The game is to get hold of your money and keep it for themselves.

The game is to get hold of your money and keep it.
I would like to share my experience to warn others; read if you hold dear to your cash.
Order date 22/06/2016, almost a 4 digit sum for an electronic product listed as available and shipping in 5 days.
First thing; they have problems with credit cards (not accidental; part of the grand scheme). They were so nice, responded at once, urging to make a bank transfer to their account. The transaction was concluded on date 23/06/2016, Pixmania client support thanked and informed me, the transfer receipt will be forwarded and my order prepared.
Sounds nice? Well, once they’ve got the money, they’ve interrupted all communication. No response to e-mails, no response to messages through their web-site client support messaging system. Complete silence.
I can’t thank enough Idealo.de; they’ve offered their assistance after seeing my post about Pixmania and somehow managed to get in contact with Pixmania VDD SAS. After Idealo.de intervened Pixmania contacted me and answered me for the first time in 36 days.
On 28/07/2016 Pixmania finally validated my payment, acknowledging they’ve received my money on their bank account. After this, their client support contacted me by mail, promising to refund me.
As of today, 10/08/2016 the money was not returned. The company does not want to accept the registered infringement letter. Yes, when Pixmania finally contacted me I’ve forwarded them a scan of the infringement letter postal receipt and informed them, this is the last step before filling the civil legal procedure to seize the assets from their bank account and pressing criminal charges. Result? They play it to the last day (15 days for them to accept the letter), holding to the money as long as possible.
Now think about if you have to return a product or have a warranty issue or some other inconvenient. I let you decide if you can trust your money on such people.

Rubish - Items shipped from HongKong direct to customer

Big con
Ordered a phone in their UK website and expected to shipped from UK or at least from Europe.
But when I had my tacking number learned that it has been shipped from HongKong direct to customer (myself).
When I questioned Pixmania they told me that they cant help on this order and given me UK mobile number for their business partner and ask me to contact them directly.

Phone number given not working
big question is who is going to pay customs duty?

DO NOT USE this company.

Terrible customer service by Pixmania.ie

My daughter ordered a phone through my Pixmania.ie account on 12 June 2016. The actual supplier is a company called BuyFive. On the 27 June I sent an email to BuyFive asking when the phone would be delivered. I got back one saying 'Dear customer, We have stopped all the parcels going to Ireland because of Pixmania. They told us to do so because they have received a lot of orders from Ireland suddenly.
The have to check if it is a real order. Please find Pixmania customer service for help. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Thank you.' Sounds very odd to me. No email from Pixmania informing me of this either. Anyway I go into my Pixmania a/c which tells me that the order has been despatched by BuyFive and to contact them if I have a query. I've replied to the email above telling them about the contact problems but have heard nothing back yet. Since 9am ish on the 27th I've been trying without success to actually speak to someone from either Pixmania or BuyFive. The number given for BuyFive by Pixmania spits out a message that the phone is switched off, the Pixmania customer contact no has been continually engaged. I'd give both companies no stars if it were possible. It seems that both companies actively discourage customer contact. I have read lots of very poor reviews of both companies in the last day or so and will never buy anything from either again. At this moment I either want the phone delivered or a refund, but at least some CONTACT from either of them about if/when this order will arrive.

No TV and after 6 weeks still no refund - Do not use this company

Ordered a TV which never arrived, have phoned and emailed numerous times but just told to "be patient" and still no refund after 6 weeks. I feel like I will never get the money back. I will clearly never order from them again, do yourselves a favour and don't risk it even if their price is a bit cheaper than elsewhere.

1 Star is too many. Awful Company. Please avoid.

I am still waiting for a warranty refund. After spending over a month having to send my TV back to France and wait to see if it was repairable, they finally confirmed that they were going to refund me my money under warranty. They never contacted me to tell me that, I had to contact them.
I have now been waiting over a month for this refund. I have emailed and called them at least 10 times. They have stopped responding to my emails and when I speak to them they just say it is being looked into. I am at a loss as to how to get my refund with them being in France.
I feel they try their utmost to avoid contact in the hope you will give up and just go away. They have not kept me up to date with the repair status at all. The UPS repair label they provided me with was incorrect so I even had to pay for some of the warranty return, the TV was faulty and under warranty, I should not have had to pay for that, but when I mentioned it to them it fell on deaf ears.
On a much more positive note, I have since purchased a new TV from Richer Sounds who I must say have been amazing to deal with. I suppose it pays to show loyalty to a UK based company who pride themselves on quality service as they want you to come back.
AVOID PIXMANIA!!!!!!

Worst company I have ever dealt with

They sell products on their site on behalf of other companies. They advertised a TV which I attempted to purchase. The order was confirmed and I awaited delivery. When it did not arrive I contacted Pixmania who told me to contact the third party distributor. This company informed me that they have never sold the product in question and that Pixmania had put the product on their site in error and left it there even after being told it was not available. They informed me that Pixmania was holding onto customers money even though they had been told already.

I contacted Pixmania and an employee asked that I send them a copy of my passport and a copy of a utility bill to prove who I was. I Informed him that all I wanted was for the money to be refunded back to the credit card. He was adamant that I send 'proof of ID' which makes no sense what so ever.

Several calls and weeks later I have still not received a refund. Each time I call I get the same response stating that the call will be escalated. They will not pass you onto a supervisor or give you any other contact information. I have now had to contact the credit card company to lodge a claim against them.

Pixmania have now amended their site telling customers to pay by bank transfer only. This removes all protection that you may have with regards to getting your money back.

If there was a Zero star option I would have selected it.

Warranty Claim

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They offer no routes for an escalation of customer complaint. I was promised a call back by Razeea H, which didn't happen - she is obviously happy to lie to customers. You look at the feedback site and it's obvious they place no value on happy customers. They have a lot to learn about running a business - sorting out warranty and customer related issues in a satisfactory manner is a great way to grow a business, consistently getting back feedback will seriously suppress the sales growth (I've been CEO of a PLC - so have some idea of what I'm talking about).

Do NOT do business with them!

I ordered a phoneand paid by a bank transfer (credit card was not working). After a week I had to prove that I paid (which I did). Then nothing. No response on e-mails, promisses on the phone, still nothing . So I canceled the order and I got the promisse that I would have my money back within days. Two weeks later and many phone calls later: still nothing.

Pixmania sells refurbished products as new

I bought two Western Digital drives on Pixmania Pro.

When I received them, I registered the products on Western Digital website, to confirm the warranty periods, and found something was wrong: two products bought on the same day had different warranty periods.

I reported the situation to Western Digital and, for my surprise, they informed me that both products were not new. They were refurbished!

I must inform I bought the product as if it was new, never in the process I was informed I would get refurbished products. Be aware, Pixmania is a scam!

Avoid like the plague - worst online experience ever

I have been through hell with this company and can only recommend in the strongest terms that you avoid them.

I ordered three iPADs from them on the 6th December that never arrived. Since then I have been battling every single day to get my money back. It is now seven weeks after my original order was placed and I am still trying to get a refund.

Save yourself a few grey hairs and NEVER order from this site

The worst online shopping experience I have ever gone through. Ordered a camera for my dad 15/12/2015 and have never received it - now a month later.

Firstly was given wrong tracking number to trace the package, then when proof of delivery showed it had been incorrectly delivered, the pixmania supplier refused to refund.

Apparently they have no understanding of UK consumer laws, that having a package delivered to just anywhere and signed by anyone, doesn't constitute proof that I have received the goods.

Raising the issue with pixmania, just means they send emails to the supplier, all based on 2 working day response time. They have no escalation path and do not provide you with a refund directly. I've now sent over half a dozen emails, had to call their call centre and still no sign of my £400 refund.

For the small discount of £10 originally from Pixmania I'm now out of pocket, frustrated with no resolution in sight and still having to deal with their awful service.

NEVER EVER EVER order anything from this site if you value your sanity and free time.

Final note - the specific supplier on Pixmania was buyFive.com, which if you call their provided phone number goes to an automated voicemail message in Chinese.

Their first email response suggested that since it's UPS and not their fault the parcel was not delivered, they won't give me a refund.

The second email they sent suggested that in order to get a refund. I should package up the goods, which I haven't received, and send it back to them?!?

ordered a samsung s5 neo on the 21 dec, within hours of ordering received confirmation from a third party firm which i have never heard of, Elite gsm, was told delivery would be 3 to 5 working days, on 22 dec received an email saying phone has been dispatched and delivered 29 dec - 5 jan, thought all is going well. on 6 jan the phone hadn't arrived, emailed Elite gsm and was told a reply would be given within 72 hrs, 72 hrs passed no reply, emailed pixmania and asked for a refund on the order, again no reply, phoned my bank next day and asked them if they could claim the money back and refund it, luckily they said sure, it'll be in your account in the next 24hrs, as soon as my money was refunded had email from both companies within minutes, expressing their apologies over the order, one totally in french to a uk adress??
until money was refunded there was no contact from them and only my bank was co-operative, wouldn't deal with them again!!

Mobile Phone Order - Samsung S5 Neo

Phone was ordered 19th Dec and was in stock (with over 10 in stock)
What isn't made clear is that you are not really dealing with one overall company but placing an order with them that is in turn placed with a another company acting as their 'agent'
In this case my order was actually with a French company called ELITEGSM.
This is where everything went wrong. No contact has been made with me despite multiple emails being sent. I managed to get hold of a person today in Pixmania who has given me 'tracking' information however having spoken to the courier they advise that nothing has been picked up from the French 'supplier' so nothing has been shipped.
Even Pixmania have not managed to get a response from ELITEGSM so not a great experience.
I certainly will not deal with either company again and if you choose to then best of luck! Use a credit card if you do as that should give you ultimate protection if it all goes wrong!
