After many months, we finally thought we had found the bathroom mirror we wanted at a reasonable price, but when it arrived we found that it wasn't what we thought. We contacted Pebble Grey customer... See more

Item come damaged and only realised after I waited till my bathroom was installed and opened the box 30 day no refund to be aware

Reply from Pebble Grey
Sadly, this is not a reputable company, and you should avoid it.
The items were delivered with clear external damage to the boxes. On opening, broken glass was found inside the units, still wrapped, along with damage to glass shelves and side panels caused by internal movement during transit.
I notified the company immediately on delivery and provided photographic evidence.
The internal packaging was inadequate and wholly insufficient to protect fragile components. The damage was clearly not incidental. Because the external damage did not fully reflect the internal issues, and with two electricians already booked, I elected to proceed with installation. The damage was confined to internal side panels and the edges of the glass shelving and was not fully visible once installed if viewing straight on.
It also seemed unreasonable and wasteful to return the units purely to have them destroyed, particularly given the environmental impact this would have.
I supplied pictures of the damage before installation, but they tried to imply that this could have happened during installation. Obviously, I reminded them that they had pictures of before installation, so they stopped that avenue.
I proposed a pragmatic resolution: a 30% refund across the total order of two units, which cost £700. This was declined, and I was instead offered 10% off a single unit, equating to £35, despite clear photographic evidence of damage to both units.
Initially, there was no refund, then, charitably, they decided on £35. So basically, I am being punished for being a decent human being!
Customer support has been dismissive and unwilling to engage constructively. They clearly don’t want to talk to you; they just want to send emails.
These guys do not run like a family business, and I wonder how valid their guarantee will be!
This experience reflects very poorly on the company’s quality control, packaging standards, and after-sales support.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against purchasing from this company

Like many before me have stated the customer service team are an absolute joke.I purchased a mirror before Xmas and after about a week or being installed by an electrician it became faulty which is not the companies fault I understand so I sent the relevant info and video and they agreed to replace it but unknown to me the 800mm mirror I originally order was out of stock and wouldn't be back in so they said I ordered a 600mm as a replacement LOL (why would I even do that when the holes are pre drilled for an 800) so they said so they said my only option was to send the 600 back for a refund but I didn't want a refund i wanted an 800mm mirror as a replacement which the wouldn't do as the next alternative was £32 more expensive and they wouldn't replace it.i don't think the understand the customer very well as the faulty mirror needs replacing by an electrician when it arrives this already is an additional cost because the 1st product is faulty
Joke of a company which is a shame as the price and product was actually nice

Avoid at all costs.
Customer service is none existent and the delivery service is beyond a joke. Been promised my item on 3 separate occasions and been rescheduled all 3 times.
Finally settled on a refund

Check these products carefully and unwrap everything, I received a flawed product - a ding out of the top left glass panel which was only noticed when the protective tape was taken off after installation. Customer service refused to exchange the unit or send a replacement panel (they don't make them), as it was outside the 30 day period having been bought as a Christmas present and needed professional installation that could only be arranged in the New Year. Having offered to pay for a new panel or replacement part I was further informed they could not arrange that as they are jobbed out as a whole. Frustrating!

I have written a review below regarding order number 115923. Yes, Evie has finally responded to my prolonged ordeal (probably because I wrote a review). As if my experience was not bad enough, the response I was finally offered after numerous promises of a fair partial refund was 10%. To offer me EIGHT POUNDS after weeks of inconvenience, sending me two damaged mirrors and wasting my time is utterly shocking. I pointed this out and then I was offered £16 instead. How unprofessional can you be?
I paid £80 for the mirror and as mentioned below, I made large holes in my wall to accommodate it, and despite sending me two mirrors, I remain with a damaged item. To offer £16 out of £80 is so disappointing. And I had to ARGUE once again to be offered that £16. I should have been given atleast 50%. Pebble grey have seen the fault (with the mirror I have returned).
Absolutely disgusting service from Evie and the whole company. Won’t be ordering again.
Also- the festive period delays were not the issue. The issue was Evie repeatedly giving me timeframes that were not true.

I ordered a mirror from Pebble Grey 4 weeks ago now (order number 115923). It arrived with strange and permanent damage on the glass (streaks that cannot be cleaned all over the glass). I was very disappointed as I did not notice them until we had already made large holes in my newly decorated walls using the thick screws provided. I contacted customer service and was told to send pictures of the damage. I informed them that I cannot capture the defect in a picture but it is extensive. Anyway, i eventually had the product collected (this took a few attempts as the first collection did not occur which I waited inside my home for all day), and was promised a replacement mirror with no fault.
The new mirror came and had the exact SAME fault. I was gutted. I asked how there had been no quality control and was told there will be now due to two mirrors being faulty (little too late). I was told I could now get a refund but that was not an option for me as I had made holes in my wall for this mirror. I had to settle for a damaged mirror but what is terrible is that I have still not received any refund or compensation for the inconvenience and damaged product I am having to settle for. I have made 5 or 6 phone calls to Pebble grey chasing this (because I kept being given timescales to call back regarding a partial refund and when I did call back, was then told no conversation has yet occurred about my case). Eventually Evie has told me that her manager has said they will not issue a partial refund until they have inspected the damaged mirror (which I sent back 15 days ago).
I find the whole customer service has been slow, terrible and there has been no initiative taken. I have had to call and almost beg for a refund that I am entitled to. I have still not received anything and I am left with a damaged mirror. I regret buying from pebble grey. Please inspect your products and honour your customers by giving refunds where due.

Product delivered on time and very well packaged. The instructions are also good, although I would never use the supplied rawlplugs on a plasterboard wall for the weight of the mirror I bought.

This feels like a scam.
Website advertises 'next day' delivery - that's not true if your mirror is being delivered by DX Express. I've waited at home for 3 days, Thursday 18th, Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd. On each occasion the tracker map has shown them driving past my door!!!!
I paid Pebble Grey (in full) on Saturday 13th. So much for next day delivery!!! I would like my money back (now) and I would like to charge 3 days of my time - because that's how much time I've wasted.
Update - Thanks for your reply. However I was available on both days they claim to have attempted to deliver. I can assure you no deliveries were attempted and their tracker showed them driving past our house without stopping.

Horrendous customer service . Waited 2 weeks for 2 mirrors to arrive they failed to do so . One member of staff says there being returned to depot one says they don’t know refusing refund until they have mirrors . Why is it the customer suffers ? Shocking service
Delivery day didn’t happen, we don’t know who was at fault. Most importantly the mirrored door hinges had screws missing. There were a few minor things including the instructions were so faded we needed a magnifying glass

Quick delivery. Extremely well packed. Lovely mirror. Light is great. Note that charger is USB C to USB C (not USB A).

The quality of the bathroom cabinets and mirrors are excellent. However, the delivery company that Pebble Grey use is terrible. On several occasions I waited in for my delivery and it never arrived. No communication received either. I kept on having to rebook the delivery for it to not show up. When it did finally arrived, over a week later, the packaging was falling off the cabinet. Unfortunately, due to how the items are delivered, this would put me off buying from Pebble Grey in the future.

Bought Diaz Mirror and after two years the visual look was flawed due to water breach.
They said that was due to excessive moisture, yet their advert says suitable for high humidity.
Theres two of us AND and extractor.
Avoid like the plague as not fit for purpose. Currently trying a Section 75 with credit card as, in my opinion, "not fit for purpose" and has "not lasted resonable length of time".
Oh and that 10yr gtee is not applicable.
I wonder how safe it is bearing in mind hard wired product.
Pebble Grey - google "Clifton email". I said I would make people aware.
I have emails to back this up, so review vanishes, as Trust Pilot can be bought, that proves what saying.
ADDED - I have a note saying that I activated the guarantee on 7/9/23.
But in fairness, its pointless as the gtee doesnt cover it anyway they say.
Also, if read link on the 10 Yr Gtee - they wont pay for an Electrician to remove or replace a FAULTY item they gave you.
So, their fault, BUT you pay.
"We are not liable for any costs incurred in removing a faulty item or reinstalling a repaired or replaced item."
You have been warned.
Come on my Credit Card company. Do me proud and seek additional damages.

Easy to order online. Came very quickly and was easy to set up. The mirror has a rechargeable battery pack easy to remove and charge and the light is pretty bright. Better than the battery mirrors but not as bright as a wired in mirror. The light is good for bathrooms with no natural light and for doing your make up etc. The quality and design is impressive.

This was for a replacement part. I was given 1st class service all the time, absolutely way above and beyond what we have come to expect elsewhere.
