If you are looking for a shop with caring, understanding, helpful and patient staff. Look no further . ALL of them take the time to listen to you and if they can’t repair your pen, they take care of everything on your behalf.
They are truly an amazing team.

Superb Customer Service!

Ordered a Cross pen as a gift. All was well until Royal Fail - sorry Mail, lost the item and was still showing as 'delivery today' every day thereafter on the app. Contacted PensPlus by email, and had an immediate response from John, who, without quibble, ordered a replacement to be sent to me that arrived the next day! Great interaction with the Company, ultra quick resolution, and I love the pen! Will not hesitate to order from them again.

Outstanding repairwork

I submitted my late grandfathers fountain pen (Parker 51) for repair and cleaning. The pen had been left to me many years ago, but unfortunately I have never been able to use it. I received it back this morning (after 3 weeks). The pen has been fully restored to it's former glory. To say I am absolutely delighted would be an understatement. Thank you to all the team at pensplus.

Recently purchased Montegrappa Elmo 02…

Recently purchased Montegrappa Elmo 02 Cortina Fountain Pen and Visconti Ink cartridges early Jan 2026. The staff was helpful in responding to my query and the delivery took only a couple of days. Will definitely recommend and will use Pen Plus again in the future :)

Repair to Mount Blanc Pen

Contacted this company via its contact form regarding a repair to a Mont Blanc pen. The cap was no longer attaching to the pen’s body. My enquiry was promptly dealt with and an estimate obtained for both an in-house repair and a repair by Mont Blanc. Dropped the pen off in the shop and opted for postal return. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Informed of the lead-in time for the repair which was accurate. My repaired pen was despatched the same day I settled my account and received by me the following day with the pen in a protective case. Very pleased with the in-house repair. Would certainly use them again.

An absolutely wonderful shop with knowledgeable staff.

For many years I have been buying my husband fountain pens for Christmas and birthday presents and over the years they were showing signs of wear and tear - well this summer we had a day out and took them all to Pens Plus in Oxford to have various repairs done to them.
I cannot recommend this company and their friendly helpful, knowledgeable staff highly enough. I can’t imagine there is anything that they don’t know about pens.
Repairs are superb and we now have all of our pens looking good and in working order.
The shop also has an amazing selection of pens and writing implements at all prices, it is definitely somewhere to visit along with the famous sights if you are in Oxford.

Awful customer service

What a joke.

Walked in to a quiet shop to look for a pen. I had my foldable bike with me which the staff scowled at the s cond I walked in even though there was loads of space.

I picked up a couple of card wallets that caught my eye. I asked why two of seemingly the same thing one made a clicking noise and one didn’t and the lady behind the counter said it was because it had to be full to be silent. Seemed weird.

While talking to her I must have clicked the two wallets four times each and the other member of staff said something about me being careful with them and not to click them too much. I said I’m pretty sure the only function should be ok and he replied not if you click it 20 times. Assuming I use my wallet twice a day good to know that he doesn’t feel it would last 10 days without breaking.

Left shortly after as don’t think I want to give my money to a company that talks to potential customers like this. Off to Amazon I go.

Judging by their other reviews this isn’t an unusual experience for people.

Appalling customer service.

My partner contacted this company via a message facility on their website. Asking a question regards a Parker pen. They never replied. We tried ringing them, nobody ever answered. No voicemail facility, nothing. Three days on, never heard back. Terrible customer service. I would not recommend them to anyone. I'm always wary of any company, that you can't contact by telephone. Meaning, if you have any issues, you can't speak to them. They don't deserve any custom if this is how they treat people. Woeful.

Mont Blanc

Just bought a Mont Blanc pen which I am very happy with. In the past they did a superb repair on an old Sheaffer which had been damaged and returned it to brand new condition. Really helpful and friendly staff.

Outstanding service and customer care

Outstanding service and customer care. I had a vintage unused Tiffany & Co pen with a broken twist mechanism. T&Co were unable and unwilling to repair it due to obsolete part. PensPlus in Oxford was amazing, the only place in the UK that was able to repair it. There was some waiting involved, understandably so, but the wait was worthwhile, the repaired pen was sent by Special Delivery back to me, and I am over the moon to have a new (rendered useless before without retraction working) Tiffany's silver925 pen. The body of this silver pen is quite delicate (silver is a soft metal susceptible to scratches) but it was handled with care during repairs with no single mark left from the tools and instruments used. On the basis of my experience I highly recommend this exceptional place for the repairs of high end pens

Excellent and helpful

A most helpful, professional & responsive company. Had a very old but much-loved Waterman fountain pen which was not flowing ink and a Parker Sonnet pencil in which the lead had stuck. In both cases, they kept me informed, were responsive, clearly experienced and I had a professional and fine experience throughout. would recommend unhesitatingly
