I was looking for a part for my SinarP. It is a difficult part to find, at least here in the US. Peartree had it and for that I’m grateful.

I had some communication problems probably due to technical problems on the seller's email, there was also a small error regarding the shipping costs, but in the end everything was resolved. Reliable seller, recommended. 👍

Peartree Photo was the only place I could find anywhere that had the flashtube I needed. There was no information anywhere on the internet to open the unit and no one in the photography shops could open it either. Without being able to open the unit, I didn't know that I'd be able to replace the flashtube myself and Lawrie from Peartree was able to give me all of the information I needed. If it wasn't for his help the flash head would have had to go the dump and I would have had to buy a whole new one, which would have been a total waste of money and have been bad for the environment too. It's expensive for a flashtube, especially when you add in shipping and duty, but far better, and way more satisfying than dumping a good flash head. I've used the replaced flashtube and it has worked perfectly throughout shoots without failing.

This is the best source for Sinar and large format information. Peartree has always provided great communications and technical assistance. I highly recommend this company and their staff.

I was kept informed at all stages of my order including a slight delay before shipping. When my order arrived there was a small issue which I contacted Peartree Photo about. I was called back within 15 minutes as promised with a solution.

The item that was delivered (a replacement flash tube) wasn't the specific item I ordered. I contacted them and got a prompt and informative response that explained the reasoning behind the manufacturer's choice to supply the slightly different version of the flash tube I had received. Although in the end it was not Peartree Photo's fault, they helped resolve the flash tube issue to my satisfaction. I'll also add that this all took place during the week before the December holidays and I didn't have to wait until January before I received a response or resolution. This is the kind of excellent customer service that deserves recognition.
