Completely unprofessional! Customer service is all overseas and very condescending! I ordered 2 lockets for my recently deceased partners sisters. I ordered expedited shipping so it would arrive to them just before the memorial so they could wear it to the memorial. I typed in their address so that it would ship directly to them. They sent a confirmation email acknowledging the order. If your like me you don’t open the email “anticipating” anything is wrong if it says your order was placed. So the next day I’m filing my emails into folders when I open the email and notice it’s being shipped to ME !
I call customer service and she tells me if you pay by Apple Pay or PayPal they AUTOMATICALLY change your shipping address to your billing address! This wouldn’t be a huge problem other than missing the memorial if I weren’t FULLY DISABLED! I can’t get out to a post office and my partner who helped me just died hence the whole reason for the lockers. So I’m telling the customer service agent that they should warn people that their payment software is messed up and changes your shipping address. She states it says it puts it in your confirmation email (where it’s too late to change it anyway) . I explained to her nobody reads the emails anticipating that you changed the address and besides, what good would it have done because it’s too late to make any changes then. I explained to her that I’m fully disabled so this is a huge problem for me because I can’t get back to the post office to mail them. And the representative in her infinite wisdom tells me “ you should ask somebody to help you”. Really!!!! like I didn’t think about that if that would’ve been an option???
I could understand if this was a cheap trinket or something , even then it’s still not right it shouldn’t change your shipping address, but it wouldn’t be as catastrophic. But this cost me over $300. I expect a little more professionalism than that when you’re dealing with higher ticket items. Now I have $300 in lockets I can’t use.
**BEWARE** depending on your payment method depends on where your item ships. It does NOT matter what you want. They won’t tell you this till it’s too late to do anything about it !
**Update**
I see your reply is completely useless and as insensitive as as your customer service agent! Did you miss the COMPLETELY DISABLED part? What good is a return label going to do me? The whole point is that your billing software should actually work properly! And your customer service agents should not be condescending! Don’t apologize because it doesn’t do me any good now that I’m out over $300.00! DO BETTER by your customers!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
Picture quality:
The product was fine but it was a little smaller than expected. I will say, it is a nice locket. When I requested a return, I received the label through Amazon. I packaged it up and dropped it off - It came back. Took it back to the post office and they said it was an incomplete barcode. I contact the seller and requested a new return label. Was told that Amazon generates the label. Amazon keeps telling me to contact the seller. I asked the seller to mail me a label. Between all of this craziness the time had expired to return it. The seller did contact me and never addressed my request to send me a label. They just offered me a larger locket at an additional price. Now I am stuck with a locket that I don’t want and am out $$$. Shame on Amazon and the seller.

This company use generated pictures to make images look beautiful but you don’t get what you pay. I bought a ring which looked like a scribble of our lady of Mt Carmel. I had to pay to send it back and get it fixed and when it was returned it image and the writing was not what I saw in the picture. Not worth the money
This is false advertisement. So sad this is what we have become.

I ordered a standard (not custom, not engraved) diamond cut crucifix from Sacred Medals on 6/13/25 for $225. A crucifix arrived on 6/16 that bore almost no resemblance to the one I ordered. I wish I could attach photos. Before ordering I made sure that it was returnable (and I took photos of the 30-day money back guarantee on their website). Within 4 hours of the delivery, I immediately sent a request to return the crucifix for a refund. I sent photos of what I ordered and of what I received. I received a response from Pictures on Gold agreeing with me about the poor quality with an offer to remake it. I immediately responded that I did not want a redo (though I thanked them for their offer) but that I wanted a refund in accordance with their policy. From that point I was ghosted via email. I replied a couple of more times via email along with screenshots of their policy on the website and never received another email response. So I started calling. So far I have called 4 times and each time it has been escalated with promise for management to call me back. Each person told me that their policy did not allow refunds. I directed each to the website that showed a 30 day money back guarantee and the agents said they saw it as well. As if the last time I called, yesterday, they now changed their website. I have never yet received a call back from management. This is a scam and a racket!
As if 7/4/25, after dogged pursuit of a resolution, I still have to keep calling and seem to be stuck in an endless do loop.
Beware!!! I own a small rosary business and I have never worked with such a dishonest supplier. I am so disappointed that someone providing religious jewelry would behave so badly in business.

I paid over $400 for a saint Michael necklace for my police officer daughter and like many others I wish I hadn't, absolute scam , trash , nothing like the picture and I also was too embarrassed to give it to her. I urge anyone thinking of purchasing from this company, DON'T.!

I ordered Sterling Silver Forever In My Hear Locket for a sister and her daughters who recently lost their father and brother. It was the perfect memorial gift to keep them close to their hearts. The necklaces were beautifully engraved, photos perfectly set and packaged beautifully in small blue box with a ribbon. Without requesting, the necklaces were shipped by FedEx the next day. Incredible customer service. I highly recommend PicturesOnGold for jewelry that will be treasured for a lifetime.

UPDATE
I ordered this locket in May and this is still outstanding. I have never ever in my entire life dealt with a company this bad. The locket is absolute trash, falling to pieces and the laser photography is embarrassing. It is now nearly September and no one is getting back to me.
I can’t plead with you enough….do not use this company. It’s an absolute scam. Please spread the word for people not to give them your money.

I paid for an expensive solid gold locket from PicturesOnGold.com, and I honestly wish I hadn’t. The quality is horrendous—extremely flimsy and cheaply made. The photo lasering is terrible, blurry and distorted. I previously bought a $60 gold-plated locket on Etsy, and it was 1000x better in both quality and image clarity.
Customer service is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. I had to return the first locket because it arrived broken. It took ages to get it replaced, and even then, the second one was barely any better. Now, I’m trying to contact them again about fixing the poor photo quality—and I’m being completely ignored.
I want a refund, but they’re ghosting me. Honestly, don’t waste your money here. You’re better off spending a little more at Monica Rich Kosann or even saving money and getting better quality and service on Etsy. I regret this purchase deeply.

Ordered a photo bracelet and they keep creating pre-shipment labels. Then tried to gaslight me into believing it has already shipped. USPS clearly states it is awaiting the item in NJ. I really hope I haven’t been scammed.what’s the point of expedited shipping if they don’t ship at all?!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! Please listen to me!
Ordered a class ring for my daughter and paid 300.00 turned her whole finger green in less than 2 minutes. This company will not work with you on any resolution at all. They are scammers and take your money.

My experience with PicturesOnGold was fantastic. The piece that I ordered was gorgeous, with every detail and quality just fitting my expectations and more. I noticed a slight glitch with a discount through Amazon at checkout but the support team was so understanding and speedy at sorting it out; they ensured I was refunded, even though I already had the product in hand. Such honest and caring customer service is rare these days. Glad I picked them, and I shall be returning!

Don’t order from this company. Ordered a medal and chain, spent $400 and the quality of the medal is cheap as is the chain. Asked them to engrave the date on the 4th line, which they ignored. Ordered this as a gift and I’d be embarrassed to gift it to anyone. Will have to go purchase a similar medal and chain in a jewelry store and throw this in the garbage where it belongs. An expensive mistake. Would never even look at their website again.

I had a great experience from start to finish with Pictures on Gold. The website was incredibly easy to navigate, making the customization process smooth and enjoyable. I was able to upload my photo and select all the personal touches I wanted with no hassle. When my custom piece arrived, it was exactly as described—actually, it exceeded my expectations. The photo detail was sharp and vibrant, and the material felt strong and high-quality. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into their craftsmanship.

Do not buy from this company !!! I bought my granddaughter a locket with a picture of her great grandmother in it, she has worn it 3 times and the clasp that keeps the locket closed broke. It’s only 3 months old. I reached out to the company to have a repair done and they told me it would be 20 dollars and shipping costs. The website says it has a lifetime warranty. The locket was 180 dollars with pictures and engraving. Very disappointed with the quality and customer service. Never again, I’ll get it repaired at a local jewelry store.

My husband bought me a locket for Mother's Day from Pictures on Gold. I have been wanting a locket for years and had two high quality photos picked out. I cropped the photos, uploaded them to Google Drive and shared it with my husband. I just received the locket and the photos look terrible. There is lines throughout the photos and it looks like the printer or whatever they use, ran out of ink. The colors are very faded. I'm confused as I sent in vibrant, high quality DSLR photos. I feel very sad about it and don't know what to do. I feel like I would have been better off buying my own heart locket, in the next size up (1 inch) and printing out the photos to cut and manually place in the locket. The locket and chain itself are lovely but the inside is what matters and I am upset with how it turned out. I regret asking my husband to buy this, as I know he spent a lot of money on it, just for me to be unhappy with the quality. I am not sure how this can be remedied if this is how they send out products, unless this was a mistake. I have taken pictures upon opening the gift today, and the inside looks faded, scratched and has horizontal lines across both pictures.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! Bought a locket for my daughter, she loved it! Wore it for one day, the picture dislodged from one side and when she got home went to see if we could reglue it and the other side popped out. Called the company after a huge hassle, sent another. She wore it FOR ONE DAY again and the locket fell off the chain. She went to go take her necklace off that night and there was no locket, it had detached for the little claw that holds it to the necklace. She is devastated. So 2 lockets, both broke and the one we can't still find. They won't do anything because I don't have a picture (it's missing). So we are out over $100. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY PLEASE
UPDATE- ONLY AFTER MY 1 STAR REVIEW DID I GET SOME MOVEMENT ON MY DISSAPPOINTMENT. THE COMPANY DID RESEND YET ANOTHER LOCKET. MY DAUGHTER JUST RECEIVED IT AND HAS NOT WORN IT YET. IF SHE GETS LONGER THAN 6 MONTHS (WHICH I HOPE LONGER) I WILL CHANGE MY REVIEW STARS TO A 3 OR 4

Do not buy from this company. I bought photo charms in 2023 and they are completely faded. They will replace them but you have to pay to ship them back, pay to reprint the picture and pay for shipping. Their quality does not last, DO NOT BUY.

PicturesOnGold.com (POG) has so much potential to be a truly spectacular jeweler because they allow their customers to highly customize their orders, creating incredibly sentimental pieces, as I did. Unfortunately, however, the durability of their lockets is abysmal (and lockets are meant, by design, to be opened and closed), as was POG's warranty service.
If you don’t want to read the evidence below, the take home message of this review is that you’ll probably regret it if you purchase a locket from POG. I can’t speak to their other pieces, but if you ever need warranty service, you’ll probably regret that too. I did.
Timeline and brief, factual, details (unfortunately, I can't attach photos to this review) taken directly from emails:
12/13/23 – I ordered a customized “Daddy’s Little Girl” laser-engraved ¾-inch sterling silver heart locket with an additional laser engraving on the back, two color engravings on the inside, and a garnet on the bail, for my daughter.
12/22/23 – I ordered a blank 1-inch sterling silver heart locket customized with two color engravings on the inside for my mother.
1/27/24 – I ordered a fully customized 1.25-inch sterling silver heart locket which is laser-engraved on the front and back, two color engravings on the inside, and a garnet on the bail, for my daughter.
2/17/24 – The clasp on the 1.25-inch heart locket broke, 1-year guarantee service was requested, and shipping to/from was paid by POG. It was frustrating, however, that I provided both photographs and the original order confirmation email in my warranty request, which included all information they needed (i.e. Order #), yet they asked for them in their response.
2/26/24: The replacement 1.25-inch heart locket arrived, but it wasn’t what I ordered because it didn’t have a garnet on the bail. I emailed them, included a photograph of the old and new lockets next to each other showing that the replacement didn’t have the garnet, and in their response they requested a photograph – again.
3/14/24 – After pinging POG several times, they finally sent me a prepaid shipping label.
3/20/24 – They finally shipped the 3rd 1.25-inch replacement back to me.
5/13/24 – The color engraving on the right side fell out of the 1.25-inch heart locket and 1-year guarantee service was requested by email (with a photo attached). POG’s response requested a photograph (again).
5/17/24: I pinged POG for a response.
5/20/24: Response received requesting clarification of information provided in my original email. POG also stated that I had to pay for shipping because it had been more than 30 days since purchase (that wasn't on their website then, and still isn't even now). I objected.
5/23/24: They insisted, so I begrudgingly paid for shipping.
6/11/24: 1.25-inch heart locket was finally shipped back to me.
2/15/25: The clasp on the 1.25” heart locket broke again, 1-year guarantee service was requested but denied due to the warranty having expired.
I had the 1.25-inch locket repaired locally – and repaired well – with a lifetime guarantee, no shipping charges, and no frustration.
You really don’t want to do business with PicturesOnGold. Trust me.

Picturesongold was one of the best companies I have dealt with in years. The gold metal I ordered was beautiful, engraving was perfect. I had received a discount and paying with amazon I did not receive it. I questioned this and they continued to make sure i was refunded the discount even after I received their product. Great company and I plan to use them as much as I can.

I recently purchased the Heart 2-Page Locket from PicturesOnGold, and I couldn’t be happier! The craftsmanship is truly outstanding—the engraving is intricate and beautifully done, adding a personal touch that makes it feel extra special. The photo quality inside the locket is crystal clear and vibrant, capturing every detail perfectly. It’s the perfect keepsake to hold my most cherished memories, and I’ll treasure it for years to come. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a meaningful, high-quality gift!
