DO NOT SEND YOUR PHONE
Please do not use, received a cheque after 4 months and it BOUNCED!!
BEWARE they are also trading under buyanymobile.co.uk
Awful experience that has cost in calls, recorded letters and now in small claims.
Perseverance is the key!!!
This is my honest opinion to assist you to make an informed choice.
Do not be mislead into believing that you will receive your money immediately because for a fact you won't! Continue to call as eventually they will answer. Keep a record of the whole process to enable you to reaffirm the difficulties you are facing with the company. I was eventually paid by cheque for the amount awarded. The cheque successfully cleared. Don't give up hope, all the best to all who are experiencing difficulties with this company.
Got therein the end!
Sent my phone late November, the day they appeared on Watchdog. I had to email them over a week later to get any kind of response off them to see if they had received my phone. Had the normal lower price response and accepted in mid December. Emailed the mid January to see if the payment had been sent, I live around 3 miles from their office and did say I would collect them by going there, had no reply. Emailed and phoned again late January to say if I had not received the payment by 3rd February I would start leagal action, still nothing. The a cheque arrived the 2nd week of February, posrage frank on it dated 17th January, put it in the bank 20th and it cashed on Thursday 24th ( I was not expecting it to cash ).
Wouldn't use again, but got there in the end.
Disgusting company.
Firstly do NOT use this company. I sent my iPhone 5c off in November which was in excellent condition. A few days later I received an amended (lower) offer saying the phone was scratched which to save hassle I accepted. I've never received payment for the phone and they don't reply to my emails or answer the phone. How is this company allowed to continue trading?
Im now having to take these people to court
Unfortunatly i am now having to take these people to court as they have failed to pay me more than 10 times and the cheque bounced. I did tell them what was going to happen but they refuse to help me. i am trying to claim back the whole amount as my phone was in a case for its whole life and everybody seems to be given a lower quote. This has been a massive stress on the family as the original offer was £250
Shocking
Shocking company and liars! Don't not send your phone off. They never answer the phone or email you back! Fuking idiots
Rip off company avoid at all costs
Sent my phone to them in November as they offered the highest price. They then reduced the price due to non existent damage. But I agreed as I just wanted the money quickly they agreed to a bank transfer in 10 days. That never happened I did manage to get a cheque from them in February but that has bounced. How is this company still in business if it doesn't have any money.
Worst ever company
Sent phone off, price massively reduced. Then refuse to email back or contact me. They have stole my phone do not use this company
Do not use they stole my phone.
They stole my phone and don't ask their phone.
Stay away
Attrocious behaviour - AJ10066792
Very dodgy company. First it took them weeks to process the order and confirm that they had received the phone.
Then they reduced the price even though the original price agreed was for a broken phone.
After discussing things with them they finally sent a cheque for £100 (two months after the original agreement).
But guess what? The cheque bounced. How a company trading on the internet doesn't even have £100 in their account is beyond me.
I have pleaded with them to sort things out but its been one lie after the other.
You are better off throwing your phone off a bridge than to give it to these scammers.
avoid at all cost
Total scam and not surprising given their appearance on bbc tv watchdog programme. They entice you with inflated offers and then notify you there are issues with the condition and offer you far less. i refused to accept their revised offer and they increased it to a more acceptable figure but took over 3 months from sending off phones to finally get my payment. No attempt to answer my emails until i threatened legal action and impossible to get hold of on the phone. Have learned my lesson and would never use again.
Worst service ever. Do not use them
Phone was delivered to them in December. Acknowledgement of receipt received. When payment did not arrive I threatened legal action in January and was sent a cheque last week, which has bounced. They obviously sent the cheque to delay legal action.
still waiting for payment
Posted my phone in November and I'm still waiting for my cheque. Sent 3 emails with no reply back. Phoned them last week and they told me they would re-send the cheque and I still haven't received it. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!!
SCAMMERS!
i 'sold' an iphone back in December 2016, firstly tried to fob me off by offering a lower price, saying the phone had scuffs, it didn't, i had taken photos. not that i has done me much good, endless emails and calls and i still haven't received my money. can anyone let me know if there is anything that can be done.
*For everyone who has been conned by this company*
i called their bluff, after calling to again complain that i had not had my cheque, and getting the usual ' its in the post' i told them that i was about to take them to a small claims court for theft, and that i had recorded the conversation. he was not best pleased and said that it was against the law to record someone without their consent, and was going to report me to the police. (i know this and didn't actually record anything). i told his to go ahead. to cut a long story short, my chq arrived the next day. not banked it yet so it might not clear, but give it a shot
Still awaiting payment 1 month since it was promised!
Terrible communication from this company, its been almost 2 months since I initially sent my old broken iphone to these guys and depicted accepting the offered price and receiving an email on 12th January stating that my money would be transferred 'shortlly' I am still awaiting payment. I have followed up several times via e-mail and despite their pledge to try to respond to emails within 3 days I have received no communication at all.
Poor service. Avoid.
0 stars horrible people
,Ihave been trying since December to get my Iphone 6 returned. It was sent to them after offering me £280.They then offered me £140 saying it had scratches and dents. This is blatant lies as it had just been replaced by my phone insurance and it was brand new.7 emails, countless phone calls and 2 recorded delivered letters and still they have ignored me,they have stole my phone and other peoples.I have now got trading standards involved and the small claims court. Also been reported to .Action fraud police. Now also going down the lines of reporting it stolen to my insurance, and passing their details to them.
It's a scam!!
My husband sent his two old phones off to them back in November. He’s had an acknowledgement from them saying “we successfully processed your order AJ10062854”. Despite numerous emails and trying to contact them by phone (no answer) he hasn’t received any money yet.
