terribly expensive
terribly expensive. i call them for a simple problem, changing a heating control panel. They said it could be fix easily and i should pay £130 for someone to come. The guy ended up staying 6h to find all sort of trivial things and creating new issues, I ended up paying over £1,000... and he left with new issues to fix. They told me i should change my boiler, not because there is any issue with it, just because it's old. They quoted £6.9k to change it, while i paid £3.9k for it 4 years ago.

Although the initial issue reported was with the heating controls, our engineer’s investigation identified multiple faults within the system, including a faulty programmer, a failed hot water zone valve, leaking components, and additional safety and maintenance concerns relating to the boiler and associated pipework. The engineer discussed these findings with you throughout the visit and carried out the agreed repairs to restore the system to working order.
As noted during attendance, some additional issues only became apparent during draining, refilling, and testing of the heating system. These were addressed where possible on the day, and any remaining recommendations were clearly advised. The recommendation to consider boiler replacement was based on the appliance’s age, overall condition, and signs of multiple component failures, rather than simply its age alone. This was provided as advice for long-term reliability, not as an obligation.

Service above and beyond
I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. I had always been reluctant to use Pimlico as I assumed they would be more expensive. However we had a problem that needed fixing quickly and they were available. They sorted 4 problems in one go, completed the jobs in one visit (with spare parts available in the van), were thoroughly nice guys to have in the house, left the room immaculate and even returned my child’s toy the next day which had got mixed up in the rubbish.

I asked for someone to please unblock…
I asked for someone to please unblock the Kitchen Sink and mentioned it had possibly backed up to the boiler located a few feet away.
They didn’t unblock the sink and condemned the boiler.
They then refused to unblock the sink when I complained about this, despite having already paid.
Small claims court.

Unreliable and charge you for their mistakes
Despite calling to double check an electricians arrival time I was told inaccurate information and promised a call ahead of their arrival which never happened. Tennant gave up waiting and now they want to charge another call out fee. Avoid.

I woke up to find my shower was…
I woke up to find my shower was leaking. Pimlico Plumbers arrived within 2hrs of making the call and repaired the issue within a short period of time even after going out to collect a part. Paul was outstanding in hopefully solving the issue

Did half the job
Booked for a roof inspection. They arrived without the correct ladder to be able to do the job. Promised to send videos from the parts of the roof they could inspect but never did. Said they'd send a quote for follow up work but never did that either.

Sophie was excellent with comms and arrived promptly to measure and quote for Airconditioning to be installed in our house. She was friendly and efficient. When she arrived to install with Andrew, again the comms were excellent, both were very friendly, efficient and explained all aspects of the 2-day job. The job was completed to a high standard and my wife and I were delighted.

Stay well away from these guys - absolutely the worst service I’ve ever been exposed to. Pre-paid for visit, arrived, didn’t do anything and said they would follow up. Heard nothing for two week. Chased three times and eventually asked for a refund. Was told the complaints team would get in touch asap. Not heard a thing for two days. They are really another level of scammers!!!

Billy was a pleasure to deal with from the moment he arrived on the first day. We had to have some major work done to our boiler and he and his colleague Gary constantly kept us informed of what they were doing, what they found and how they were going to fix the issue.
