I had some plumbing work done today and as always Richard did a great job. I honestly wouldn’t use any other company. I highly recommend Pettifer Plumbing and Heating. They are friendly reliable and honest.

Quick and friendly service.

Very happy with the service from start to finish. Came across them by chance through Worcester Bosch website of recommended plumbers. Admin team were very helpful and responsive. Richard and his team were friendly and knowledgeable and came out to give us a very competitive quote. Once agreed we were booked in quickly for the work to be completed. They estimated 2 days work but worked extremely hard with barely a break and completed the work just under half a day early. Were very tidy and efficient. Will use for future work.

I have used Pettifer Plumbing, for the previous 4 years, to install and service my gas boiler. They are always, professional, highly competent and polite. They are a pleasure to deal with andI recommend them highly.

Thanks so much to Richard & his team for our recent new boiler installation.
Late on Monday evening our 18 year old boiler received Last Rites. I reached out to Pettifer Plumbing to arrange a quote. They quickly provided quotes covering a variety of budget options. Richard also gave us a simple, jargon-free explanation of the benefits of each package There was no pressure from Pettifer Plumbing to make our purchase. That said within 2 hours we had agreed on a package and our brand new, fully functioning boiler was installed WITHIN 24 HOURS!
The installation team were very friendly & a credit to company. Arriving promptly, beginning work immediately and being very considerate to keep any household disruption to a minimum. The team completed the install safely, quickly, professionally & left the work site as they found it. All rubbish/waste was removed once they had finished.
In addition to being more economical, our new Worcester Bosch boiler has a 10 year parts/labour warranty. This means that we can now cancel our existing boiler breakdown cover which saves us a further £20 per month.
We cannot recommend Pettifer Plumbing highly enough.

We needed a new boiler and got in touch with this company as they are Bosch accredited.

We met Richard who was very professional and highly knowledgeable therefore we decided to go ahead with them after initial consultation.

David and Richard carried out all the work on the agreed dates (that we had requested). Both were efficient and super friendly, they kept answering our questions (we wanted to learn a thing or two from the process). Richard had to get in to the loft with a very little room and helped cut out the tank also to keep his promise - many companies including British gas said they might only drain it and will leave the tank.

Overall the boys had a very good attitude, they were willing to help and knew what they were doing - highly recommend them!

We have been using Pettifer Plumbing and Heating’s services since 2019 and we have always been impressed by the quality of service and how friendly and professional the team are. They have done several works in our house from removing an old boiler, installing and relocating a new combi boiler from the upstairs to downstairs and fitted all new radiators in a majority of our rooms. Safe to say we trust their work.

Just recently we had an issue with a contractor who caused more harm than good to our bathroom! We instantly thought of Richard and his team as we knew they can help resolve the issue quickly. They came and fixed our problem within an hour! They are really efficient and saved us a lot of hassle. Would highly recommend.

Just had a complete central heating system fitted. Was told the job would take 3 days. They arrived by 8.30 am every day and worked late on the third day to complete the work. Minimal disruption. Very friendly and helpful company. Nothing was too much trouble and answered all my questions. Will certainly use them again

Just had David & Richard round to move my boiler. Really pleased with the job as removed very old & ugly pipework. Very polite guys & they were very thorough. Would highly recommend.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Firstly they were happy to leave the boiler hanging out the cupboard. The boss turned up and was so rude, ignoring my direct attempts to talk to him. Then left me with water hot enough to make tea with! Despite many emails asking how to turn it down as I was scared the children would burn their hands, it took along time to get a response. I’ve since had to get a new plumber round after a leak, they said it was not where they had touched...however my heating then stopped working completely. I was told by 2 different plumbers that there was a blockage in the system which was causing it to overheat and shut down. Both said there was no way the system had been flushed through as it should have been. No responses to emails re this and I’m now £180 out of pocket. Disgusting service by a company that does not seem to care. Avoid

We asked Richard to come and give us a quote and some advice on what would work for us immediately and in the long term as we are renovating our property. He was honest and gave us lots of advice and when he came to change our heating system and boiler he did a fantastic job. We would highly recommend Richard and the team as they completed the job efficiently and very neatly, changing the whole system in a day and a half.

Honest, reliable and very professional. I will be holding on to their number for future work when needed. These types of people are like gold dust.

Richard and his team have done an amazing job at changing an old temperamental boiler that I have been living with for years to a brand new Worcester Greenstar 30i. Right from the initial visit, to the quote, and to the installation the service was flawless. The price was one of the most competitive quotes I had obtained but made my decision to go with them because of the fact that it is a family run business and not a large company. Great interest free finance options for those like me who couldn’t manage a one off outlay. The team were very clean, focused, efficient and knew exactly what they were doing. It was a great experience. My only gripe Richard (and it quite minor but I will mention it so you are aware of it) would be that towards the end of the job I felt like you were rushing to leave and that you could of taken a little more time to explain to me how to use the new thermostat, etc. The other thing was that when you first came to visit I did mention to you that I did also want a dodgy kitchen tap replaced to which you replied that wouldn’t be a problem and you would do it on the day when you changed the boiler. On the day it was obvious that something had come up which you had to deal with and I understand this happens from time to time. But for the future just be mindful and respectful to all customers, as this did leave me a tad disappointed with you. However, I am pleased with job done, would use you again and would definitely recommend you to others. A big thanks to the Pettifer team.

I wanted to replace my boiler as it had been having a number of issues. I obtained quotes from a number of companies both local and national. As well as being the most competitive, Richard from Pettifer listened to what I had to say and answered all my questions thoroughly. Many of the others simply made recommendations on other boilers which I did not ask for. The day of the installation was excellent, the two guys worked very hard and solidly throughout the day. The quality of workmanship was very high and they worked very efficiently with minimal disruption and mess. I would not hesitate in using Pettifer in the future and would recommend them. I am very happy with the new boiler.

Working in the residential letting property sector I have worked with a wide range of contractors, however I am pleased to say that the team at Pettifer Plumbing have been one of the best contractor teams I have used and worked with.

I'm fairly canny when it comes to shopping around and ready to negotiate if needs be so was pleased that when compared to some others I'd contacted, these guys really seemed to know their stuff in terms of product, competitive pricing and service, putting me at ease. Made me feel better about parting with the cost of a new boiler!
