I'm very sorry that your order is still not with you.
As you are aware and will know from your correspondence with Simon, when you ordered your item they were due in to us from the UK distributor in the following days. Unfortunately the distributor has taken a lot longer than we and they expected to get fully unloaded, with what has turned out to be a very large resupply for them.
The good news is that when we spoke to them yesterday they confirmed that they have now shipped our order out to us and this is due in with us this morning. As soon as we have the delivery we will be shipping your item out to you, first class today

Excellent customer service
Ordered a chinbar for my bell helmet, was showing as 3-5 day delivery, so thought I would phone up after 3 days just to find out the progress. Spoke to Simon who explained to me that there was a delay in the stock coming in but he would have it to me by the weekend, and true to his word I received it, Simon had upgraded the postage so that I would receive it.
Customer service is second to none, a few companies should follow this example and I look forward to dealing with again

I have asked not to receive any more …
I have asked not to receive any more emails from this company, but if they want: my review. They sell stock they don't have. A week after placing my order I decided to ring them to find out what's going on. The "business owner" promised me an email with an update within an hour. Not happened. Rang them again to find out that "he is a busy man" and won't have my order for next two weeks. Rude and useless. At least refund was fast. Stick to reliable retailers.

I'm sorry that we couldn't help you on this occasion. We work very hard to try to ensure our stock levels are accurate on a daily basis, but unfortunately on this occasion we had a small error with our stock level on one of our 10's of thousands of product lines.

Poor communication on order status
At the time of writing this review I have been waiting 7 days since I submitted and paid for my order with no delivery of the item and worse still no update as to progress. I emailed today asking for an update but with no reply.

Unfortunately there was a slight delay with the re-supply of the product that you ordered as Simon advised you, and it also appears that the email to advise you of the slight delay didn't get sent out as it should have.

A Great Bike Shop
Simon at Pedal Pedal could not have been more obliging. He volunteered a discount for me on a pair of Speedplays when the item I'd ordered proved to be unavailable. Hes a real gentleman, and a friend to all cyclists. On his attitude alone I'd make an effort to get anything I needed for my bike from Pedal Pedal.
