SCAM

No money paid out to date since sent my phone to them in November. Unable to get any response from my e mails and if you try to phone them all you get is pre-recorded messages. Do not use this company. Reporting to trading standards in order that this fraudulent company can be closed so that others are not conned out of their devices

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!

Ok, I sent my phone to this company in October. They instantly rejected the initial offer stating there was significant damage which there was not. I repeatedly asked for the phone to be returned and after several emails, I settled for a price of £221. I have not received the money despite this price being agreed on 3rd november. I have called over 35 times and they do not answer - ever!! I have sent 16 emails asking for my money and I only got 2 automated responses - I think they have now blocked my email address. I have sent them a recorded letter requesting my money and they have not responded. This has been going on for 2 months. I am now in the process of starting a civil court claim as they have technically stolen my phone as they have not yet paid for it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - AVOID AT ALL COSTS - WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD DEALINGS WITH!!

AVOID this company

Sent phone in November.

Offered a lot less.

Accepted lower offer.

Ignored all my emails (at least 20) and ignored all my Facebook messages.

Finally sent me a cheque in February and it bounced.

Complete hassle and untrustworthy company and it is impossible to speak to anyone when you ring.

Now going to report them to the police and also going to their business address next week to see if they actually exist.

Will update if I find out anything else or get any result

Worst company ever, do not use!

PhoneRecyclers are the worst company I have ever used. It has been four weeks, numerous e-mails (which they don't reply to) and five telephone calls (when you can get through) and they still haven't paid me. I am taking them to the Small Claims Court.

Appalling Service!

Phone Recyclers courier collected my phone at the end of October 2016. They offered me £55 which I accepted. It is now the 23rd December 2016 and I am still awaiting the money.
I have emailed them constantly but get no response. If you try to call their number you always get that they are busy.
This company is outrageous and I will go to the small claims court as mentioned by a previous reviewer.
One person mentioned there is a non public number to call but as yet I can't find it. If you have please let me know.

The worst company ever !!!

Would love to put NO STARS! Avoid people, these operators are appalling, my phone was sent in which to be fair was a good experience then it all went wrong! Of course as expected my phone was valued for less due to the scratches which wasn't there when I sent, this phone was in A1 condition. I asked for my phone to be returned, got a nice email confirming that it was on its way back. I'm still waiting several email sent asking for tracking number, not an answer to one !!!! They never answer the phone to their customer "support". Birmingham trading standards have been inform, interestingly they are well aware of this company which is under investigation. My only course of action is to report this phone as stolen using IMEI. Do yourself a favour keep clear of this company. It's laughable that this company is "striving to ensure 100% customer satisfaction” long way to go!!!!

Scammers

I sent in several phones and they claimed they were scratched etc (which they weren't) but I accepted the offer given to me. No sight of any money however. Have tried calling and e-mailing but can't get through on the phone and no-one answers the e-mail. They were quick to respond to e-mails when wanting information about unlocking the phones etc. As with other people, wish I had read the reveiws first but was taken in by the website and the fact that a reputed delivery company was dealing with them (UPS I think). These scammers shouldn't be allowed to operate. Will be taking this further with Trading Standards and possibly small claims court.
Having emailed phone recyclers again and threatened that I would take things further, have now received my money, a month after sending in the phones. I consider I was lucky to get the money and wouldn't deal with them again. They do not answer the phone or respond to emails which is an unacceptable way to carry on a business.

Phones not returned after 2 months

I've been waiting almost 2 months to have 3 phones returned to me after I refused their quotes. I've emailed several times now but receive no response. I just wish I had seen these reviews before I started this process and seen what other people had gone through. I'm left without phones or payment. Next step will be to report the theft to the police and take it from there.

CAN'T BELIEVE IT

I am actually so disgusted by this company. Sent my phone in over a month ago, of course they sent me a lower price and now I have no sign of my payment at all. How can a company do this to people? They have taken down the number which you can actually get through to on here due to 'affecting our business operation' stuff your business performance. Focus on your consumers which you DO NOT GIVE MONEY TO FOR THEIR PHONES. I have no way of getting through to these people at all. Is there actually ever employees working for this company? I spend over half hour trying to get through then just give up. I will be taking my complaint to the ombudsman if I don't receive my payment within the next 7 days. Joke of a company, will be using selltronics next time!

Small Claims Court .... URGENT Update

As per everyone else on this forum having sent my phone in over a month ago and accepted the offer I have had no contact since.... No payment, numerous unanswered emails and the phone is never answered. I have just lodged a county court small claim online. Its very easy to do, took 10 mins, costs £25 ( which phone recyclers will have to pay back) I suggest everyone on here does this and the company might get the message.

Update: Received Count Court Judgement against them.....Just paid me with a cheque which has bounced. DO NOT send this company any more phones. I imagine they are not far from going into receivership

AWFUL - DO NOT USE

I sent my phone to this company and after a few days I received a message saying that they had reduced the quote due to a, no existent, yellow glare. I asked for pictures of the "yellow" screen. Received the pictures but, as predicted, there was no damage. After countless attempts to call, I gave up and just accepted the reduced payment. I received a email on 17/11/16 stating payment was on the way - this has still not been received (21/12/16) and after over 9 emails I have yet to receive a reply.

This company is absolutely disgusting and shouldn't be allowed to trade. I will also be reporting them to the relevant authorities.

DO NOT USE!
