Bad Billing Practice
I should have trusted that no publication had Nationwide listed in their top companies for pet insurance. Received a notice that my plan was not going to be renewed. I took that as policy would not be renewed. They AUTO-enrolled me in a new plan that was twice as expensive. Didn't notice until 4 months in that payroll deductions were still coming out. Even with no claims during the time with the new plan, they wouldn't back date my cancellation and kept payments until the cancellation date of today. Stay away.

he website and overall user experience are very poor. I recently signed up for coverage and understand there’s a waiting period while underwriting is completed. However, I haven’t been able to find clear information about the policy—specifically what is covered and what is not. The links for “pre-existing conditions” and “see full list of exclusions” are not working, so I’m unable to review those details.
Additionally, the site makes it difficult to complete basic tasks. I can’t locate my veterinarian using my ZIP code because my vet is outside that area. The dropdown and search functionality are confusing and don’t accommodate this scenario. The list should also be alphabetized to make it easier to use. At this point, it seems I’ll need to contact you separately to provide my vet’s information—something that should be handled directly online.

The absolute worst pet insurance I have ever had. I pay $60 a month and that doesn't cover wellness and I submit a $5,000 claim for an operation and get $900 back and this isn't the first time they hardly pay for anything and get their way out of everything. My advice don't waste your money
