer which I did. They were superb. I managed to speak to a person who reassured me that it was covered under consumer law and that Currys should have replaced the product. I then spent approximately 2 and a half hours trying to contact Currys, I did manage to speak to two people, both of whom said I needed a different department and put me on hold. The last time I was on hold I was disconnected after more than 30 minutes of being on hold. I have sent in excess of 25 emails to the address I had used previously and I have now sent a formal written letter by post. For a leading big name company, I am extremely disappointed at the complete lack of customer care. The product I bought was actually under £50 so this is not a particularly expensive item but this does not mean I will just accept a faulty product. As most people nowadays, I buy almost everything online. Yes, COVID may have caused a few delays occasionally but this is ridiculous. All I want is a working product which I paid for and I am entitled to. Currys PC World Business have a duty to replace the product they sold me because it is faulty. They really should not have directed me to the manufacturer as the contract was between me the customer and them the retailer. I have spent countless hours trying to resolve this and that really isn't fair. Currys PC Wrld Business, if you do care, please contact me. Order number 70811998.

Ordered an £820 monitor from them.
The account says the item has been dispatched about 2 weeks ago and then haven't heard anything from them.
Tried to contact them with the supplied email addresses (customer.service at dsgibusiness), and guess what undeliverable mail.
The invoice said I could also contact pcwb_sheffield at dixonsretail regarding my goods ... and guess what undeliverable mail again.
Is this a real company or are they out to scam customers.

I tried to complain about a business order (value just under £3k) that was delivered to a wrong address and left on the back doorstep of a vacant property. I was moved from agent to agent with no resolution in this matter and one of the agents even cut me off because I was taking too long to type in the details of the complaint! I type quickly, have been working in I.T for 20+ years. Bottom line, i have been put in a position where I have had no person of authority who can deal with my complaint and am expected to maybe just get over it? I will never use Currys again.
UPDATE - 23.06.21 (3 months later). Having complained to Currys and furnished them with details, they NEVER replied to me. They simply do not care.

Reply from PC World Business
If I could give them zero I would. I ordered an expensive headset from them over a month ago which was not working and so I applied for a refund which I have not received even though the item was returned 2 weeks ago (it took them that long and several emails before they would pick it up and the response time to emails is ridiculous). In the first instance you have to call them by phone during business hours since there is no other method of communication until they email you following the phone call. The first time I called them during business hours there was no-one there (11am). I therefore left a message with someone at the normal Currys customer services for someone to call me back. Nobody ever did and I had to call them again 5 days later.
They then wanted me to claim against the manufacturers warranty since they said that the item was used. In fact it was unfit for purpose and not usable. They said that it had been used since I had had to open it and plug it in, in order to discover that it did not work. Surely this would apply to any product. The retailer is usually responsible for goods being sold as "not fit for purpose" however it appears that trading standards do not apply to business items. They are therefore using this as an excuse for appalling work practices and terrible customers services, since they do not appear to have anybody moderating them. I had not even registered when I signed up that I was on a different site and not the normal Currys site, where the item I wanted, I later discovered, was not available.
It also appears that you cannot get a refund or replacement. The only system in place is that they will give you a credit note which you then have to return for a refund - something that I have not experienced yet since I am still waiting for a response 2 weeks later and a month after I initially received the goods. The response times are ridiculous at least 5 days between contacts. They also refused to give me the email address of their managing director so that I could inform him of the atrocious customer service that is taking place within his company, although it is likely that he knows.
Whatever you do, DO NOT USE THIS APPALLING COMPANY!!!

Nearly 4 months returned an air fryer, and, still no refund. Chased and chased and chased with sometimes no response for 7-10 days!!!!!!! The frustration!

Thanks for looking into it again and confirming the refund dates. I've checked with the bank today and they confirmed it only just came back. I really don't know why there's been such a long hold up which caused so much frustration.

I bought some headphones that were broken therefore I returned them.
I have been chasing my refund endlessly and wasted now hours of my time trying to get my money owed to me back.
You can’t get through to anybody on the phone and they are useless on email.
I have just issued a small claims court summons against them and they will now owe me the £129 for my headphones and £25 in issuing this claim.
(I gave them 10 days warning that I will be issuing this claim as well as a heads up 24 hours before and yet, still no refund!
Do not use this company unless you have time and money to waste.
I am shocked that such a well known and reliable company can treat people this way.

Ordered a web camera in January which was quoted as 2 business days for delivery. I contacted them in excess of 10 times and only ever get automated message saying high volume of calls and nobody available to take call. Had to take it up with bank for a refund. Then mysteriously the camera shows after two months! Then I returned it right away and still waiting on a refund. Absolutely disgusting customer service and I will never use them again. Stay well clear.

I ordered some pc parts from here, as they had some good deals going on. After purchasing a few items, I go on to look at the reviews (not knowing this was so badly rated). I started to worry as people have been saying to stay away from here, but I had a good experience with them. I got confirmation emails after ordering, and they all arrived within 2 days, in well packed boxes. You can track the orders under the my account section where it says the current status of the delivery. I mean, I could just be lucky, but I was very satisfied with my experience. Overall, I think it’s a decent place to get cheap things on, and it’s delivery is quick and efficient.

Reply from PC World Business
This is complicated, it is one star because they completely failed to deliver to me but everyone is quite nice on the phone.
When dealing with customer services they are very polite and seem to try to help. However, they do some odd things. One time after being on hold about multiple missing deliveries I was, without warning, transferred to Parcelforce and ended up getting shouted at by the 'customer support' because I thought I was still talking to PCWorld so was not giving the correct information and had no idea which delivery they were involved with.
For the moment I have stopped usingPCWorld Business until they use a different delivery company - our company has stopped using any company that uses Parcelforce and we were unaware that PCWorld business used Parcelforce when we created an account with them; had we known I would never have opened an account with PCWorld business.

A completely shocking experience from start to finish! The customer service just keeps getting worse.
- I was charged twice for my laptop and had no refund after 2 weeks of emails (not one answered) Had to ask my bank to recall it.
- I cant get technical support for issues with the laptop as the online chat doesn't answer (after MANY 60min attempts that time out) and the phone lines no longer work.
-Facebook messenger will only work for normal customers, not business.
-Live chat button has now disappeared from the site. - Emails are not answered after WEEKS and now I've had my laptop over a month and so cant return it!
My parents were also delivered a laptop and are still waiting after 5 weeks to return it as it was not an order that should have been processed! I have never experienced such lack of customer support. Beyond disappointed and frustrated!
